197 Chapter 190 - CAD

In a white room, there was a large door,

On the other side, Miyuki could feel Tatsuya's presence. She knew he was behind this door.

But what made her wonder was there another new presence behind the door.

"We messed up..." Mustang muttered, holding his waist as if trying to keep it from bleeding. (It wasn't since Miyuki froze it.)

Riza pulled him up, "don't talk." She pulled his body up, letting him rest against the door.

Mustang glanced upwards at Miyuki, "even with all your warning...it wasn't enough to face a Homunculus."

Miyuki stopped tracing the gate and turned around - her eyes fell on the Jean Havoc, fainted near Mustang's feet, "we all did..." She found it easy to deal with the Homunculus, but it seems that these things were more powerful than she assumed. Especially for normal humans(Alchemist).

But she didn't think they would end up like this, just dealing with one of them.

But that didn't matter - she just needed to get rid of Lust and then go help Onii-sama with whatever that monstrous presence was.

*Tap*Tap*Tap*

"So this is where you came to hide," Lust spoke, her nails became bigger, sharper, ready to attack.

Mustang stared at her, "You'll pay for what you did to Havoc."

Lust's eyes were staring at Miyuki, smiling - she glanced at Mustang for a moment, "and who'd make me pay...you? Or her?"

Miyuki frowned, looking around the room - there was too much light. Moreover, the moisture in the air wasn't enough for huge alchemy. This was the worst place to get in a battle.

"Create two swords for me," Miyuki whispered to Mustang while taking a few steps forward, "I'm surprised you are even here after what happened last time."

Lust chuckled, "I had to be here... to see you getting killed."

Abruptly, Miyuki felt her heartbeat loudly - she instinctively stepped away. A sledgehammer struck the place where she was standing a few moments ago.

Miyuki was caught by surprise - it was only because of the bloodlust that the attacker was letting out that she could save herself in the nick of time. She swiftly turned her body, kicking the back of the attacker's legs, but it turned to water. She felt like kicking a puddle in mid-air which turned into a solid. She crossed her hand in front of her chest, defending against the large hand that struck her, causing her body to fly backward.

Miyuki winced, feeling the pain in her hand, 'this will leave a bruise...'

She had just managed to put her foot down on the ground when she noticed a towering presence on her. Her eyes shrunk, realizing who it was. It was one of those four chimera's, but they weren't supposed to be this strong or have no presence at all. What was that power?

'Liquid then...' Seeing him swing the Sledgehammer towards her, with eyes filled with bloodlust. White lightning flashed on her right hand, a large pillar of ice appeared behind her pushing her forward. That stunt, she used all the moisture in the air near her, but it was enough.

Her right hand touched Roa, causing a sharp noise and flash of light. He inflated and turned into steam water vapors before even getting a chance to scream.

Huffing loudly, Miyuki moved her arms across the floor, struggling to get back on her feet.

"Be careful!!"

*Snap*Flames*

Mustang used his flame alchemy to throw flames at the man that was about to reach Miyuki. It jumped up the flames as if expecting them. Miyuki rolled her body, dodging the kick that fell on the floor, causing it to crack. *Bang*Bang*

By the time Miyuki got a good view of another attacker, the man had a bullet wound on his forehead.

"Here!!" Riza said, throwing the two short swords that Mustang created towards her.

Miyuki skillfully turned and caught both the swords from their hilt before facing Dolcetto, who attacked her again.

But even so, she could feel the drop of sweat dripping down her cheek. For once, she was on the losing end. There was one thing that was bugging her. She didn't see a Philosopher stone drop when she vaporized Roa.

When Ed and Al the lab three, even before entering, they could hear the gunshots, bursting flames, even the sound of two weapons colliding against each other.

They fastened their footsteps; as soon as they reached the large white hall, white light filled their sight.

When they stepped inside, Riza was on her knees, still shooting. Mustang was standing leaning against the wall, a transmutation circle etched on his hand.

Miyuki was standing in front of them, holding two short swords, surrounding by Lust and two other men.

"Miyuki!!" "Miyuki!!"

Ed and Al clapped their hands together at the same time and touched the floor.

Two pillars appeared from the ground, going to Dolcetto and Roa. But one of them passed throw Roa, who was liquid. Dolcetto moved aside the moment their hands touched the ground, dodging the attack.

Lust glanced back, bitting her long nail while she glanced, "Oh, the little ones are here..."

"DID YOU CALL ME STUPID LITTLE BEANSPROUT!!!!!" Ed shouted, pointing at Lust.

"Brother, I don't think that's what she called you..." Al said awkwardly while his sight was looking at Dolcetto and Roa. There was something about the two of them that he found weird.

Miyuki looked across the room, "Onii-sama?"

"He's fighting the weird guys who call themselves New generation Homunculus. Envy is also there, and the Father guy," Ed said with sweat dropping his cheek just thinking about it.

Counting the Homunculus here and more out there, on the surface...it was starting to feel overwhelming.

It was turning an all-out attack on the Homunculus, and they were losing.

Roa put down his Sledgehammer, talking for the first time, "fighting all of them at the same time. He is truly worthy of respect."

"Hmmm....well, if he wasn't capable of that, I'd be disappointed. Us being born with the sole purpose of subduing them and all." Dolcetto rubbed the back of his head. His eyes were on Miyuki, watching her like a hawk would her prey.

Watching Miyuki and the other two with a cold smile on her face, Lust turned her back towards them. She planned to take care of the Elric brothers that were running towards her.

Ed ran forward with a sphere in his hand, "As if that would work." Lust smiled, elongating her fingers she sliced, cutting it into pieces.

"Brother!" Al shouted in worry before performing a transmutation of his own, throwing a few pillars of stone at Lust. Ed used this chance to turn his right Automail into a blade, running over to strike Lust.

Al rummaged inside his armor, passing them by - strangely, Roa and Dolcetto didn't even try to stop him.

Al took out a mobile-shaped CAD that Miyuki was familiar with, but it had been so long she last saw it, "Here! Tatsuya secretly slid this inside my armor!"

Miyuki put down one of the swords, taking her CAD, "thank you..."

"What is it?" Al looked curiously, peeking glances at Dolcetto and Roa, who were waiting.

"An Alchemy booster." Miyuki took up the CAD. She had just heard of it from Tatsuya but didn't realize it was successful. This would allow her to use all her Alchemy's without drawing elaborately unique Alchemy circles for each of them in mid-battle.

With a smile on her face, she looked at Al, "get behind me - this will be over soon."

Dolcetto's eyes flashed, looking at her, "it seems you think you can win."

Roa raised his chin, "this would be much easier if you would just give up. We were asked to bring you alive, but if need be..."

Miyuki tapped the CAD a few times, pointing the CAD in front, "Niflheim!"

With a Transmutation circle flashing on the screen, Miyuki's hand that held CAD released immense silver lightning - A large mass of cold air covered the whole area.

Ed scampered backward, "Uwa, what is this?!" He ran, hiding behind the entrance of the room.

Lust happened to look back to see what happened but froze the next moment.

After a few moments passed, Ed carefully walked over, crossing the room, "what the hell..."

A familiar Colonel's voice entered his ears, "you can say that again..."

"Mustang?" Ed asked, confirming if it was really him. Shortly, a wide-eyed Mustang, Hawkeye, Miyuki, and Al appeared in front of him.

Miyuki leaned against the wall, wiping her sweat off, "thank you...the both of you came just in time."

Ed rubbed the back of his head, embarrassed, "well...we didn't do anything."

Mustang stared at the frozen statues of the Homunculi's, "are they dead?"

As if to answer his question Dolcetto and Roa opened their eyes, "Not...yet..."

Miyuki took up her CAD again, "Muspelheim!" Red mist across the area, burning everything down.

Roa turned into mist again - Dolcetto stood where he was unaffected by it.

Mustang stood up, "let me help."

He snapped, throwing his flames at Dolcetto, who stood there, his arms crossed, smiling.

"You really didn't think this would be that easy, did you..." Dolcetto spoke, surrounded by fire. Lust had already retreated from the room, she was the only one that this was effective on.

Ed's eyes twitched, "what are those things..." He wasn't the only one with that question.

Um...So I know bad timing. But the thing is I started writing an original novel. I was so scared of changing things or adding new things in the story, but the moment I did it. It was like a flood gate of creativity was opened.

I want to write this story and there are ways in which this and the original one are related too.

I feel I need to have experience of writing the original one to actually write this, you know.

So I have this month to write the original one...Next month are my exams for the last sem. and then I'll be taking a break from everything and just write.

By May, I'll start writing this again...Sorry for the long wait guys, and thank you for all the support you showed, it meant a lot and still means a lot...I mean will also mean a lot? Well, you get the picture :D Thanks ^_^.
