(While Alex is waking up and scrubbing his eyes)

Hello, Good Morning, Good Afternoon, and Good Evening to whoever is listening, my name is Alexander F. Hugo or Alex in short, my middle initial F stands is Furio, but that's not important right now..."

(Alex is currently doing his morning martial arts training on his wooden dummy)

I was living with my mother 3 years ago, she died 3 years ago if that's not obvious. I've never met my father and I don't dare to ask my mom about it because she beat me up in my martial arts training when I did. Right now, I live alone in the house my mother bought 5 years ago, I guess the reason why she did that is that that's when she found out she has an illness.

(He went his way out of his house to go to his weekday job)

The doctors didn't know what mother's illness was, why she has it, and how she got it. Mother's body just started slowly degrading until she died, I'm a bit bitter about her death because I have so many questions I wanted to ask. But I guess that's not a possibility now.

(Alex is riding his modern bike, on his way to his work)

I work in one of the biggest companies in Lanima Region —the only Continent to exist where humans live, it's 2050, what do you guess? I am stationed in the S-12 branch of the Company, Scope Enterprise. There are rankings in the Enterprise, S all the way down to D, I am obviously in the S-ranking branch, but I am still in the lowest of the S branch. The S-12.

(Alex then got off of his modern bike and put his bike on auto parking to park his modern bike in the S-12 building's parking area, his section)

(It is a normal occurrence that there are kidnappers and thieves entering and trying to attempt to take over one of the Scope Enterprise's buildings, luckily, they didn't see Alex coming at the back, entering the building, and because he's well-trained in martial arts and self-defense, he's able to bring down the leader of the criminals that entered the S-12 building. He's able to bring down the 5 criminals after the 2 bodyguards entered the scene after Alex intervened)

"Thank you, Mr. Hugo, for helping us, I thought we will need to call in the Scope Soldiers to help us," Said one of the guards after he approached Alex, thanking him.

"It's no problem, that's fun though. I am able to use my martial arts skills at the very least. Are you new here?" Alex said, asking that guard.

"Yes, why?" That guard asked after answering Alex's question.

"This isn't a rare occurrence, this happened last month," Alex said, answering his paranoia.

(One of the older guards went to their side)

"Yeah, Alex has done this last month, he was a big help, you always catch them all off-guard, all the time," the older guard said excitedly.

"That's great, the boss will be looking for me so I'll head up now," Alex said as he heads to the modern elevator after the guards and the others thanked him.

(Alex went to his room and went on with his work, he then went to the meeting with the higher-ups of the S-12 branch in the meeting room)

(After the meeting was done, Alex's friend, Stacia, went to help him clean the meeting room after they're done with the meeting)

"You did very well, Hugo, another great meeting again," Stacia said, complimenting Alex after they were almost done cleaning the meeting room.

"Thank you, Ms. Stacia, I worked hard on it," Alex said.

Ms. Stacia was my instructor in this company for 4 years, she taught me how work is done in the Scope Enterprise when I started. Though we started in the B-18 branch of the Scope Enterprise, I did my best to also help her get promoted with me in this company.

But it became bitter-sweet for me when I found out I become the assistant of the Executive Manager of the S-12 branch, and Ms. Stacia just got promoted to one of the S-12 Operation Managers, I tried to help her move over that but it seems almost impossible in the S ranking branch.

(Alex gets cups of drinking water for the both of them after they're done cleaning in the meeting room)

It's not the end of the world for Ms. Stacia since I got her to the point where she can interact with me regularly, now, she's helping me all the time with my job as the S-12 Assistant Manager, I'm not entirely the Assistant Executive since the Executive of the S-12 doesn't need my help at the moment, at least not when their branch is booming at the moment.

(Alex gave Stacia's drink afterward)

"Thank you for helping me again, Ms. Stacia," Alex said after giving her a drink to her.

"I have nothing better to do, Hugo, besides, I work faster than you. I'm already halfway done with my work for the day so that I can do my other work later here," Stacia said, taking the drink that Alex gave her.

"You're as fast as always, Ms. Stacia," Alex said, heading to the water dispenser to get more drinking water.

"Yeah, anything for the Article I'm writing, I love writing as much as doing my work here. I try to cherish all the things I have as much as possible," Stacia said.

Sure.

(Since the meeting room's water dispenser is at the window wall of the room, Alex gazes into the distance while drinking his cup of drinking water)

I've been doing this for more than a year now, I wonder how things have changed if I still stayed in my house after mother died.

(Alex then heard a hissing noise to his left. He saw a missile coming towards them)

"WTF?!" Alex was shocked to see that.

"EVERYBODY RUN!!!" Alex shouted at the top of his lungs while he runs to Stacia's side—trying to get her to take cover.

(But as he spins counter-clockwise to face Stacia and get her to take cover, the explosion occurs, blasting his face and having all the debris hit and stab Alex's right side, potentially snapping them)

What is happening? Who would launch a missile at us? Specifically, to the floor where I am, why?

(Three Years have passed)

(Alex then woke up in a laboratory, his right body is changed with robotics, and his flesh body has now been enhanced to accommodate his robotic right body)

"What happened to me?" Alex asked himself.
