Calliope looked at him as she took the file. As she turned the first page, blood drained from her face. The file had almost a hundred pages and was all filled with the crimes that her father had committed along with his many accomplices who now hated his guts. 

"Your father stole from the royal treasury, supported the brother of the late king in order to overthrow the then king, arranged mass murders in the country and supported the group that wanted to overthrow the monarchy from the country, " Ronan went on to announce the crimes of Orlando Wilding that he still remembered. "He is dead. He won't be arrested. But what about the son that he hid from all the world? His illegitimate son who is set to inherit his title? What would people say? How will they react?"

Calliope looked at his face in horror as she realized that the birth of Amadeo wasn't a secret anymore.
