AFTER ANOTHER MONTH

"Thanks for your cooperation." ,Russell said after crosschecking the contract paper. He just made sure that nothing was wrong with the transaction and everything was according to his plans.

He continued, "I will give you 5000 Soul Stones as per the contract only after you bring me your teammates' Pass! So make sure that you will bring all the pass to me within the next two months without fail. Or else, my shadows will keep haunting you for the rest of your lives."

"What the hell do you mean by that?" ,Gnan asked, "You are saying as if we were allowed to go. Aren't we hostages here? You are speaking at it we could go at any time from this place."

"Ha ha ha ha ha! You are right! You see I am a merchant. And I will always see my benefits first. It became quite an habit for me to make business transactions very quickly. So I forgot about my last client." ,Russell said with some embarrassment filing his face.

He added, "So how about this? You can use whatever means you have and contact your teammates. Ask them to come to our location along with their passes without any failure. Or else, according to the contract, you will suffer a major consequences."

Both Gutherson and Gnan remained silent and gave a death glare to Russell. They wanted to kill him very badly. But they don't want to take the risk now. All they could do is to trust Arjun. There was nothing else they could do other than trusting Arjun's promise of coming for their rescue.

Another month passed in a blink of an eye. And with 30 days remaining for the end of the competition, the number of participants who are still prepared to fight has simmered down.

More than 95% of the teams have either died or lost their will to participate in the competition. That means, the people who are still fighting in the competition are the big shots of the major powers. Of course, there are small but little powerful teams who are putting up a fight as well.

Thanks to the transaction between Russell and Cohan. Russell's team rank had risen by one rank. Previously his rank was five. But now his rank had risen by one and now it settled at four.

As for the previous number four Theresa, she had slipped by one rank and now currently ranked fifth.

As for Peter, he was ranked ninth previously. Actually his rank was within top five before his team was wiped out. Because of the lack of team members, his rank had slipped to ninth. And as of now, it no longer existed in top 10.

As of now, Peter was cursing very badly with in his heart. He blamed Logan and others for his current situation. He knew that once he go back to his sect, he will be nothing but a laughing stock for others.

As per the current 10th rank holder, her name is juvenile. She is a lifestyle Master originated from the Silver Wolf Sect. Her skills were really decent. She made it into the higher echelon of the entire sect from the junior generation.

Since Peters rank no longer existed within top 10, she, who previously ranked 11th has now occupied top 10 spots. Her current ranking is 10.

Juveniles confidence level were not that high. She never expected that she would one day make it into top 10. When she found that her ranking was actually 10, she was excited. With one month to go, she was trying her best to maintain her team's ranking at all cost.

Argent instantly knew that Logan and others were in the similar situation. They were burning with rage. And in order to give them better shape by teaching Dao, they will learn with utmost sincerity. That was a perfect time to teach them.

Arjun guessed that this situation might never come this quickly in the future. He knew that after the end of the competition, they will be in a terrible situation. They will be hunted down by many sects in order to steal their secret.

Arjun gave them the impression that his ancestor was actually the master of the former first seat, Zofra! He also gave them the feeling that his ancestor actually originated from the Celestial Realm!

He made their greed take over their minds. Now they will come and hunt them down in order to steal all the priceless techniques which originated from the Celestial Realm!

Of course, Arjun did all this in order to get stronger as quickly as possible. Only when he kills more people, he could depend on the essence gathering system and raise his cultivation level!

These people will come after all his teammates as well. And the minimum qualification Logan and others should I have to fight them is Dao!
