2 The Key

Shaya was standing in the woods all alone. Her parents told her to wait there and left. She just stood there, not knowing how long. It started to get dark and cold. Having realized that her parent's had left her there made her sick to the stomach.

Shaya decided to just lay on the ground and get some sleep. Sometimes you just feel too tired to do anything. Falling asleep in the forest is not the best idea, but what else could she do? The forest was big and easy to get lost in. Shaking she fell asleep cold and scared, not knowing if she would survive the night.

Moments later she was awakened by the ground shaking, and giant winds blowing away trees. Good thing she was behind a giant tree that luckily stayed put in the ground. If she wasn't behind this tree she would have blown away with most of the other trees. She was screaming, she was shaking...and she was scared. She didn't know what was happening.

Tears started dropping from her eyes. Then suddenly everything stopped. There was no more wind and the ground stopped shaking. After a few minutes Shaya calmed down and wiped her eyes, getting rid of the tears. She stood up on wobbly legs and leaned against the tree for support.

Taking a deep breath Shaya looked around the corner of the tree, and she could not believe what she was seeing. All of the trees were blown away so she had a perfect view of the Giant Golden Key that was stuck in the ground. She knew it was a key because the piece that was sticking out was the shape of a key.
