1 A juncture of curiosity!

On a rainy day in July, A girl named "Raina" (wearing a purple shirt with blue faded jeans) appeared out of a car and snatched an umbrella in her left hand, and unlocked the backdoor of a car with her right hand.

*[Raina was a 21 years old girl. She often wore a normal frock and sometimes a geans shirt. She had a normal (tan) complexion of her skin. Having her long hair, she always did dutch-braids.]

An eight-month pregnant lady named "Rocella" came out wearing a long gown (of parrot color with a bun of her hair). The location was the best emergency hospital in the city.

*[Rocella was 31 years old lady having fair skin and a light brown color of her hair. She was 5.5 feet in height, her weight was 70 Kilograms. She always wore decent clothes like long frocks and gowns.]

They came to visit a lady doctor named "Brooklynn" for the routine checkup of Rocella (as if the baby is doing well.)

*[Brooklynn was a 28 years old gynecologist (Doctor and surgeon). Having a light-colored skin complexion with black-colored hair. Her long hair made her look gorgeous and with a classy dressing.]

"Mam, don't worry. I'm sure your baby is doing well", Raina grumbled.

" I hope so too", Rocella retorted.

They both sat on the waiting area's seats.

[The waiting area was like a big hall where so many seats were available in the front of the counter. There were so many speakers fitted in the hall's pillars, On the counter, there were some nurses and ward boys who were doing computer work.]

Raina was clenching the token of number 532 in her hand. Rocella was also sitting in the waiting area.

[Rocella was thinking about the last visit to her doctor (Brooklynn). Then she came like this and also waited like this she was 7 months pregnant then. She asked the doctor (Brooklynn) about the gender of the baby and the doctor said nothing. She was very disappointed due to this reaction of her doctor. She wished to have a baby girl because her mother-in-law had always wished for getting a grandaughter.]

After 45 minutes of waiting in the lounge, an announcement of a number 532 was heard in the waiting area.

They both stood up and headed towards the doctor's office. They stopped in front of the doctor's office and Raina knocked on a door one time.

A voice came out of the door saying, "Come in". That was Doctor Brooklynn.

Raina opened the door and held it for Rocella.

Rocella sat on the chair next to the doctor.

[The doctor was entirely pretty and classy, wearing a grey silk shirt with dress pants (tucked in her shirt), having a high bun. She was wearing a doctor's coat on her dress.]

"Hello, Ms.Jason. How's your condition?" Brooklynn greeted and asked in a gentle voice?

[Jason was the name of Rocella's husband. He was a natural pale-colored man. Having his dark brown hair color. A six Feet man always dressed up as a businessman. He was the owner of his textile industry named "K-ave's."]

"Yes doctor, I'm fine. But I'm here to know the gender of my baby", Rocella replied.

The doctor committed the ultrasound of Rocella and said, " Hm! It's quite a suspicious fact that I can't clarify the gender of the baby whether it's a boy or a girl".

Rocella got disappointed and wary and insisted the doctor (Brooklynn) commit the ultrasound again.

She said, "Doctor, can you check again?"

Brooklynn passed a smile and nodded to Rocella (as if she agreed).

Brooklynn: "Okay, No problem Mrs. Jason. I can do it again. don't worry".

Brooklynn again performed the ultrasound but again she didn't get the proper result. She could see the baby that the baby is fine, but she couldn't recognize the gender of the baby (A boy or a girl).

At a moment of that time, she thought the baby does not seem to be a boy or a girl. So what it could be? Could it be a transgender?

But she was not sure about that so she didn't discuss that thought with Rocella.

[Doctor Brooklynn was confronting the case like this for the first time in her career as a gynecologist.]

She passed a light smile (Pretending smile) and said: "I hope everything would be perfect and indeed your baby is doing well too. You don't have to worry about anything related to your condition Mrs. Jason. You just better take care of your baby.

"Ok Doctor. You are right I'll better take care of myself for this baby", Rocella responded to the doctor quietly.

Brooklynn put on a light smile on her expression and said, " ok then, I would recommend you some calcium and vitamin supplements. But make sure, you don't have to stress yourself too much as you suffer from high blood pressure as well. That's why I want you to take care of yourself."

"But I'm still anxious, I mean my husband (Jason) and his mother (Lauren) often ask me the gender. What should I explain to them?", Rocella whispered.

*[Lauren was 53 years old lady. She was the mother-in-law of Rocella. Having a skin complexion same as Jason with grey-colored short (middle) hair. She always dressed up in Long frocks. She was a lady having calm and polite behavior with others.]

" Hm sounds cringed but don't worry. I'll research it. I've never seen this kind of case. I mean it's so complicated. But make sure not to worry yourself and take care for the sake of this little angel (baby)", Brooklynn assured.

"Ok doctor, I better take a rest. See you next time. But please research it and notify me as soon as possible", Rocella conceded.

Rocella reaches back home. In the lounge, she met her mother-in-law.

[Lounge was a sitting area in front of the entrance door, that (lounge) was leading in the way to Rocella's room. So that's how she met Lauren].

" You are home, come on sit with me," Lauren spoke gently and happily summoned her in a gesturing manner.

Rocella nodded and sat on the couch next to Lauren.

"Raina make coffee for us", Lauren ordered Raina.

Lauren gently put her hand on Rocella's shoulder and inquired, "What did the doctor say? Did she reveal the gender of the baby?"

Rocella took a deep breath and stammered, "She sa-sai-said th-tha-that".

Suddenly the sound of something breaking came from the kitchen.

Rocella became quiet, and Lauren unexpectedly rushed towards the kitchen.

" What happened? Is everything okay?", Lauren asked with a stressful voice.

"Yes mam, Actually I didn't see a glass on the counter behind me, and accidentally the glass was whacked by my ankle and it fell off the counter. I'm so sorry for the trouble mam", Raina anxiously explained the whole scene that happened in the kitchen.

"I don't know where is your brain lost these days?" Lauren scolded Raina.

She turned back to Rocella and saw her sweating and trembling, she got overwhelmed and told Rocella to get some rest in her room.

After some hours, Jason arrived home from his office. He greeted his mother (Lauren) in the lounge and asked, "Mom, where are Kevin and Rocella?"

Lauren replied, "Kevin is in his room. He is doing his homework."

Jason: "and Rocella? Where is she? She had to go to the doctor for her routine checkup. Did she go there?"

Lauren responded, "Yes, She did. When she came back, She was tired so I sent her in her room and asked her to get some rest."

Jason ordered Raina to take his son (Kevin) to the lounge.

[Kevin was a five years old kid. He was very intelligent and he always liked to study hard. He was super cute.]

Suddenly, Kevin arrived at the lounge with Raina. When he saw his father posturing in his arms for hugging, he ran towards his father and hugged him (Jason) tightly. Jason loved his son (Kevin) so much. He gave the box full of chocolates to Kevin. Kevin got happy and hugged his father (Jason) again and bowed towards his father (Jason) after releasing the hug.

Kevin: "Thank you, daddy (Jason). I love you so much."

Jason chuckled and hugged his son (Kevin) again and said: "I love you too. My son. I am very honored to get such an intelligent and cute son."

Lauren looked at both of them with her smiling and loving expressions and said, "What about me Kevin? Don't you love me?"

Kevin: "Of course I love you the most, even you are my best buddy and the best grandma in this entire world. I love you too."

Lauren looked at Jason and said, "Jason, Certainly you must be exhausted and it seems like you had a rough day at work. So you better go to your room, freshen up yourself and after that let's dine together. I made your favorite food for dinner. And make sure, if Rocella is asleep then just wake her up and take her with you to eat dinner because she didn't eat anything in the afternoon. I wonder why. So bring her here with you."

Jason entered the room. Rocella was lying on the bed with her closed eyes and having a rough sleep and due to the sound of opening and closing the door of the room, She woke up. She sat with the support of the bed and said, "Jason. You are home."

"Hey, Row. How's your condition? Did your check-up with the doctor go well? I mean mom told me you were not feeling well earlier," Jason asked.

[Row was the nickname of Rocella, Jason and Lauren often called her (Rocella) as 'Row'].

" Yes, I am ok", Rocella responded in a tiring manner.

"Thank God! Don't stress yourself that much about any matter. Please stay happy in a good condition", Jason proclaimed.

Row nodded as she agreed and stood up with smiling facial expressions.

After some time, They both went to the lounge for dinner. After dinner, all of them headed to their rooms and got some sleep.
