41 Impulse

Jaivva made her way deep into the forest when something shot at her. She spun around and struck down the white bird. Again she spun her blade to kill a second bird as well.

They were doves and there was a flock of them staring from the trees. Each dove bopped its heads as Jaivva fancied her double-bladed ninja sword around her hands.

The doves shot down like torpedos.

She spun her blade, "Fly Aetherus-Lightning".

Ten red birds made of lightning flew from her blade through the doves. They flew through the flock without further instructions.

Once the doves were dead, a spear was thrown at Jaivva's red birds. They each exploded.

Jaivva gripped her sword, "Crap".

An angelic man was grinning his way over. At first, he was barely noticeable aside from his pearly white teeth.

"Hey," she called, "I don't got all day now"!

His tight pants were sagging just below the waist. His smooth skin was darker than oak. He first tried to place in an illusion and failed.

Jaivva was clueless about his attempt. But when his godly white wing spread out, it was on.

"Just one," said the angelic man pulling out a katana, "An entire team and only 3 can withstand my illusion. 2 can actually stand unaffected by them. And only 1 can dispel them. Time to fall to the mighty sword of Impulse".

Jaivva raced towards him as he licked his katana.

She slammed her blade into him. But he backed away and parried.

The blow was strong enough to halt their perception of time. Jaivva could feel the strain in her muscles pulling in her back.

Jaivva faintly swung her blade a second time to launch 5 red lightning birds.

Impulse used his wings to defend himself as he jumped kicked Jaivva's head.

He spun for a second kick when two birds flew in and blew up his leg. Impulse fell down yelling about his leg.

Jaivva had avoided the explosion, "Pheonix Wing".

Five fire orbs rotated around her. Impulse sprang right back up to his feet and dashed towards Jaivva.

His flurry of kicks matched well with his katana and wings coming. She tried to parry, but it felt like three attacks were coming at every second.

Impulse shot a spear from his wings at an oncoming bird without disrupting his attacks. Before he knew it, a flame wall was formed around him.

Jaivva held up her hands, "Darkness".

A black arrow shot from her hands into Impulse. A heavy strain shot his eyes dark. The throbbing escalated to his head. His slander was that of an intoxicated Marine.

The flames kept Impulse in places. Jaivva drew in the remaining lightning birds into her palms.

She clapped them together before holding her right palm out. Slowly pulling the static back, a red lightning arrow formed into her palm.

A tight grip released the arrow right into Impulse's chest. Riffles were in the snow following the arrow's trajectory. Nearby snow fell. Impulse was shot out of the prison. Still grinning with a drive to beat this girl.

She ran up slicing her blade at his grin. His wings defended his kick that sent her upside down.

Catching her landing, she kicked impulse back into his thyroid.

She took advantage to get on her feet and stab a knife at him.

Impulse spun around to attack with his wings. She spun with him and stabbed the knife into his back.

He jumped and kicked her back. Coming down, he threw another spear her way. Upon landing near it paralyzed her.

Impulse pulled another spear out of his wings, coating it in magic, "You're Done"!

"Pheonix down," said Jaivva as Impulse threw his spear with every ounce of energy in his body.

The spear blew up in mid-air, knocking Jaivva out of the paralysis area.

She stumbled to her feet. Scrapes and scars covered her body. The aching pain in her body didn't stop her from making the snake hand seal to charge her magic.

Impulse was about to jump forward when many snakes made from earth bit at his foot and wrapped around his body. He tugged and pulled, but couldn't get away.

Jaivva only had a little bit of health from her phoenix down technique. She left her blade in the snow and pulled out a dagger. One last time, she ran towards Impulse.

Jaivva came directly up to Impulse with a full-on frontal attack. Impulse managed to free one arm to slash his katana at her.

Right when his sword was gonna cut into her, she jumped above. She rammed her dagger into his neck.

With her fall, she pulled out her dagger and fell into the snow with Impulse.

His blood squirted out. A human beating him was next to unbelievable. He gripped his neck and ran into her.

Hakim appeared just in time to freeze him. With Impulse completely frozen, he broke the ice in half to kill him.
