4 Ice Magic Is OP

Reviewing all the information korir found that the previous gift he got was a very large shortcut to learning this magic. With his true Nord bloodline he can effectively negate any backlash of learning the spells.

And the best part of the entire thing is that nords will have to come to him to learn magic because of 2 main reasons.

One, only nords will have the required magic resistance to survive spell backlash.

Two, the magic can help elevate a nords bloodline to give them a higher ice/cold resistance until their own bloodlines evolve into a true Nord bloodline.

It seems to him that the only reason it is called the frost elf inheritance is because elves of another world developed it to evolve into ice elves.

And from further research he found out that he could even help kajit and argonians evolve their own bloodlines, however the inheritance doesn't state what they will evolve into as only humans and elves have tried the magic in its original world.

Now he had a lure that will attract a population to his hold, the next steps are to build infrastructure for them to live and have something that will keep them here to help them learn the magic.

His next meeting with his advisors is in a week until then he had to come up with a viable plan for developing the hold and develop his magic to a point where he won't be threatened by the college once he starts revitalising winterhold.

So first he started with the ice magic inheritance.

He split up the entire spell arsenal into levels resembling the magic system of the continent. It is split up into similar schools of the same names and levels from beginner to master.

It took him 4 days to copy useful spells of each school of magic from the beginner level because of how complex some of them were.

He enchanted the books using enchanted ice that is the result of the great collapse. He found some in winterhold using his winterhold map he got as a starter gift.

The enchantments will attack anybody that hasn't already learned a novice spell from the book. This is a security measure he added, and plans to add to any frost magic books so students of a lower level cant just learn master level spells without being being allowed to by a teacher.

This will hopefully reduce the number of magic accidents novices at frost magic will make in the future.

Using the system shop he even found a stone that can be bought for 1 million gold that would evaluate a magic talent of a person and then automatically teach them their first spell.

Even if he can't afford the stone now, in the future he plans to use both the stone and enchanted books to make sure that the minimum amount of apprentices of this magic die. Because even without the safeguards the magic is dangerous to the caster.

Over the first 4 days he also practiced the ice magic of the system a lot and found a lot of spells that are so useful he wont be teaching them to anybody

[magic – frost tree growth

Effect – grows large trees made of ice that produce fruits that can temporarily increase frost resistance

- Once fully grown trees can be harvested for enchanted ice that can be used instead of souls for enchanting

Requirements – requires a large amount of magical ice for the sapling to start growing

- Requires a large mana pool to accelerate the growth of the saplings]

The first spell will provide a resource that will be very sought after once the magic is revealed to the world. The fruits will be the only thing that can allow a person to reach 100 percent frost resistance because even enchantments provided all over the world by magic institutions can only provide 75% resistance maximum.

This fruit will be another thing he will use to keep control of the magic because none of the elves or any other race will attempt the magic if they can't guarantee that they will survive. Because nobody wants to risk their heart getting frozen

Another spell he will keep hidden is

[magic – Grand Architecture

Effect – Grow move and transform, any structure can be built from ice as long as the caster has enough magic power

- Once a structure is formed from ice it will be sustained by the magic in the atmosphere

Requirements – requires a large amount of magical and nonmagical ice for the structure to be formed

- The more powerful the Mages inside the structure the more the structures can grow and evolve if allowed to]

From the information in the spell, it can be seen that anybody that casts this spell will have to consciously restrict the structures growth.

The spell was clearly designed for large magic organisations to have a place to live that will always accommodate the mages. However, with the spell also came information that as the mages stop living there the structure will collapse.

Apparently, this happened in the world the magic was from and almost destroyed a continent as it collapsed. That's why during the building of any structure with this spell he is planning to restrict its growth even if it will take more magic to do so.

However even with that restriction he still has a lot of plans of magical architecture he can use to create the grandest and most powerful magic towers and buildings and use them to show the world his power when the time comes.

As he sorted the magic out the magic he found out how the bloodlines of the users are improved. It turns out that as you cast higher and higher spell levels your frost resistance improves. And once somebody masters the magic they become immune to ice and their bloodline evolves.

Another reason for separating the magic into different levels was just for this, so that anybody who practices it has a chance to evolve and show how much better the frost magic is from Tamriel magic.

With this he could convince anybody to come practice it.

With only 3 days left until the meeting korir decided to finally look at the summoning part of the system.
