The Legend of Sir Aurelius, The King's Protector

King Arthur, Merlin, Lancelot, Morgan Le Fay, Mordred and Guinevere. All Famous people that's name resound way before their time, for different reasons.

King Arthur and his Excalibur, Lancelot and Guinevere's Affair, Merlin and his Magic, Modred and his betrayal. Lastly, Morgan Le Fay, the Kind hearted Fairy suddenly turned witch.

Praised or talk down upon, Men and women would give prayers to them for forgiven or penitent. To people now, these Historical beings were as much as a god than any before.

In the story of these Arthurian Tales, unlike the normal story we all knew. One sole Man, God or Demon, whatever you want to call him, would always be mention in chronicles of these well known men and women.

This Figure that was known by several names, Camelot's Last Gate, The King's Protector, Bringer of Desperation. The Person that stood before Saxon and Demon alike, the back that every man, child and women can look up to for protection.

This Knight, Fallen to his duty and giving his life for another. He was, Sir Aurelius Emrys, Husband of Queen Morgan Let Fay and Father of Morganette.

Story articulated that in every Well-Known Arthurian Legend, at least once or multiple times, the Tale of the Boy that escaped Slavery was mentioned.

In the Tale of Arthur Pendragon, to keep the kingdom of Camelot safe from Saxon soldiers, Sir Aurelius fought days on end alone against 10,000 revenge filled Saxons. It was grueling, no reinforcement could arrive before he lost barely against the Saxon men.

Thankfully because of his bravery and courage, Reinforcement finally arrived and took care of the last 2,000 men. But, it came at a cost. The life of Sir Aurelius.

In the arms of Arthur Pendragon, The Fallen Knight let out his last dying breath and died there in his arm. Helpless and full of sorrow for the loss of his brother in law, King Arthur could only carry him back to Camelot. Even when his arms burned and screamed in agony, the King never dared to put him down.

All the way there, Soldiers followed behind King Arthur, never on horse back but feet. All of the men once in there life owed the very lifeless man there lifes. Paying respect to the now dead Legendary figure was the only thing going through their heads.

Once the Soldiers of Camelot finally arrived. The kingdom of Camelot weeped for their Saviour. No matter the Status of your income, poor and the rich could only admire the once Slave boy.

King Arthur walked everywhere in the Kingdom to show the body of the man that sacrificed himself on a suicidal mission to his people. The view of their king crying over his perished knight were engraved in every Civilian of Camelot.

King Arthur while holding his friends would whisper soothing tales of their childhood and moments when they were young. The very thought of being left alone without Aurelius, he couldn't bare. Nevermind seeing his Half-Sister, out of everyone that cared for Aurelius, it was Lady Morgan.

Yet, even knowing the turmoil that will be caused because of this, he had to let his sister see her Husband one last time before he would become one with earth.

Once the beautiful doors of Tintagel Castle came in sight, immediately Morgan came bursting out anxiously. Forever being the memory to be carved in her mind, She saw the love of her life lying with a hole in his chest. Finally, The kind Hearted Fairy broke down, her knees buckled.

Arthur saw something that shook his world right there. His Sister's belly was bloated, the clear sign of Pregnancy. Guilt and Pain overwhelmed his broken heart, the excruciating idea of his friends not being able to know that a new life was born within his Wife. All the times his friend wished and prayed to the gods for a beautiful girl, he couldn't count.

Reaching out to him, Morgan caressed her beloved's cheek with tears flooding from her eyes, whispering in his ear that she was pregnant. To know that he will never even know, it was like a hammer smashing against her heart.

Finally after heart wrenching time waiting for his burial, Everyone paid there respect. At the end of it all, his stone was covered in flowers. When everyone left, only Knights of the Round table, Morgan, Arthur and Guinevere gazed at there fallen friend.

One last goodbye, they left except Morgan. She caressed her belly, all the time she spent with Aurelius, his training gruesome training, healing him and spending time with him. They were now just a fond memory to cherish, including this baby. She croaked a promise to the grave of Aurelius.

He would always be within her heart and as long as she still breathes, the baby will be loved like she had two parents.

Almost like he was there with her, the flowers around her bloomed. The sun peaking from the hill, set it's light upon her. Taking it the a sign, The once kind hearted Morgan La Fey, turned to the Witch that all history knew her for.

To show there thanks for Aurelius, A statue of him was made in the center of Camelot. His Tall body, Silver hair flowing through the air, sword raised up like he was giving orders. This would be the Statue in history, to express the sacrifice that Sir Aurelius Emrys took that very fateful day.

History as for told went as normal except the feeling of lost within Camelot especially Arthur. Arthur Pendragon lost his battle against his son, Modred. Morgan Le Fay hided away in the shadow while thinking fondly throughout history of her fallen man. Lancelot would die for his Affair with Guinevere and she would die of stress once Arthur was said to be dead.

Soon no longer, Briton was finally taken over by the Saxons. To thus, make what we call modern ages.

"Is there any question class?"

As all the Students came out of there thoughts, Someone in particular raised their hand in curiosity.

"Yes, Rin." Pointing at a black haired girl, he gestured for her to talk.

"Teacher, Why did Morgan Le Fay do what she did when her Husband was Childhood friends with King Arthur?" Generally confused, Rin asked. Humming in acknowledgement, the Teacher said.

"Having no one to blame for the death of her husband, and already having deep hatred for her brother. Morgan Le Fay out of Hatred, already for her brother and father, blamed his death to Arthur. The only assumption we can make is that Morgan Le Fay blamed Arthur for the lack of ability to arrive when Aurelius needed it." Just in the nick of time, The bell rang for end of the day

"Okay class, we will carry this topic tomorrow." Packing his stuff up, the teacher left.

All grabbing there separate bags, Each of the students left the class. Seemingly in a hurry, Rin strolled to her household. Opening and entering the house, instantly a beep could be heard down the hallway. Curious, Rin was Infront of it and tapped a button to hear the message.

"You have One message, recorded January 31st at 3:21pm." Hearing the usual robotic voice, then suddenly it's voice changed to a deep voice.

"Rin, its me. As I'm sure you already know. The deadline entry is tomorrow, I'd advise you to hurry and decide immediately. Only two slots remain, The Lancer and Saber Class. Summon your servant and establish your command right away... Of course, if your not participating in the holy grail war than that is a different matter. If you value you your life Se-"

Already having enough, Rin turned the telephone off. "Huh, you don't have to tell me what to do." Walking away, she headed straight away down to the basement.

Box already out on a desk table, she opened it and inspected the artifact. A Piece of Blue slik, Old from its tone and looked to be ripped. On the other, miraculously in a container, there was a silver piece of hair.

"This better work."

Moving everything, swiping the papers on the floor away with her feet. Rin stared at the Servant summoning symbol on the floor, breathing a deep breath in.

"Everything is perfect, by summoning at 2:00am. My mana is at its peak, I'll get saber. I just have to hope this relic will bring the correct servant." Box in hand, Rin grabbed ahold of the hair and fabric, placing them on the ground. Rin started the Summoning.

"Silver and iron to the origin. Gem and the archduke of contracts to the cornerstone.

The ancestor is my great master Schweinorg.

The alighted wind becomes a wall. The gates in the four directions close, coming from the crown, the three-forked road that leads to the kingdom circulate.

Shut (fill).

Shut (fill).

Shut (fill).

Shut (fill).

Shut (fill).

Repeat every five times.

Simply, shatter once filled.

――――I announce.

Your self is under me, my fate(doom) is in your sword.

In accordance with the approach of the Holy Grail, if you abide by this feeling, this reason, then answer.

Here is my oath. I am the one who becomes all the good of the world of the dead, I am the one who lays out all the evil of the world of the dead.

You, seven heavens clad in three words of power, arrive from the ring of deterrence, O keeper of the balance ――― !"

At once, the whole room filled with bind boggling amount of Mana/Magic. When she finished, the room blasted everything away, causing her to go on one knee. Still having the Red Mana everywhere slightly, she heard a deep masculine voice.

"Are you my master?"

Her head went up, filled with awe and joy at what she saw. The Person standing directly Infront of her opposingly. He was clad in a silver armour with a helmet, around his waist was two swords, Golden blade, with a blue handle.

Also around his waist, going down to his knees was a blue fabric, a white line on the bottom with a lion engravement on the right of it. She could only guess his height was around, 6'3-6'4.

"I say again, are you my master?"

Snapped out of her observation, Rin saw his hand outstretched. Growing a slight blush from her lack of manners, stood up and coughed.

"Yes, I'm your master. If it isn't rude of, what class are you?" Overwhelmed with excitement, she wanted to confirm if her guess was correct.

"I am a Heroic Spirit, The saber class." Hand to his chest plate, he curtly bowed, behind his mask was a grin. Reason for this was because of his confidence in his skills to be possibly any class except assassin and rider.

"Yes! Yes! Yes! I've got the Saber class!" Jumping up and down, Rin pumped her arms around excitingly. This was happening while The Knight smiled fondly at this.

"You seem to be happy of your choice of Servant." Amused, Rin blushed at being caught. Recovering the colour of her face. Rin exclaimed.

"Why wouldn't I be? Your the saber class, the best class!" Happy what she got clearly, the Knight shaked his head and without saying anything headed to the door.

"Wait! Where are you going?" Confused why she stopped him from exiting, he said bluntly.

"Outside." Pushing her aside, he stepped out the door and up the stairs. Yet again in his path, they both stood in the hall way.

"At least tell me whoever you are before you start marching around." Angered, she crossed her arms. Sigh leaving his mouth, with both hands, he took off his helmet.

Cinematically, his helmet was finally off. Swishing his shoulder length hair away from his view, he put his hair in a ponytail but still had some hair going down his face. When she got a good view, her face went as red as a tomato.

Narrow eyebrows, Beautiful silver eyes like his hair, Sharp Jaw line. His cheekbones were high and clear as day light. His Looks were frightening, without a doubt, he was the most handsome man she has ever saw in her life.

(A/N: Image of his Armour and Face is here.)

'...Wow...' Only giving one word to express what she thought, the Handsome Knight smiled down to her and said.

"Aurelius Emrys, Knight of the Round Table and Right hand of Sir Arthur Pendragon. It's a pleasure to meet you, Master."

Just plainly staring at his face, Rin's clarity grew back to her and immediately not wanting to make already soo much of a scene, Calm her blush. While she did, her mind finally took in the information that was given.

"Your Thee Aurelius! The Protector of King Arthur Pendragon." Exhilarated by the identity of her Servant, Rin had an Overjoyed expression.

"That is I." Chuckling, he nodded. Seeing how cute she was, Aurelius rubbed her head like a kitty. From the interaction, Aurelius started to reminisce about a similar moments between him and the two Princesses.

"Such good times..." Sadly muttering under his breath, Rin looked up to see his down crest face. A small frown soon came on her face.

"What are you doing frowning. Young people shouldn't worry about the Elderly. *Chuckle*" Certainly not interest in other people worrying for him, he joked and changed the conversation.

Giggling like a little girl at the young adult's joke, Rin only now realized a seemingly young Aurelius looked.

"Your not old, you only seem to be around your early 20s." Confused about his age, in Class or history. It was said, Aurelius died when he was 28.

"We'll look at me, I've got a clever master. Correct, I'm actually only 23 before I died." Using Sarcasm, Rin pouted yet carried on to explain his age. Unlike modern day time when dying at even 40 was young, where Aurelius came from, Dying at such a young age was normally because of the constant wars.

"Seriously, your only 7 years older than me." Astonished by his age, Rin eyes were wide.

"It's normal. I'm lucky I didn't did before I turned 20. This was how brutal wars were." Even more Astonished by him. Rin just nodded mindlessly.

"So.... What happened after my death?" Walking to get a seat on the sofa, he spread his arm out and placed one of his leg over the other.

"Well... How should I put this. Camelot is Gone." Nervously rubbing her head, no other seat to sit in. Rin could only sit beside the Legendary figure.

Given an eye-opener from what she said. Aurelius's head was in his palm, questions about what was he working for surfaced in his mind but more importantly. Was Morgan and Artoria okay?

"...Morgan and Arthur?" Barely releasing his voice, Rin's face knowing what history he had with the Pendragon siblings. Said worriedly.

"Arthur... He died in the battle of Camlann, 10 years after you died. As for Morgan Le Fay, it isn't known, some stories say she died by Merlin with Excalibur but others say the death of her daughter put the nail in her coffin." The ability of looking in his direction leaving her. Rin suddenly felt a trembling sensation beside her.

"I-I.... Have a daughter..."

Looking at his shaken hands, The once confident and masculine voice broke down. It was now just a voice filled with eagerness of the reality of having a child yet disappointment in himself for dying before he could meet his child.

Currently just a vassal full of Emotions, Rin feeling tired and knowing her servants mind is occupied in a reality check. Stood up and said from the door way before departing to the chambers.

"I don't know what your thinking, but... Know that she was proud to be the Daughter of the Knight that saved Camelot.... Good night Aurelius." Just trying to calm his emotions before leaving, Rin said her dues.

Taken the words of his master to heart. Aurelius layed down on the couch and before going into slumber, mind went into a series of thought about what he should do and how he could meet Artoria and Morgan once again, and possibly his daughter.

---------------------------

Hope you enjoyed my own Fate Fanfic, As you can see Aurelius is a Servant. But I've changed something, the servants will have bodies. They are just simply heroes that are summoned in the throne room with there bodies and are connect with their masters soul. Dying or switching masters won't affect the Heroes souls.

I've also changed the servant and master's. As you could probably guess who the lancer will be, then you can realise how gruelling it could possibly be for Aurelius to fight maybe in the future.

Sorry if I missed something important about the Pendragon family or an event but I've tried to search it all up. In the end this is what I got, anyway, thanks for reading and See you next Chapter! Bye! 👋👋👋
