59 Ordona

Waking up at the sight of the morning, Mew became startled when a radiating but see through goat was staring at him. Staring at the goat wide eyed, Mew leaned backwards a bit too much as he fell down the tree. Stopping just before hitting the ground, Mew giggled at his own actions.

"Oh strange creature from the far beyond, I ask of you for help."

The goat began as it lowered itself a bit till it rested on the ground.

"I am the spirit of light Ordona, on of the four spirits residing in Hyrule. A darkness is threatening our lands and only the hero clad in green can stop it."

Feeling strange after hearing these words, Mew couldn't help but think about a certain genre of manga and novels the student of Koro-sensei liked to read.

"The hero is not strong enough. Please help him on his quest."

Ordona said.

Recognising this whole thing from the Isekai genre Mew had glance through once or twice, Mew was surprised to see it happen to himself.

'Eh, do I have to? But it's not fun at all.'

Mew said completely serious. After all, the whole reason Mew traveled about was to have fun and see new things.

"You are not obliged to accompany the hero throughout his journey. Just give aid when he is in need of help."

Ordona said as she could imagine the creature wouldn't help if suddenly asked.

'I'll think about it if it seems fun or entertaining.'

Mew responded as he left the spring towards the black wall towering high in the direction of the Faron forest.

***

After passing through the wall, Mew was met with monsterous plants, the strange goblins, and radiating bugs again. Sighing at the sight, Mew went towards a clearing again, feeling the same feeling as when he talked to Ordona.

Hanging in the air was a faint glowing light. Intriguid yet knowing there was trouble to come from it later, Mew came closer as he observed the glowing orb clearly. What he didn't expect was for the light to brighten and the darkness to disappear. Squinting his eyes, the surroundings had become as bright as day as the filthy monsters and black flakes had disappeared.

Standing behind Mew was a youth with elf ears wearing a green tunic.

'Ah, so this is the hero in green Ordona mentioned. Though I get the feeling he is more like a wolf.'

Mew though as the youth stared at Mew.

After that came a whole story told by the spirt Faron, a monkey, about dark magic hidden across the world, hidden away by the light spirits

To be honest, Mew was bored.

The youth didn't seem to care the journey was dangerous as determination was clear in his eyes.

The youth soon left, while Mew went to roam about in the forest.
