3 Just a little gay...

The only words running wild in Jade's head were that she had to hide...as soon as possible. She was by no means going to meet that boy and be forced into engagement with him!

She had a very clear goal in her mind, yet her thoughts were in disarray, they were agitated. She climbed a few more stairs up to make sure she was completely out of sight.

*I can't just run away* , she thought, *like a coward.*

While having those thoughts, she glanced back down and saw them making themselves comfortable, entering the living room. There was only little time left before her father would call out to her. It was making her uncomfortable.

She hated the fact that she had to hide and run like the skittish, boring person....she really wasn't.

"She should be somewhere around here, probably in her room.", Jade heard her father say. She clenched her fists unconsciously.

There had to be something she could do, in order to escape him and his godforsaken plans. Jade was not the type to accept a fate laid out before her. So she... was going to fight. She just had to figure out her weapons.

*Ok, calm down*, her thoughts whispered. *There has to be something you can do to stop this, without running away.*

Her glance still down and her breath a little shallow, Jade was thinking...hard.

And then she figured it out!

She was going to keep her mask on. She was gonna show this rich boy who was so good with words the person he wished so badly to see. Just...her real self. The man she was actually inside. The handsome King of Shion Royal Academy.

She couldn't help but smirk a little.

This was going to be so much fun!

With her neat male uniform still on and while ruffling her hair a little, she got up and climbed the stairs down two at a time. She was going to create yet a new character, this time a beautiful, fun, disobedient high school boy. The type to be chosen as Student Council President solely for his charm and looks.

Jade's father didn't even get to call out to her because in a matter of seconds, she was already standing right before their eyes, leaning against the doorframe. It was the type of entrance a King like Jade deserved.

"I heard chatter", she said, struggling to keep a grin back as soon as she noticed her father's expression. He was both horrified and angry, but struggling to keep his calm nonetheless. She couldn't wait to see this situation she just created unfold.

"Hi." was everything the Alacroz boy managed to say at the sight of her. His gaze wandered around her figure, studying her body a little before returning up to scout the look in her eyes.

*Do I sense gay tendencies, my boy?*

It was so hard for Jade not to giggle. She had to admit he wasn't that bad, he had a fairly pretty face and the fiery color of his hair made him attractive. Not that she actually cared for that, it was more of an objective analysis.

" 'Sup."

The Minister's gaze was slowly strangling her, but it made everything all the more fun. She was gonna show this rich boy a sloppy, bored, yet handsome...young man.

"You must be Jade's brother, right?", said Victor in a serene voice. She was already feeling sorry for him.

"I am Victor Alacroz. Glad to make your acquaintance, I'm supposed to marry-"

"Me, yes, I know. I heard from father."

Her answer was like a heavy slap to his face.

"Nice to meet ya. I'm Jade Sharrow, the second and youngest son of the Minister of External Affairs right there." She gestured towards her father with a carefree, but still somewhat elegant movement and continued:

"I am overjoyed to marry you!"

The face that Victor made was priceless!!

A certain degree of helplessness descended upon his features and he kept glancing between the horrified Minister and his "son".

"Ah, would you look at my cute little princess, to joke like this-"

"You mean prince, father. Why would you call me a princess?"

The innocence in Jade's voice and eyes were tearing at her father.

*This is payback, old man.*

The Minister was rendered speechless and was searching for something new to say when Jade decided to take everything to another level. Something even more fun.

She walked up to her supposed future husband and extended her hand to have him shake it. Or even better...to have him place a kiss on the back of her hand. Yeah, that was definitely more amusing.

Seeing how disturbed Victor looked, she laughed shortly and whispered a little louder on purpose:

"I believe you are supposed to kiss my hand. Ah, this is a little embarrassing ..."

The heir of the Alacroz family was done for. His eyes were dead when he took Jade's hand in his own.

"D-Don't you think a handshake would be more appropriate in this situation...?"

So she got her future husband to stutter. Ah, her charms were working just perfectly!

"A handshake?", she said, half mumbling to herself. For the additional drama, she stole a short glance at her father. Her very pale father. "Is it really so hard to imagine kissing my hand? Do I really disgust you so much...?"

*Now you've seriously crossed the line and changed your character entirely, Jade. But...oof, this is fun.*

Confused and slightly angered, Victor brought the back of her hand to his lips and placed a light kiss on her skin. It surprised him how soft her skin was. He nearly caught himself wanting more of it.

"Listen", he said after a few seconds, with a certain degree of finality in his voice, "are you biologically male or female? I need to know at least this much."

"Fem-", tried her father one last time to intervene, but he was of course interrupted by his "son".

"Male, darling. I don't know if my family told you the rest, but I really love cross-dressing, you know.."

*This isn't even a lie.*

"And...", she allowed herself a short pause to look in his eyes. They were dark, but had silver sparks. Pleasant to look at. "I guess I have always been a little more on the...soft, feminine side. I'll be the perfect bride and no one will have to know."

With these words, Jade placed her hand on his chest and leaned a little closer to him, ready to whisper in his ear. Victor looked sick.

"...except for the two of us, of course", she murmured, making sure to get him to shiver a little.

*What a villain I am...*

Looking more or less ready to throw up, he slapped her hand away and, with a slightly hateful glance thrown at the Minister, said:

"With all due respect, I'm calling this engagement off. I have never felt so humiliated in my life!"

She laughed, unable to suppress the urge inside her heart to do so, as he was hastily leaving her house.

With an innocent look in her eyes, she glanced at her father and nearly tripped on thin air. She had never seen him this angry before.

"Father, I'm sure you must be angry. But you have to understand my circumstances as well, I cannot marry someone that doesn't see me for who I am..."
