CHAPTER-5 I AM THE PRINCESS OF FAIRYYLAND

As everyone entered the door ,surprisingly they didn't find themselves in a black room like earlier but an ocean .Yes ,they were in a small hand crank boat in the middle of an ocean. No one expected it.

Everyone remembered what the organizer told which was to survive as many days as possible. They looked inside the boat and found one day worth dry rations .Everyone hardened their heart to survive as many days as possible by eating less everyday.

Fin's brain was working unusually fast ,he didn't know why ,then he realized 'It must be related to the purple crystal'.Since Fin completed the first test ,he knew there was a chance that one could complete the second test too .

Everyone realized there must be an island nearby that may be the reason the boat was given .Then they didn't wait any longer and fanatically tried to find the island with all their energy but unfortunately no one did in the history of the institute.

Fin knew there was no point in finding an island since there was no map and water was there in all directions .If one found out north polar star they go northwards but what's the point ,there was no guarantee that they would find an island. In fact most of the students went in the direction of north polar star but they couldn't find even a piece of wooden log.

Fin's brain analyzed many possible scenarios in a fraction of second. After some time he finally got an idea and let out a wicked smile .He thought that the reward of the second test would not be any lesser than the first test .

If someone knew he was not planning for reward in the middle of an ocean while everyone was desperately was planning for survival .Fin would be beaten to death.

Fin didn't care what others thought ,he just didn't want to give up an opportunity .

He knew the only clue in the boat was one day worth dry rations, meaning there must be an island nearby which was one day worth travelling .Only problem was its directions.

He waited patiently looking at the sky intently munching his food. Suddenly he realized his dry was almost over. He didn't bother ,he just threw the covers and dusted of his cloths.

If someone saw this scene they would be flabbergasted ,since when did the test became a vocation !

After racking his brain so much ,he found another clue ,that was ,the location of the boat . 'Why did the boat stood there not anywhere else ,there must be a reason for it' he thought .

Midnight came but Fin didn't give up he continued to look into sky and waiting for something whereas by that time everyone in the middle of the ocean soundly fell asleep in the boat.

Suddenly a white bird emerged out of nowhere and was going in a certain direction .Fin's hard work finally paid off.

According to his analysis ,if there was really an island ,there must be birds coming to it .Even though the possibility was too low ,it was worth waiting.

White bird didn't bother to wait for Fin ,it flew in a certain direction .Fin hastily started chasing it with all his strength. The reason for him to eat all his dry rations was for this moment .He wanted to have as much energy as he could muster when the time came.

He had bet everything, his dry ration and his future carrier on a single thing that was to find the island no matter what and to get another reward .

Everyone would have thought his reasons were crazy because even if could find the island then found out there was nothing to eat or drink or no reward what's so ever then he would fail the test miserably

On the other hand others would at least survive for some more days because they have saved up enough rations for the next few days.

Fin knew those possibilities but he didn't care .If he wanted reward there was no way other than taking some risk. After getting the crystal and got summoned by the elders ,he was sure that the value of the rewards could even make elders go crazy nonetheless Fin .

White bird was going fast ,Fin was finding it difficult to chase by just manually rafting the boat.If he didn't eat properly he knew there was no chance of him enduring .He gritted his teeth and continued to raft like he had gone crazy .

After 6 hours ,finally he could see an island nearby .He let out a long sigh and screamed "Finally you damned island"

He forgot that he hadn't slept all day in the middle of excitement. He went to see what was inside the island. From some distance he could tell there were some trees but no buildings .

He thought to himself 'If there is nothing to eat or drink ,I am really doomed this time' He let out a self mocking smile.

As he approached the island ,he found nothing strange .He had seen islands in some books when he was tutored by the scientists so he had a ruff idea. He got off the boat ,carefully tugging the boat to a tree nearby and entered the island with some expectations .

There were so many trees in the island ,including coconut tree .If he wanted to get any coconut ,he had to climb the tree ,which he didn't know how to .He blamed the scientist to not teach him any practical skill.

So he gave up on that without even trying .His first target was to find something to eat ,then he could try to find the mysteries of the island .

"God is great ,finally ah" He laughed like a maniac in the middle of nowhere .

He finally found a banana trees which were reachable .He couldn't describe his emotions at that time ,finally his bet paid off .He need not had to worry about surviving at that point of time .

He devoured as much bananas as he can and stuffed as many as possible into his pockets .He was not satisfied . He looked everywhere and created an artificial rope .Then tied as many bananas he could like flowers on a string and hung it on his neck like a chain .

If Eva by any chance was to see him like this ,she would have died by laughing .

He finally started to look for 'mysteries' in the island .His brain started analyzing all possible scenarios and came to a conclusion .That white bird must be the key .So he was looking for white bird as he searched the island inch by inch.

Fin knew on an average if one solely depended on dry ration they could survive for 4 days .So he decided to leave the island after 4 days ,he didn't want to attract any attention next time. He was somehow finding the elders of the institute as access to everything .

He was sure they couldn't see him in the test otherwise they would have asked him the crystal right away .The fact that they had access to the results which no one had made him cautious .

He didn't find any creatures in the island except himself .He was tired for not sleeping 2 days continuously which made to climb a short tree as night approached and He slept like a baby without a care in the world.

His mind drifted to someone he talked to himself "I would what Eva is doing".

Eva was thinking the same thing in the middle of the ocean .She realized there was no point of finding an island and it might be a trap .So she controlled her temptation of rafting the boat

To survive more days she needed to control her hunger ,only way to do that was sleeping that could reduce the metabolism rate. She decided to eat minimum food and take nap as much as possible .

In-fact many candidates didn't even leave their urine .They treated it as their precious treasure. Eva on the other hand thought about it but quickly dismissed the idea like she was shooing an ugly crow .She found it disgusting and unsanitary.

When Fin woke up and looked around ,he found a beautiful fairy looking at him with her small hand on her mouth. She wore a violet frock ,there was white wings behind on her back and a staff on her right hand .She was so tiny that Fin could easily place her into his pocket

She looked like a picture just taken out of a book . He didn't know fairies actually existed in the world .He only read it in some fairy tales ,which he thought was only some kind of imagination .

Fairy was equally shocked just like Fin and said in a low voice "After thousands of years finally someone came"

Fin asked immediately "What do you mean by 1000 years ?"

Fairy looked at him for some time and gave a long sigh in her heart "Thousand years ego my master left me here for finding a future inheritor of his legacies. I have waited year after year , centuries after centuries but no one came .Finally I think god has listened to my prayers .What is your name ?"

Fin was shocked by the strange history .He looked at Fair's twinkling eyes and excited expression and thought he had found himself in some weird situation .

He said casually "I am Fin ,what about you ?".

Fairy didn't mind his casual attitude and flew herself on his shoulder and sat .She adjusted her seat like a new found home .Fin was taken back by her shamelessness .

She told proudly "I am princess Diana of the fairy land ,you must be feeling incredibly happy inside for finding a beautiful Fairy. Don't be complacent I have not yet decided whether I will come with you"

Fin was speechless 'when did he ask her to come with him ?'

He already had Eva who talked nonsense all the time .Now one more person was added.He asked coldly "I came here not because of you but for a reward .. ..don't tell me you are the reward I am looking for !"

Fairy became angry but her face turned incredible cute ,Fin wanted to pinch her .He restrained himself somehow .

Fairy told with a scorn "Who is your reward ? I am no ones reward .You have not reached even 10 years old and you want this immortal princess as your reward .Dream on boy"

Fin filtered everything she said and asked suddenly "What do you mean by immortal ?"

Fairy became smug all of a sudden and said with pride "We fairies are cultivators from the moment we born unlike you humans who need inheritance to cultivate then become immortal ."

Fin's head started spinning like crazy .He thought 'Humans can become immortal with inheritance !?'His attitude suddenly turned 180 degrees and with a charming smile ,he asked "Fairy must be tired ,do you want eat some bananas ?!"

Now fairy became speechless .She thought she was the epitome of shamelessness but someone else existed in the world who could rival .She told mockingly "I am an immortal and I don't need to eat your garbage bananas"

Fin didn't mind her scorn .He was learning new things every time she became angry .So he decided in his heart that he had to make her angry as much as he can.

He suddenly thought of something "Fairy you told that your master had asked you to wait here for his successor .Does that mean there is an inheritance here ?"Fin's heart started beating fast expecting some positive reply.

Fairy told casually "Yes otherwise why would I be here in a shitty island .After all I am the princess of fairy land .I was given this task by my master .He took care of me for hundreds of years .We fairies never forget gratitude and hatred .We repay them equally no matter the cost" She looked like she was remembering her time with her master .

Fin asked "Can we go there?". Looking at his sparkling eyes with expectation .Fairy knew no one would come even if she waited another 1000 years .She had already decided to give the inheritance to him but she had to know whether he was worthy of his master's inheritance .She would rather wait here another 1000 years rather than handing the inheritance to an evil person.

She told casually "Yes ,I will take you there but whether you are able obtain the inheritance or not all depends on your capability"

Fin became happy the moment he heard Fairy's words.
