3 Chapter 2- The beginning of a new life

Our MC woke up early in the morning. He was about to get out of bed when he noticed a bump in the sheets. He instantly got nervous for the bump was too large to be a pillow.

He slowly lifted the blanket and,"Gyaaaaaaah!!!" The girl was sleeping next to him. The shock he got almost gave him a heart attack but it soon resided when the girl's eyes slowly opened. She just gave him a smile and said " good morning."

"Why are you sleeping beside me?"he asked hoping that nothing happened between them last night.

"Don't you remember? You invited me to drink last night and you passed out. I brought you back to your room and you begged me to stay beside you."

He thought "Crap! What have I done?" he never slept with a girl before because he's always been a virgin but he never imagined it to be this embarassing.

"I'm sorry." he said while bowing his head.

"I don't mind. Plus, if you really did something to me last night, then you wouldn't have woken up." the girl said with a smile but a cold tone.

"Y.... yeah" Kazuki can't think of anything else to say. He was so scared on how is it possible to talk in a cold voice while smiling.

After clearing all misunderstandings, they changed clothes and went to the guild. As they opened the door, a tall man wearing full body armor stopped them.

"Hey kid! Nice girl you got there."The man looked at the girl beside Kazuki with eyes full of lust. This made Kazuki a little uncomfortable.

"Oh! Uh...she's my friend." he answered hoping that the man will leave.

"Leave her here and I'll make sure to spare you." he said in a threatening tone.

"Sorry but, I can't do that." Kazuki cared for the girl. After all, he would like to have more cookies that the girl baked.

"What did you say?!" the man thought Kazuki was mocking him and his temper rose.

The man punched Kazuki's face and he fell to the ground. The moment a drop of his blood hit the ground, a red magic circle started to appear and a scythe was formed.

"Wh...what is that?" the man realized that he messed with the wrong person.

This was no longer the weak brat that he punched. His eyes were red and his voice was deeper. The aura around him also darkened.

"This is the scythe formed from my blood and shadow. It is the true form of the abyss." Kazuki declared.

"D... don't get cocky brat!" the man tried to hit Kazuki with a sword but he disappeared in front of him.

"Your sins will be paid by your blood." the man startled when he heard Kazuki's voice. Thats when he realized that he was behind him.

The onlookers could only see Kazuki's shadow when suddenly, the man's head dropped to the ground and his blood was floating in the air. Kazuki raised his scythe and the blood was absorbed. The girl's jaw dropped and the surrounding people fled. A few seconds later the scythe was enveloped by dark clouds until it completely disappeared and Kazuki went back to his senses.

"Uhhhh.....my head hurts." he didn't really remember what happened. The last memory he had was that the man punched him and he lost consciousness

The girl rushed towards him all worried and hugged him. This sudden action made his eyes go wide open. He always thought that this would never happen to him and it will only be in video games but he was wrong.

"Are you alright?" the girl cried.

"Y...yeah. Just a little dizzy."

"Good."she felt a little relieved knowing that she was the cause of what happened today.

They proceed inside the guild and a woman with bunny ears greeted them.

"Good morning sir! Pyon!" her weird pattern of speaking was actually pretty cute.

"Gahhhhh!"

There it is folks. One of Kazuki's weakness. No! Every otaku's weakness. Cute girls in cosplay except, this is not cosplay. (>w<)

"Nice cosplay" Kazuki tried to compliment her but she seemed to not have understood. Kazuki thought "perhaps that's because I didn't add a pyon in the end."

"I'm sorry sir but....what is a cosplay pyon?" Kazuki could not believe in what he's seeing right now. A real life bunny girl is standing in front of him.

"Huh? Aren't you a cosplayer?" he asked to verify his conclusion.

"I'm afraid I'm not sir." the bunny girl said in a disappointing tone. She thought that a cosplayer is a strong type of adventurer or another job. "I'm a demihuman." she added.

Staaaaaaaaaaaaare.

He sensed an uncomfortable glare behind him. He turned around and saw the girl's darkened face. A really dense MC. (QwQ)

"Hey Kazuki. Let's just register and leave." the girl suggested.

"Ye.....yeh."
