1 One Week before Halloween

Doug was getting ready for school when the door bell rang. he rushed to the door to see who I was but no one was there.

Doug looked down and saw an orange envelope. So he picked up and opened it. There was an invitation for a Halloween party at an old abandoned haunted house.

Doug wondered who sent him this invitation but there was no name.

He looked at his watch and said, " I going to be late."

He rushed and got his things. He locked the door and ran to the bus stop. He made it just in time because the bus was about to leave.

Once Doug got to school he forgot all about the invite.

In science class today the teacher had every one pair up with someone and work on a group project.

Doug paired up with his best friend Steven. They discussed what their project was going to be about. They decided the project was going to be about the global warming.

The rest of the morning went well. At lunch time everyone talking about the mysterious Halloween party they were invited to and wondering who the host was.
