3 That Person

In this world, kings are the most esteemed, feared, and special group.

They draw power from myriad dimensions, establish kingdoms, succeed in ruling, and make their countries and themselves powerful. However, this process is extremely dangerous. Those who rush in without knowing anything beforehand mostly die and live on as a stark reminder and as an example.

Many kings who recklessly traverse dimensions meet tragic ends. Occasionally, those with good luck select and start with relatively easy worlds, succeed in ruling, causing their kingdom and power to skyrocket and enabling stable growth.

But most of the time, kings die at the first step!

It is always challenging to traverse other dimensions due to lack of intel on the world one is travelling to. Imagine suddenly barging into a strange world, while being practically blind. What consequences would such a situation bring? The task that kings must accomplish becomes evidently more and more difficult when faced with such circumstances.

But this difficulty is reduced for Qin Yi.

He can choose familiar parallel worlds, relying on information gained from his previous life on Earth he can bypass all difficulties and greatly benefit from those worlds as well.

Compared to other kings, undoubtedly, he has an unfair advantage.

"However, establishing a nation in the world of Naruto."

Qin Yi's expression became serious again.

After pondering for a moment, he silently realised that even with knowledge of the plot and characters, and even with the common knowledge of that world, completing such a task would not be easy.

The civilization of the country at the present time was similar to the stone age. No knowledge about firearms whatsoever. They just had knowledge about cold weaponry.

"It's truly a civilization barely at the starting point!"

Qin Yi shook his head while sighing.

He was not the seventeen-year-old boy from the past; he had to consider things more carefully and he knew that relying solely on courage cannot solve any problems. To conquer a world like Naruto with just cold weapons would be extremely difficult.

Do they have to rely on swords to confront various bloodline limits and powerful ninjutsu that could potentially destroy cities and even countries?

"What about some intelligence? We heard that the person returning this time brought back intell!"

Suddenly, a chaotic voice sounded.

Qin Yi looked up and saw a group of people in coarse clothes, their faces showing anxiety, walking quickly towards him.

In his mind, Qin Yi realised that these dozen or so people were all the ministers of the country at this time. Yes, this country had become so impoverished that it had only a dozen or so ministers, not even comparable to members of a department in a company on Earth.

"Your Majesty?!"

The ministers were surprised to see Qin Yi, and then the sense of joy enveloped them.

"It's so good that you're fine. The physician said the day before yesterday that you were about to recover, but we were so worried as we were never sure."

"It's great, really great for as long as you wake up, there's still hope."

Upon seeing him, the ministers forgot about the intel about the other world and all their eyes were fixed on him.

Naturally, Qin Yi understood the meaning of these ministers and couldn't help but shake his head with a bitter smile. After all, after the previous king, his father left he left him with these useless people as ministers. He couldn't rely on them to come up with any constructive suggestions. It was under their advice that his previous self rushed headlong into the world of Naruto.

Undoubtedly, these ministers, upon seeing him awake, were probably going to urge him to enter another parallel world again.

As expected.

"Your Majesty, now that you've awakened, make preparations again. As long as you enter another world, our kingdom will not continue to decline."

"Yes, yes, if this continues, our territory will shrink, and we'll have no space to live!"

"Organise soldiers, let's try again. If we succeed, the kingdom will evolve."

Listening to these anxious urging voices, Qin Yi just smiled coldly.

"I have my own plans."

After speaking, Qin Yi flicked his sleeve and turned to leave.

The ministers were dumbfounded, standing there unsure of what to do. Vaguely, they felt that this newly awakened king seemed different from before.

Leaving, Qin Yi felt uncomfortable.

These useless ministers were misleading. The previous self didn't know, but he was well aware. Knowing nothing, he plunged into the world of Naruto solely on the advice of these fools, ending up with a dead end. Even his sister and most of the soldiers in the country were now trapped in the war in another world, unable to escape.

"The ministers are hopeless, yet going to the world of Naruto is imminent."

Qin Yi's face was solemn.

He knew that there was no time to delay now. But if he rushed into that world, how would he be any different from his previous self?

"Who else can I rely on?"

One person cannot establish a country, and he himself had just arrived in this world; he didn't even understand the abilities of a king. Naturally, he needed someone knowledgeable to guide him. With his current powerless situation, he would just be courting death.

Racking his brain, Qin Yi's eyes suddenly lit up.

"There really is someone!"

"And it's him!"

"My disappointment of a father wasn't so irresponsible afterall to leave all this mess to me!"

The corner of his mouth curved up, and Qin Yi felt much more relaxed.

It's because he remembered that before his previous self's father left, he deliberately left someone behind for him and urged him to make good use of him. Unfortunately, his previous seventeen-year-old self, who had been pampered since childhood, didn't understand the person's prowess. For a long time, he had neglected him, never thinking about him.

But Qin Yi wouldn't do that because that person was famous in his previous life and extremely powerful!

Especially in exploring the unknown, he was most adept.

Walking along the street, Qin Yi's expression became increasingly serious.

Within the royal city, desolation was evident. No one was doing business, no one was working; hungry people everywhere with lifeless eyes stared ahead. They waited for death in despair, having long lost hope.

Only when he passed by these poor people he could see a glimmer of hope in their eyes, kneeling down laboriously and saluting him.

At that moment, Qin Yi clearly saw the respect and hope in their eyes.

Qin Yi's body trembled, goosebumps erupted all over him, and in that moment of eye contact, he understood what it meant to wear the crown and bear its weight.

The pressure of death on these people, the hope of living, instantly pressed down on him like a mountain.

"Perhaps the pampered previous self also saw these eyes and went to explore parallel worlds regardless of everything!"

Compared to hundreds of thousands of lives, what does one life matter?

Protecting these poor people and making their lives better is a king's responsibility and duty!

His eyes became firmer, and Qin Yi's pace quickened.

He must find that person! In this difficult situation, only by relying on him can they overcome it!
