7 Chapter 6

I fling the door open as I rush out of the room. Class will be starting soon, and I don't want to listen to any more of this disgusting conversation. Kashima taught the study session today so it was a pretty normal club meeting, but the other members couldn't seem to keep their dirty commentary to themselves. Tomorrow will be Yuri's turn to teach. I'm interested to see how he will go about it. Maybe I shouldn't judge too soon, Yacchan might be right about studying with him. Yuri does seem to be smart and know his stuff, but Yacchan also doesn't know him like I do.

Speaking of which, here he was. Yacchan grinned up at me as he skipped up to me, "(y/n), are you heading to class now?"

"Uh, yeah. You going this way too?" I motion down to the north building. From what I know, first years are in that building too.

Yacchan shakes his head. "No, I have to attend some catchup lessons in the opposite direction. Funny though, I was just thinking of you." I nod, going to wave him off, but I stay as I watch him twiddling his thumbs. He must have something more to say. "Um, are you free tonight? If not, that's totally cool! I was just..."

"I'm free."

He freezes up, mouth agape as he stares at me. Slowly, his lips curve up in a calm, grateful smile. "How lucky! In that case, would you like to start studying today?"

'I don't see why not. It's not like I'm going to progress much studying on my own anyway.' "Sure. What time and where?"

"If you want we can use my room. I don't mind. I'll warn you though, it's a little messy," he chuckles, scratching his neck nervously.

"I'm sure it's not that bad," I laugh. "Either way sounds great, what time?"

"How about eight o'clockish? Just come find me after you finish dinner." I nod. Waving goodbye, we part as I head off to class.

'It's nice to have a friend outside of Yari-bu.' I'm excited about tonight, so much that I fail to notice a particular someone calling my name. "(y/n)?! You in there?" Tamura calls, teasingly knocking his knuckles against my forehead. It isn't until Yuri wraps his arm around my shoulders that I notice the two walking alongside me. "Why are you so distracted? Come on, let's get to class. We're gonna be late at this rate." 'But then again, these boys aren't so bad.'
