134 The Silver-Eyed Hellkin (Part 4)
*WHAM!*
I punched the Archdemon in the face while I grabbed his collar. I am still bleeding, but I don't care.
*WHAM!*
I must keep stalling until Arex fully prepared her massive Holy Magic attack that can certainly kill the Hellkins.
*WHAM!*
"Come on, big fella! Come catch these hands!" I said.
*Wham!* *Thwack!* *Bash!*
I kept punching him while holding his collar. More blood comes out of him with each punch I throw.
As I prepare my next punch, it glowed red and veins began bulging.
*Stab!*
The Archdemon gouged my right eye out with his fingers, causing blood to gush out. Usually, it would make me scream in pain, but Pain Nullification helps it.
[Caution. Left eye destroyed.]
[Damage detected, now regenerating...]
"How you like that, you bastard?" the Archdemon said, chuckling. Only to be responded by a big red fist crushing his smug face.
*BLAM!!*
The blow of my fist blew him away, leaving a stream of blood coming from his mouth and nose.
*Crash!!*
The Archdemon crashed right into the boulder, leaving a small crater. He shook his head to shrug off the daze and realize that I continued walking with my right eye closed and the stab wound closing up.
"How...? Even as a Oni, you shouldn't have that strong of Regeneration!" The Archdemon yelled.
"There's a simple answer to that, buddy." I said, still walking forward and my right eye fully recovers. "You fight like a bitch."
"What!?" The Archdemon gawked again and gritted his teeth in anger. This is due to me gaining a bit of control.
I shared my vision with Mavros and see that the Superior Demon is still struggling against him. It is due to his ghostly appearance. Seeing that she is still distracted, killing her would do the trick.
"Mirtis, finish her off." I said telepathy.
Mirtis, who is slaying monsters along with other Death Knights turned around and sees the Superior Demon. He then began running towards her with his two swords in hand.
Mavros uses his claws to take her soul, killing her instantly, but the Superior Demon tried to keep him away with her magic. Although, Mavros cannot do damage to her since she can resist these.
"Urgh, that damn Wraith is annoying!" the Superior Demon groaned as she continued to fire Lightning Magic.
*Wooosh!*
Mirtis jumped high into the air with his two greatswords in his hands, in the naked eye, it's a Berserker clad in armor
*THOOOM!!*
Mirtis landed on the giant boulder, scattering what bones remained there. The Superior Demon noticed Mirtis and yelped.
"No!" The Archdemon yelled and flapped his wings to save her.
*Grab!*
"Nuh-uh, big fella. You with me now!" I said, preventing his escape by grabbing his foot.
*Swoosh!*
*WHAM!!*
I swung the Archdemon down to the ground and went on top of him, on my knees.
"You still need to catch these hands." I said, clenching my fists.
*WHAM!*
I began punching him. Each blow knocks his head back into the ground.
*WHAM!* *WHAM!* *WHAM!* *WHAM!* *WHAM!* *WHAM!* *WHAM!* *WHAM!*
I keep punching him repeatedly and the sensation of when I punch someone, the chances of me breaking my own hand, their ribs, their nose, teeth, and even if I didn't hit any bone, there is the distinct thud.
Just like the time when I beat some Timothy fanatic to death...hehehehe...satisfying.
[Bloodlust Activated.]
I kept punching and punching him faster and harder with a wicked smile in my face.
*THOOM!*
It was until he punched me in the jaw, causing a shockwave. I spat out a couple of teeth, only for it to grow back instantly.
I looked back at him and smiled. I licked the blood off of the corner of my mouth and raised my fist again.
*BREEP!* *BREEP!*
An alarm comes out in my head.
[Warning! Magic instability detected!]
"Magic instability? No...it can't be! Chaos Magic!?" I yelled and looked back to see the Superior Demon flying in the sky holding her staff above her head, summoning a ball of unstable purple energy mixed with red, black, and white.
*BZKT-KZOOM!!*
Lightning danced and raved in the battlefield, but not like the yellow lightning I used as a default, nor like Groza's, Burya's, nor Santrasa's.
Let me explain that Chaos Magic is a type of magic that not even the high-ranking Hellkins are willing to use as it has unpredictable outcomes. It's even rarer that the Hellkins have any resistance against it.
It's a magic that causes great destruction and inflicts various status debuffs on the target like Burn, Poison, Paralysis, Sleep, Charm, and etc. But that's if the target were to miraculously survive.
I don't think that even my Regeneration or Compensator would save me. All I have to do is not let her fire that spell.
"That's...that's Chaos Magic. Hahaha! Amazing!" The Archdemon laughed, estatic with the display the Superior Demon is showing with Chaos Magic.
"Mavros, stop her!" I yelled. Mavros swiftly rose upwards and attempts to use his claws to take her soul.
*Bzztkt!*
"GYEEIIEEK!!"
The uncontrollable lightning struck Mavros, causing him to scream. The small ball of Chaos Magic grew to 3 inches in diameter and yet its power grew exponentially.
I cannot get caught in that magic.
"Mirtis, my Death Knights, stop her!" I yelled.
Mirtis jumped in the air. He threw his greatsword out of bone at the Superior Demon to at least interrupt her casting.
*BOOM!!* *BOOM!!*
*CRASH!!*
The lightning from Chaos Magic struck Mirtis and the sword back down to the ground. Mirtis only got a gaping hole in his chest along with his missing limbs, but it didn't kill him. The Bone Weapon was shattered, but can be created again.
"WROOOOOOOAAA--!" Mirtis roared as to speed up the Death Knights' advance, but was abruptly cut short.
*BOOM!*
It was due to his head being destroyed from the Chaos Magic.
"Dammit! I won't let you!" I yelled, summoning Lightning Magic in my. If that magic explodes, my plan will go up in flames!
*BWOOOSH!*
*WHUMP!*
The Archdemon stopped me with his Dark Magic and tackled me to the ground.
"Do it! Release the magic, my love!" the Archdemon yelled, encouraging her to finish it.
*KREEEEEE!!*
The Chaos Magic screams, indicating its inevitable explosion.
*BREEP!* *BREEP!* *BREEP!*
[Danger! Chaos Magic explosion imminent!]
"NO!! STOP HER!!" I roared as my last attempt to stop the casting.
"WROOOAAAAARGH!!!" the Death Knights roared and flocked to the Superior Demon, the hypnotized beasts followed suit and tried to stop their advance.
The Chaos Magic tried to fight back the horde, but the numbers proved too much.
Even so, I have no intention to take it head on. I used Shadow Sneak to escape the Archdemon.
"What?! Shadow Sneak!?" he yelled. Guess he didn't see that one either, huh?
*Gyoom!*
The Chaos Magic condensed itself and the Archdemon looked back as it is a white speck of light.
*SKREEEEEE!!!*
The Chaos Magic screamed one last time and the Archdemon turned back to see the chaotic lightning strike at every direction.
"Oh shit." He said. And then...detonation.
*VZWOO-KRAKABOOOOOOOOMM!!!*
The explosion of Chaos Magic consumed everything in sight. Mirtis, Mavros, the Death Knights, the hypnotized beasts, and the two Hellkins were completely engulfed by that light.
Me on the other end jumped out of the shadows and kept running, but the explosion kept going closer. Even if I use all my magic for defense, I won't make it unscathed.
"Time to use Space Magic!" I yelled.
*Voom!*
I created a rift that leads to the sky and I jumped through the rift and closed it immediately after. The forest behind me was also shortly consumed by the explosion, leaving nothing in its wake.
