3 Chapter 3- The truth

"Wait, what? Share a bed!"

"Yeah."

"Won't that be weird?"

"Not if you don't make it weird."

(I'm a fucking god, I've killed before and yet I'm getting flustered because a girl wants to sleep in the same bed as me. Damn these human emotions.)

"wh-whatever do what you want."

"I will."

They both got ready for bed. After a couple of hours had passed and Kokoto knew Sakiri was asleep he got up and went outside. The second he got outside he made sure that no one was around. After seeing no one was around he changed. Kokoto's eyes become red and his body starts to change. Long, black, boney wings spring from his back. Horns grow from his head. His fingers turn into long sharp claws. And a long black tail with spikes lining the top grows out of his back. But this time was different from when he fought Kutro. Blood was spilling from his eyes as if he was crying.

"Damn you gods. Even in death you still curse me."

Out of nowhere scar-like cracks appear on Kokoto's demonic body.

"It's happening a lot faster than I thought it would."

At that moment Sakiri walks outside.

"Kokoto...?"

Kokoto is startled and immediately reverts to his normal body.

"Kokoto what's wrong?"

"Nothing."

"That wasn't nothing what was all over your body and why were you in that form?"

"So you saw those?"

"Yeah. What are they?"

"They're..."

"They're what."

"They're cracks."

"Cracks from what?"

Kokoto hesitates.

"I'm..."

"Your?"

"I'm dying."

Sakiri starts to cry

"w-what... this is some sort of sick joke right?"

"No."

"How...why?"

"Because humans can't handle the powers of hundreds of gods. One maybe, but not hundreds. I'm surprised this body has lasted this long. I can regenerate in my demonic state so every night I repair my body the best I can. But it's not a permanent fix. Every time I fight and I have to use a god's power I weaken the body."

Sakiri is still crying

"w-w-why didn't you say that before. Were you ever going to tell me?"

"No. I wasn't expecting to ever make friends, for this exact reason. That's why I was rude to you all the time. I was hoping I would piss you off so much that you would avoid me but that didn't happen."

Sakiri continues crying

"There has to be something you can do."

"Unless I can find one of the few gods that are still alive and get them to properly make me a body there's nothing."

"Why can't we do that?"

"Because of the few that are left, there's only one that has the power to make me a body."

"Which ones that?"

"Not a god that I currently have the power to face."

"But I thought you have the power of hundreds of gods."

"Yeah but it takes the power of around 300 high-teir gods to send a single peak teir god to Earth. And it takes the power of 2 peak teir gods to banish other peak teir gods to the abyss. So the entity that released me from the abyss, sent me to Earth and even put me and hundreds of other gods of all tiers into a single human body is not someone I can fight. Especially not with my decaying body."

"Entity?"

"What?"

"You said entity, not god. Why?"

"Simple. No god has that much power."

"Then what does?"

"I have no clue."
