You really don't like him?

"Ice Flower!"

A handsome dark-haired man in ebony coloured robe stepped forward with a smirk on his face. His arms was lifted and wide apart as he tried to hug Yin, but was stopped by her Ice Sword who pointed at his chest.

"Woah, watch it, will you? It would be such a shame if you accidentally cut open this young man's chest." He put his hand over his sternum and shook his head in disappointment.

"Even if I know you are eager for this young man's heart, you still don't need to show this degree of eagerness. As long as you ask, it's yours."

The Ice God let her weapon dissolve when she recognised who the annoying man was.

Seeing this, he threw himself over her but was hindered midway. His entire body crashed into an Ice Barrier, which had been created from the dissolving essence of the Ice Sword. Its coldness caused his skin to momentarily freeze, before it was back to normal. He set his feet on the ground again before dusting off the frost formations on his clothes.

"You have progressed considerably, Ice Flower! The temperature of your ice should almost be enough for you to be classified as a Dry Ice user. " He was extremly delighted over the discovery.

"Who would have thought that a 1256 years old God would have almost reached a state which per norm requires about 150 000 years of cultivation? It's truly impressive."

Yin ignored the talkative man and let her barrier down before walking away.

When he saw this, he immediately followed behind and pestered her along the way. A strange deja vu feeling struck the Ice God as she remembered a similar scene the same day in the Celestial Royal Garden. Then it had also been a cheerful dark-haired man who acted like her tail and chatted unceasingly. He looked at her with that warmth in his eyes that seemed to warm her since long frozen heart.

What was she thinking? Didn't she promise herself to cut off all these unneccesary feelings?

She dug her nails into her palms in wish for the pain to sober her up.

The dark-haried man was constantly observing Yin and sensed that she was bothered by something, even though she seemed quite unbothered. He guessed that it was most likely about the Fire God Yang, who was the last person he had seen her together with. He had witnessed the entire confession made by the Fire God and the rejection. As a fellow male, he felt sympathy for him and thus couldn't help but inquire about the situation.

"So... I saw the cruel way you left the pitful Fire God Yang by the sea."

At the mention of Yang, Yin's nails penetrated her skin and drew blood. Still, her footsteps didn't falter as she continued forward.

"You really don't like him?"
