My Cold Is Getting Worse

Hey Journal, It's me April Lee. It's been about two weeks since my last entry, so I suppose there's a bit we need to catch up on. I know it's been awhile but hey give me a break I'm still getting used to this whole writing on a daily basis, with time I'll get used to it... hopefully. Anyways so the last two weeks have been anything but eventful. All I have done is school, sports, homework, and repeat. Basketball season has just recently ended which I am quite sad about. One plus to the end of the season is that soccer is starting now, my favorite sport! Speaking of soccer I have practice today which I am beyond ecstatic for. Anyways, In my last entry I mentioned that I was sick with some type of cold. I have continued to be sick and have come nowhere near improving. If anything I have become sicker. I went to the Doctor again and it was discovered that I have many different problems. I have strep throat at the moment and also a double ear infection. Doc gave me more medicine but I have taken all of it and nothing has improved. I seem to be getting ear infections and strep throat several times on and off. My mom, Elizabeth, believes that I could be sick with strep throat, a ear infection, and something else that has yet to be discovered, which would explain why I'm not getting better. The last few weeks I've continued to get more and more exhausted. I physically feel not only tired but weak. Every time i walk I feel like a large weight is pushing down on my chest making it hard to breathe. I'm also always unusually cold. I feel like it's the coldest of winter when it's only in the high 40s, which is nowhere near as cold as it feels. It's quite hard to explain to you how I feel but I can tell you one thing. I have begun to become quite nervous. I know it's probably nothing to worry about but i guess with how much my mom is showing her concern it's begun to make me rather worried. At the moment I'm just trying to keep my mind at ease with school and trying not to worry too much. Hopefully in the near future we will finally discover what is going on with me so that I can put my mind at ease. I hope soon all will be discovered because It's going on 4 weeks that I have been sick. Its been fun but for now it's time to go. Its time for Soccer practice and they can't wait all day.
