The consensus of historians is that Jesus existed. If it is true that they discovered Caiaphas' remains, such discovery neither add to nor subtracts from such consensus. Since, regardless of whether Jesus was real of imaginary, naming a really existing person known to many bolsters neither of these two scenarios. Like I would be claiming that Pete J. Einstein existed.
