Demon

"Metatron, have you found any irregularities?" the voice asked booming with authority yet restraint.

"Yes, judging by previous patterns and the current ones, there should be no reason to worry" the voice was filled with confidence and wisdom.

"Yes, I hope so. Nothing should go wrong this time as well with the sealing" the voice continued.

"Raphael, do not stress so much. We have deployed warrior angels all over so nothing should go wrong. Even with the seal loosening, the demons should not be able to use it to cause chaos" another feminine voice cut in but you be a fool to think of this being as female.

"That's only if the Archdaemons don't make a move" another added.

"Those aren't the only ones we have to be careful of" a fifth added.

Raphael's eyes shone with a burning fire as his grip on the hilt of his sword tightened as the leisure in the being with a feminine voice disappeared.

"Come now, Selaphiel, the 7 fallen have not moved since their fall. So we do not need to worry about them" Metatron added.

"Let's hope so" the feminine voice whispered as Metatron stood up.

There were 8 beings gathered in this vast hall whose floor was made of such pure gold that it was transparent with the walls adorned in white and the occasional shimmering of gems.

They were the highest of all. Raphael, Michael, Selaphiel, Gabriel Jugudiel, Uriel, Barachiel and Metatron.

Well Metatron is more of an archivist.

They were the Archangels, the breath of God.

They surrounded the stone tablet Metatron was busy on.

"It's ready, you know what to do" Metatron instructed.

The 7 beings all laid their hands on the tablet and their eyes let out an intense white glow as they started chanting in the language of angels in unison.

A holy energy coursed through their bodies as their hair turned as white as snow and gathered on the tablet. The tablet turned into a vortex of holy runic symbols and finally shot through the floor of gold in a beam that made it's way to earth when Metatron shouted in panic,

"Wait! Stop!"

"Dammit! How dare those bastards leave me in the middle of the desert!" Ca'en swore in his mind.

He isn't someone who easily loses it but he had been trekking through the desert for an entire day and night for 3 days now to the point where his already black skin got burned even blacker.

The school term had just begun and he started settling in the dorm when he caught the attention of 1 of the top rich kids. They started treating him like 1 of them even inviting him to their gatherings and stuff, it made him wonder why they treated him so well but well you eat the food that's on your plate.

They invited him to skydive with them in the Sahara and he accepted even though he hates heights.

"Ca'en, you can go first" Rayan said though it was more of a command than anything else.

Ca'en wanted to refuse but he wasn't given any chance as they strapped him up and brought him to the exit.

"I believe you know when to pull?" 1 of them asked and Ca'en nodded.

'God, what the heck am I doing here?'

'Should I just tell them no? Yes, I should just tell them I don't want to anymore' these thoughts were running through his mind when he felt a push on the back.

He heard laughter coming from the back as he fell with the wind in his face and forced himself to turn and look while panicking.

'That wasn't necessary was it?!' his eyes asked when he was met with the look of destain from the people who were supposed to be his friends.

'Know your place' that's what he read from their eyes and that's when it hit him.

'This bastards... Why didn't I see it...' he felt bitter as he watched them walking back to their sits.

N'gga been played.

He was cussing all the way down as he deployed the parachute and felt awful as he watched the jet speed of in the distance.

He finally reached the ground without even realizing it as his eyes were shut at some point causing him to sprain his leg.

"Dammit! Dammit!" he cussed holding his leg.

'I should just wait for them here, I'm sure they won't just leave me here' he calmed down and reassured himself but somewhere in the back of his mind he knew those bastards weren't coming back.

He sat in the blazing sun under the cover of the parachute when he started feeling thirsty so he started rummaging through the back and found 6 energy bars, 3 energy drinks,3 bottles of water and a compass with a note tied to it.

'This f'krs planned this sh't!' he felt bitter as he read it.

'This supplies should last you 6 days. Follow the compass and arrive quickly. I've placed a lot of money on you arriving in 4 days. P.S: an ant can never be king. It's time to repay my favour'

That's when it truly sank in 'no wonder they treated me so well... I was just a toy in Rayans eyes... No background, got here through hardwork and I don't even have family so nobody will cause a fuss if something were to happen to me... Heeeeeeiiiiggghhhh' Ca'en felt bitter at this revelation.

'No worries, it's not like I haven't been used before, I just need to get back, cut ties with them and work hard to get rich then I'll pay all those bastards back!' he kept his fury calm and started trekking north, the only direction on the compass.

He'd been an orphan as long as he could remember and wasn't the smartest of people but he had something that very few have: A raging tenacity. That's the only way he got to where he is today. If it took others an hour to understand swimming it'd take him 3, if it took them 1 lesson to comprehend then it'd take him 3 lessons. That's how bad his mental capacity is and that's why he was prone to misfortune but his tenacity put him on par with geniuses. He would hammer whatever he didn't understand more than anyone else until those 3 hours turned to one. That's how he got into 1 of the best schools and well ended up in this situation.

The sun rose with blazing fury and retreated with unsettling cold but he kept on walking and now he was only left with a bottle of water and an energy bar. Hadn't even noticed until now due to walking in an almost hypnotic state telling himself 'I will let this mold me' when he felt tired and decided to rest but ended up falling asleep making him look like a dead person to anyone who would see him as even his breath turned unbelievably shallow.

He had been sleeping peacefully when he was woken up by a sudden noise coming from the compass. It started spinning fast pointing every where and suddenly exploded!

"No!"

There was no way to get back without the compass!

"Aye, God do you really hate me so much?! Huh?? Screw you then! If you want to kill me then just do it, there's no reason to make me suffer so much!" he yelled, the bitterness he felt for everything that happened in his life suddenly found an outlet.

Born with no family, poor and a lacking in talent.

That's when it happened.

The ground beneath his feet suddenly gave way to a pitch black tunnel that gave off a horrible fear.

It was so black yet you could see bursts of fire spiralling inside and an awful smell of sulphur danced with the smell of burning flesh. There was menacing laughter and agonizing screams coming out from it.

Ca'ens face paled.

"God! No! I was just ranting! Forgive me!" heis to think that letting loose just once would send to that place!

'I would've kept my mouth shut if I knew this was going to happen!'

Ca'en may be dumb but he was no fool, he knew what that place was, everything with a soul will instinctively know to get away from that particular place. Why you may ask? Simple.

Hell.

That's what that place was, the hell of legends and myths.

He was panicking, trying to grasp anything he could to keep from falling in when he plunged his hands into the tunnel wall.

It wasn't made of anything solid and was moving between tangible and intangible with black energy coming off of it causing him agony as it climbed up his hands.

Normal people would've let go but that's where his tenacity came into play. He knew letting go meant a fate worse than death so he clawed his way up with the energy eating him as he went.

The pain became so unbearable that he blacked out but his body kept on climbing by pure instinct as if it knew to stay away from that place.

The dark energy moved and slithered around his body seeping into every cell and causing fundamental changes to his being. Parts of his DNA twisted and broke down being replaced by pure black energy. His already black skin turned blacker such that there was no difference between him and charcoal.

His lean muscles expanded to hulking size before compressing. His bones melted before reforming and becoming unbelievably dense and started producing black blood cells.

The skeletal frame became taller almost reaching 2m tall as his blood vessels compressed before becoming enlarged allowing more black blood to pump.

His heart became stronger and enlarged with each cycle causing pure power to pump.

His brush cut hair grew to waist length and his nails turned into devilish black metallic claws with flaming tips that could rip the very fabric of existence each time it pulsed.

Three 3m wide pairs of demonic black wings grew on his back with each feather unsheathed like an abysmal sword. The first pair covered his face, the 2nd were spread out while the last covered his legs.

His eyes turned as dark as the tunnel and his body had runic symbols all around glowing with a sinister and lava like lines run all around his body as if he was born like that..

He was floating above the abyss when he finally came to. He felt unbelievable power running rampant inside. He could sense anything within a 1000km radius and see them as if he was standing right in front of it. He felt like he could do anything but also felt the urge for destruction. He lifted his pinky and pointed into the distance causing a black hole that swallowed the distance up leaving a black burned stretch of land when it disappeared almost making it look like that area had been seared up cleanly before disappearing.

He was relishing this feeling when his 6th sense,no it was beyond it, it should be called a 7th sense told him to flee from where he was ,as if he was facing a natural enemy. A white beam shot straight down at him just as he was about to flee putting him through agony.

It was the holy beam send down by the angels!

It was as though he was suddenly thrown into a frying pan as parts of his body started to disintegrate as the two energies fought. The holy light felt comfortable yet terrifying agonizing at the same time as it passed through his DNA.

It was trying to suppress the demonic DNA as the holy runic symbols covered it while the rest of it went into the abyss with the beam. His last remaining human DNA started breaking down as it was replaced by the holy light. The 2 energies started to wrestle for dominance and the holy light was winning when the beam started dying down.

Ca'ens body instinctively started drawing energy from the Abby's and suppressed the holy light causing the 2 enemy energies to fuse but with the demonic energy ruling.

The holy light as though snaring 'you haven't won!' gave 1 final push before dying down. This pushed sealed more demonic DNA causing 2 pairs of wings to shrink back inside, the totally black eyes hid a holy light and his skin turned back to brown before turning almost pale silver as though a corpse

His being was still pulsating with might but not as much as before. It seemed that most of his abilities were were sealed and the body was trying to break the seal by drawing more energy from the abyss when he got that feeling telling him to flee again.

'Shit! It's that feeling again! I should run!' he didn't waste any time and flapped his wings, immediately covering 1km when he dogged to the side abruptly.

fiiissshh...

The place he was at previously had 50m wide burn mark causing the sand to look glazed.

"Hey, that's dangerous! You almost killed me!" he turned up and yelled but froze when he saw the 3 beings gathered up there.

DANGER! FLEE!

That's what his instincts screamed as if they would have done it if they could themselves.

The 3 had 3 pairs of wings like he previously did and were booming with might causing the air to quake and distort around them. Each of them were covered exactly like he was previously by his wings except their wings were an unnatural white, a white that has never existed in the human world.

They gave off the exact opposite of him. If he was like a never ending darkness then they were the darkness that could banish him.

"Wh.. Who are you people?" he asked but in his mind he already knew the answer.

6 freaking wings! He'd be a fool to not know what he was dealing with.

"Demon, to think a noble demon like you would try to escape hell when even the Archdaemons know their place" the feminine voice was cold. Actually all of them seemed like they had know emotions.

"De.. Demon? I'm not a demon!" Ca'en quickly refuted.

'Demon? Screw that I'm human!'

"Michael, there is no need to listen to a demons deceit." Raphael spoke with burning flames in his eyes, hiding his fury.

Gabriel drew his sword ready to strike when Michael spoke again.

"No throw him into the great divide. He seems like a newborn prince. We'll use this to show those newborns their place, they think because they sit on their thrones in that desolate place that they are kings pathetic"

'Shit! No!' Ca'en started panicking. He knew it must be way worse in the Great divide if they chose it to make an example out of him.

Sweat trickled down his spine looking for ways to escape when he felt the weight of the world weigh down on him suddenly.

"Where do you think you're trying to run to vermin!" Raphael merely looked at him and he couldn't move even an inch!

Gabriel Swung his sword and a tear appeared in the void.

"Get rid of him quickly, we need to go strengthen the seal before the other demons move "Michael instructed.

Raphael stretched his hand out and Ca'en felt like someone was strangling him when he got tossed through the tear like a rag doll.

'God why this thing now eh?' those were his last thoughts as he plunged into darkness
