11 Lost

Jeff was holding his team in a tiny room, fighting off hoards of aliens. Vanessa was sitting back giving her ammo to Hakim and Andres as Jeff paced himself around the room.

"Where are they?" yelled Jeff.

"We are not going to find them by sitting here Jeff" replied Andres.

"Okay, Andres. You keep saying that. But we need to find Dani and Logan before we do anything" said Jeff in a sarcastic tone.

Andres only got angrier as he started shouting "be a leader! Move! Dani nor Logan would ever just sit there! No other team just sits there! You are literally the only one who thinks we are going to find our teammates by sitting in a random room! Not even a safe room of any kind. Just a random room in the midst of a giant space ship! God"!

Vanessa watched as the feud broke out when a bomb was heard. The aliens redirected their attention down the hallway as multiple gunshots were heard. It sounded like a machine gun. Andres and Hakim moved more towards the center of the room for safety.

The gunshots grew louder as they approached the door to the room. A girl in all black armor passed by firing down the hallway.

"Damn it," said Jeff under his breath.

"We found The Wild Bunch," said a girl in purple armor following the girl in black armor.

A much taller thick girl in red armor poked her head in the room. Her face-covering slid back, revealing a long-haired Dominican of a cappuccino complexion.

She looked around asking, "Is Dani here"?

"We lost her with Logan and our new girl," answered Hakim.

She kissed her teeth.

"Who are you guys?" asked Vanessa.

"The Paragon Sisters," answered the girls in red and purple with two fingers held up.

A fourth girl standing less than 5 feet tall in pink armor poked her head in and yelled, "Dani"!

"She's not here" answered the girl in red.

Finally, a fifth girl in blue appeared and took charge. "Alright well hurry up and come on if you want to be saved".

Jeff immediately rushed everybody to start following the girls. Andres objected, but Jeff scolded him on their lack of options. The two boys reluctantly listened to their leader and followed the sisters.

The Paragon sisters led the fight going down the many hallways on the ship. They fought aliens at a rapid rate and moved so fast that the four members of The Wild Bunch could barely keep up.

"Who are these girls? Their fighting and formations is amazing," thought Vanessa as she continued to run down the hallway with her team.

Soon the Paragon Sisters had entered a cafeteria-like room where they had spread out for 180-degree security around the entrance. Each girl sounded off "clear" as they searched the room for potential aliens.

"Where did the aliens go," asked, Vanessa.

"There is something most likely scaring them away," answered Hakim.

Everybody stared around the room to see if there was anything other than muck on the ground. Sadly, nothing of use was found. The girl in red looked over at a figure move along the walls. She instantly shot her gun at the creature.

Upon being hit, the alien lost its camouflage and rose to its feet causing The Paragon Sisters to begin firing at the alien. The Wild Bunch began doing the same, yet the bullets were having no effect. The giant alien swung its tail and beat its claws at each of the Paragon Sisters until it finally grabbed the Paragon Sister in light purple armor.

"Nunu," yelled the Sister in red towards her sister as the alien pulled her towards its mouth.

Just before the alien was going to eat Nunu, a barrage of bullets hailed from a walkway into the alien in its head. The alien dropped Nunu and faced the giant .50 caliber machine gun firing on it.

Logan launched explosives with his grenade launcher. On the .50 cal, itself was Jaivva with Dani as her A-gunner. The rest of The Wild Bunch was out of ammo and the Paragon Sisters had escaped. The entire room had blown up shortly after.

Before Jaivva realized it, she took a massive headache along with a massive burn on her skin. The ship was now a clean dark studio with security standing in the distance.

"They did it again!" said Logan staring at Dani.

"What happened," asked Jaivva, "I was finally killing it. And we made a safe zone for everybody to go. You remember? Like we saved all those people".

Dani had spoken up, "Yeah. I don't know why my brother keeps trusting those girls. But they blew us up! And now we are dead. And it is late".

"Who," asked Jaivva in an agitated tone.

Logan explained The Paragon Sisters is an all-female group of superheroes that had a habit of wrecking things for others.

"So how do we get back at them," asked Jaivva.

"Next time we play we need to kill them," said Dani.

Jaivva smacked her hands and nodded her head, "Well next time let's do that even if your brother wants to be pussy-whipped. Sorry".

Dani and Logan both nodded in favor. Jaivva however, was concerned with their profits.

Logan guided her through a reality where they saw that Jaivva made over 5,350 player point and $400 in the couple of hours they were away from the team.

What shocked Jaivva more was that the money was real and to be deposited in three-business days. Dani of course was to show her how to properly spend the points and even change them for money. Jaivva's juicy lips fell in awe as she realized the potential this game had to fill up her real wallet as well as present a challenge.

"So this is a hustle and then some," whispered Jaivva.

"It's our hustle," said Dani.

Outside of the studio, it was nearly 5:00. Other teams were already making their way out as the studio was closing at 6:00.

"How was it," asked Vanessa.

"Girrrl, it was scary," answered Jaivva with her hands clapped, "But Dani helped me learn some stuff. And now I can use machine guns. Oh, Logan helped too".

Vanessa looked around, but Logan and Hakim were nowhere in sight.

"Yeah, I should have taken my studies a little more seriously," said Vanessa.

"It's okay," said Andres, "It happens. And it's important to remember it's just a game".

Jeff stood afar, mumbling under his breath. Dani kissed Vanessa, Andres, and Jaivva on each of their cheeks, wishing them good night as she left with Jeff to go home.

"Well, I think we all need to go as well. It is pretty late," said Vanessa.

"Don't forget to study," said Andres as he got in his mother's car.

The two girls laughed and hugged as they went their separate ways for another fun day.
