9 CHAPTER-8 THIRD TEST

Fairy started explaining with ease "Inheritance is something left by its previous owner .It can be of 2 types ,one is related to mind and the other is related to body .The inheritance I am guarding is the first type.

Previous owner can leave anything that his successor need ,it can be medicines ,treasures, spirit fruits etc. My master has placed everything he saved in his entire life time in his inheritance".

Fin was satisfied with the answer and asked curiously "Then what is this ring?"

Fairy instead of answering him ,asked him to place a drop of his blood on the ring .Fin complied without hesitation.

Suddenly he was dumbfounded to find 4 cubic meters of space which contained so many fruits and books, clearly the space is inside the ring .Fairy casually told as if she has seen nothing abnormal "This belongs to you now .But I will keep it for you until you become stronger to protect it otherwise you will bring yourself a catastrophe".

Fin was glad for the first time after he met Fairy. Even though she was haughty at times she was kind to him. He expressed his sincere thanks to her .

Fin calculated that he needs to remain in the island for 2 more days to pass the test. So he remained in the island .In the mean time Fairy started her lecture "From now on you have to follow the path of immortality. When I say the path I meant everything from eating ,exercising. It should be according to my schedule. "

Fin nodded to her every conditions because he knew his path had been decided and there was no going back. He asked curiously "Fairy what did you mean by mind and body inheritance ?"

Fairy explained "There are 2 ways to become immortal ,one is to train your body to the extreme and the other is to open up your brain potential to hundred percent .First path is usually followed by martial artists which you don't have to worry .Second path can be followed by anyone but it is very difficult path compared to the body training path since increasing the level of your mind is very pain stacking process.You need access to many resources ."

Fin listened to her intently and understood many things .He asked curiously "Fairy are you telling me that you have opened up your 100 percent brain potential?"

Seeing his twinkling eyes ,Fairy didn't know how to explain. She coughed and ordered her words and said "We Fairies doesn't need to go through this mortal way of ascending to immortality .We are born to become immortals. All we need is some resources ".

Fin became stunned ,here he thought she worked hard to become immortal but it was so easy for her .Life was truly easy for some people ,who were lucky to born as Fairies .

Fairy could tell what he was thinking and became little embarrassed .Its not like she had any choice during her birth .It was natural and she was lucky .

Spider king was also trying to understand normal human language in the mean time .Fin was helping him whenever he got free time .

Time passed by and already 4 days were over just like that .Fin was to ready to call help and move to the outside world. Spider sat on the left side of his shoulder while Fairy on his right .Fin told help 3 times and suddenly he vanished along with Fairy and Spider.

Fin found himself in the test hall ,he checked for candidates .He found most of the candidates standing there .He was relived that at least he would pass without any problem.

Fairy and Spider king started looking here and there .For Fairy it was almost 1000 years to see so many humans .For Spider king it was his first time seeing so many humans .Fin was finding their expression funny but didn't disturb them.

After 2 more days ,test was finally over .Fin with the average score cleared along with Eva who stayed till 5th day.

Eva missed Fin so much .The first thing she did after coming out of the test was pouring all her frustrations on Fin. Fin nodded like a chicken . This time Fairy found it amusing ,she was enjoying Fin's expressions.

At that time in a secret room ,five family members were surprised that Fin's result was normal. Lisa became silent while Mike was laughing like a maniac "I told you it was just a pure luck".

On the other hand other general candidates of the group performed really well and lasted till 6th day.

Organizer found it strange that Fin lasted for only 4 days .His determination didn't waver though ,in fact it increased .If the student was perfect in every area ,there was no point in becoming his master as there was nothing left to teach. He waited for the 3rd test to over excitedly.

Organizer announced "Only 213 candidates have cleared the second test with above average score .Those who didn't clear please wait till the 3rd test. By chance if your unique skill is better ,then you have a chance to make it ."

Those who were already decided to leave were stunned and a new ray of hope emerged in their heart.Their parents also became happy .

"Third test is simple all you need to do is place your hand on the transparent crystal in the room for a minute.Your overall result will be available after this test"

Fin wanted Fairy to look into Eva's skill but there was no safe location. He only hoped that it should not be anything fancy otherwise there was no guarantee what the people inside would do.

Everyone went one by one to the room and came after sometime . When it was Fin's turn he hid his tier one skill and only showed the tier 2 skill.

In the secret room ,Lisa and others were noting down everyone's unique skills. Lisa was expecting Fin's unique skill to be extraordinary .But when Fin's result finally came Lisa was stupefied not because it was extraordinary because it was too ordinary .Mike on the other hand couldn't control his laugh.

It was beast language

Test crystal won't indicate the tiers of a skill ,it would just indicate the skill name .Tiers are assigned by the people depending on its utility and records. Lisa and others categorized beast language directly as tier 3 skill because they didn't have any data on this like Fairy did in fact no skill was ordinary in the world ,it was only people's perception .

Lets understand this by this, when humans got to know about skills ,they didn't know how to categorize .They only understood the skills superficially by their fancy names . Nobles wanted to created a clear demarcation between them and others ,so they created a classification. That resulted in tier 1 ,tier 2 etc. Common people didn't understand what it meant to have a skill while rich people started using their skills often which created data gap between the skills .Fin's skill is one such skill which didn't have any data.

Since one's skills could tell one's future growth Lisa was finding it hard to accept .She wanted him to make him as her right hand after giving him some inheritance but she gave up. She thought he was meant to be a mortal. She trained him personally but its all wasteful effort .After some thought she decided to wait some years before she could take her next action .

On the other hand Eva's skill pleased her very much .It was fire element which was very rare . This time no one argued and directly placed it in the tier 2 category.

Mike's generals both got tier 2 skills which put him in cloud 9 .Other generals were also didn't disappoint the judges .Many got tier 2 skills which satisfied them. They calculated the final result and placed on the institute server.

Fin and the rest waited for the result anxiously . Karl came to the Fin's side and said "After we enter the Gate lets meet up often .Since we know each other ,we should help out each other" .If Karl's parents were to hear this ,they would have opened their mouth that could fill an elephant .

Fin also noticed his change in attitude but he didn't care .Its always good to have one more friend than an enemy ,he simply nodded .Karl was satisfied by his performance and quickly glanced at Eva one more time before he left without saying a word.

Organizer announced the result and Fin ,Eva ,Karl ,Jessica were passed without any problem . Many who didn't pass the second test had cleared the overall test which resulted in burst of emotions .It was like a roller coaster for them .On the other hand some of the candidates who cleared the second test and was feeling smug ,found out that they didn't clear the overall test .They suddenly felt like they dropped from heaven to hell.

Fairy and Spider king were observing these scenes like watching a movie. They cheered for some people and felt sad for others . Fin didn't bother to participate in their fun .Eva on the other was very happy that she could clear the test with fin so, she was jumping with excitement .

Jessica on the other hand congratulated Fin .She left without saying another word which surprised Fin.

"In total 138 people entered the outer gate 2 this year ,which is slightly more than the previous year" .Organizing teacher started introducing the rules "Congratulations to all the candidates who cleared the test .You deserve to know my name . I am called as Joseph and in charge of the tests. Let me introduce you to the outer layer 2.

You will be given your own accommodation and you need not worry about grades in classes because no one will test you but if you stay in a Gate for more than 3 years ,you will be kicked out of the institute. All you have to do is prepare for the requirements of the next Gate .

Every year you will be given one chance to challenge a gate .If you pass the requirement you will automatically enter that gate and enjoy its facilities but if you fail ,you will be wasting your precious year and a chance . Normally students save their 3 chances and attempt the gates but it is up to you. When you reach the core area ,you will be getting your degrees.

There will be no currency in collage only points ,you can exchange it for anything here for example training facilities ,equipment ,books etc. Let me tell you how to earn points..
