Just A Child

King was shocked Ignatius had said that the school year started two weeks ago but really was starting today, official at least some students Ignatius arrive a week early or more to have a early start. Ignatius was wrong. To King Ignatius was a grand saviour who didn't ask questions and helped him when at the tavern and getting him to college but that was a lie. Ignatius wasn't some grand mage or anything he was just another person who was going to leave him. Everyone leaves him. Then "King don't waste your time thinking like this, I'm here so don't worry." "You don't know that so just shut up." He said to himself. King now looked around, after walking in they - ignatius and him - were separated and take into different rooms. The room is nicely furnished with expensive rugs and a bookshelf filled with ancient tomes, scrolls and boxes. Curiosity got the better of him and he looked at the tomes. King was surprised to find that they had spells in them, then he realised that they were grimoires. He went to open the boxes but the door behind him opened, making King jump. At first glance he thought it was Ignatius and turned around, "I'm not Ignatius you know. I'm his brother". King turned and had a proper look at the stranger. He looked identical to Ignatius except there were no burn marks or patches spots in his beard and hair. King had heard about siblings that looked the same before but had never seen such. "Now Iggy has told me your story and…. talent, so don't worry all is ok". King was pleased, but confused why he had paused before he said talent. Then King said thought "stop being so cautious" to himself, and laughed

The Warden was worried and annoyed. Ignatius clearly didn't know what he was doing, it was as simple as that. He saw King not as the child he was, but a way to redeem himself, but King really was a child. A powerful, unique, lucky so very lucky but child no less. Ignatius mistakes had made him miss this… his old brother truly was lost forever more. But that was not important, the Warden now had to get special teachers for King while at the same time trick the average students that King wasn't in any way special although he was, then register him in this country and make sure that the authorities don't arrest King for his "name". But first he will have to get Ignatius to leave without it being a problem for King. Ignatius might not want to leave but the Warden no longer care for what his brother wanted. But mother would want him to give Ignatius a room for a night. The Warden sighed, it was going to be a long first week.

"Do you have any idea what you are doing, any at all". The Warden was furious, Ignatius was a stupid, wreckless, good for nothing brother and person. "Of course I do. The plan is for you to give King a place here, and then after his education I will sponsor him, hopefully- no undoubtedly he will make a name for himself in a few years or maybe even less, I will be recognized as his teacher and master and be given my rights back." By the end Ignatius was so hyper he was shaking and almost jumping up and down. "It would never work. You know the rules better than anybody, no has ever or will ever get their rights back and this is extremely true for you because of what you did"! The Warden's voice was loud when they had started but now was a scream, for what Ignatius was saying went against everything the Warden believed. "King. The- A BOY! Is just a child do not try to use him for your own ends, now get out before I make you." Ignatius was mad, so mad he might of challenged his brother if not for bad pairing. "You are no brother of mine" and with that Ignatius left. "I'm sorry mother, I know this isn't what you would have wanted but I don't know what else to do. King is just a child. Just a child...."
