24 The Match Starts

Orochimaru, who is in the disguise of Kazekage, was making small talks to the 3rd Hokage when he felt someone staring at him. Looking towards the source, he sees a group of 4 people sitting on the audience seats. Looking further, he saw a golden-haired boy with piercing red eyes that can see through everything. He also noticed that although it is subtle, he sense a kingly aura from that boy. Other than that, he sensed nothing else. He chalked it up that the boy was just curious at him.

Sarutobi, knowing where Orochimaru was looking, said this as to distract him from the group, "What do you think about the upcoming battle, Kazekage-dono?"

Orochimaru chuckled, and said, "Of course, I'm excited to see the Finals start, Hokage-dono." What he said about getting excited was not wrong in a sense. He was very excited about the battle that he is going to commence and kill the old Hokage he once called teacher. He was very surprised to see Tsunade back in Konoha with a group of people none the last. But, he put it in the back of his mind since he believed that his attack will be victorious.

Orochimaru was curious about the four people that Tsunade had brought to Konoha, but he only found out that they were her friends. He had asked his men to spy on them but nothing came up other than the fact that they had gone on a tour around Konoha. He snorted at this since he think that they are just useless fodder that Tsunade brought to buy what little time she can get. He did not give them a lick of sympathy since its their fault to come to this soon to be battlefield by themselves.

Oh, how wrong Orochimaru was. And he will realize this fact sooner and in a very, very, very hard way in the form of a golden-haired boy that he had ignored. Oh, there many ways to beat the shit out of him.

'The plan will not change," Orochimaru darkly thought, 'This village will be mine, and mine alone.'

What Orochimaru did not know that Sarutobi Hiruzen had already received news of the attack, and was making a trap for him. He would make Orochimaru regret his decision of abandoning his Village and go rogue. He will also remedy the mistake that he had made. 'You will not escape me this time, Orochimaru,' Sarutobi thought, waiting for the attack to begin with preparations already in the way.

Sarutobi had both Jiraiya and Tsunade hide themselves to get ready for the battle.

(A/N: I haven't introduced Anko properly the previous chapter. So, I'm doing this right now. There may be some point where I copy some lines from 'Sis-con Dimensional Chat Group'. I added this so that no one will be bitching me about this.)

Anko is a average-sized, young woman who was of slender frame. She has light brown, pupil-less eyes. Her violet hair is styled in a short, spiky, fanned-out ponytail. She usually wears a fitted mesh body suit that covers her from neck to thigh. Over this, she typically wears a tan overcoat with a purple in-seam and a pocket on each side, a dark orange mini-skirt, a dark blue belt, and pale grey shin guards. In addition to the typical forehead protector, she also wears a small pendant that looks like a snake fang and a wristwatch.

Anko herself was surprised when she see Tsunade's friend again in the audience seats of the arena. Ever since she had met them at the dango shop that she had been frequenting to, she had been thinking about the underlying meaning that Reima had told her. She already knew about that attack, already made plans for it and was placed here as a guard. She want to sit near them and get to know them more.

"You know, I've never properly introduced myself back then. My name is Anko Mitarashi. You can call me Anko," Anko said, starting the conversation.

To which Reima replied, "Nice to meet you too, Anko. My name is Reima. The beautiful women next to me is Yukihime. The grandpa with a chief hat is Yajima, and this is our green cinnamon boy, Izuku."

"Hey," Izuku said, "I-I'm not a green cinnamon boy. I'm just a 15 year old boy. The same age as you."

"I'll not deny the fact that I'm 15 years old, Izuku. And you should not deny the fact that you're a green cinnamon boy. Your fans have name you as such," Reima countered.

"Awe, come on. Why would I be name as such?" Izuku said with a childish tone. Yep, he's a green cinnamon boy, no doubt about it.

Anko was just sitting there listening to the short conversation of the two boys. She was very surprised that Reima was 15 years old, despite looking like a 25-year old handsome boy. Of course, Reima, having inherited GIlgamesh's blood, also have his face and body. I mean Caster Gil. Just look at him, he is hot as fuck. If I'm a girl, I'd be simping over him hard. And yes, this is the Author breaking the 4th wall to talk about this. Back to the story then.

Seeing the group of people interacting like this, with Yajima and Yukihime chuckling at the 2 boys quarrels in which Reima is winning, Anko had noted that they are a group of good and nice people. She had also noted the fact that they were talking to her like a normal people, and without disgust. The other people would look at her with disgust knowing her past as the traitor Orochimaru's disciple.

They continued their conversation until the 1st match started. The battle of the 1st Match is between Hyuga Neji and Uzumaki Naruto.

Reima was curious about the match since it was legendary in the manga and the anime. Let us see how the match between the young genius of the Hyuga Clan and the Jinchuriki of the Nine-Tails Beast.

__________________________________________________________________________________________________________

The match between Neji and Naruto had started. And, at the start of the match, Neju had started to preach about how 'fate' had deemed him to get victory and Naruto to lose in this match. And all the yadas yadas that came along.

Naruto, believing that you are what you are, and you became what you do, thinks that all the 'fate' things is just a load of bull to him. A sentiment that Reima wholeheartedly agrees.

Neji, preaching about fate, had his own reason. And the reason is the seal on his forehead. I'm not gonna elaborate more on that matter. Those who have read or watch Naruto knows, right?

Anyways, Naruto only had one thing in mind currently, and that is to beat the shit out of Neji, who had harmed poor Hinata.

"What load of bullshit," was the word that came out of Reima's mouth after hearing Neji's speech about 'fate'.

Yajima asked, curious about Reima's statement,"What do you mean by that Reima?"

"Hmph, didn't you heard what Neji said? That 'fate' determines all? If that is not a load of crap, that what is?" Reima replied, with a hint of anger in it.

He then continued, "If you are saying that fate decides all, it means that the one who says this, or the one who just accepts anything thrown in their way, are just soulless, mindless, humanoid husk that dance and suffers at the whims of the powerful."

Hearing this, Anko and Yukihime got solemn looks on their face. What Reima said was true. Both of them had suffered under the whims of the strong. But unlike Neji, who believe that fate is what decides all, both of them had break free from their painful and traumatic torments. And now they'd lived a happy life.

Even Izuku was affected by Reima's words for a while. Although he had not face things as worse as the 2 ladies here, he still suffers from the strong.

"Let us put down whatever that is in your minds and watch the match. You only need to focus about the present and the future, not the past," Reima said encouragingly.

With that, the 5 people continued watching the matches.
