8 Chapter - 8

Weekend - The D-day

"Hey, Witchy I am outside your home. Look outside the window." Rose waved her hand while holding cell phone with other.

I waved back

"Come down hurry" She gesture

"Wait, I am still confused which earing should I wear to match my dress. Yellow or white."

"White, now move your legs faster"

"Buy won't white be suitable more."

"Are you coming down or I will have a lone date with Soren. And if by chance he asked me about I will say you have an upset stomach by eating too much all week and won't accompany us. Get back down." Rose shouted at me. I took the phone away from my ears and wore white earrings to prevent her from nagging.

I hurried back downstairs, kissed Chubby and give goodbye to Vince and he actually replied back saying don't be late. I was still not used to his sweet talk whatever. I met Rose and she scolded me for being such a sloth. We hurried to the place where we would meet Soren.

"Hi there" I greeted him with a big smile.

"Stop smiling foolishly you look like you will drool over him." Rose whispered to me.

"Rose" I looked at her angrily and started fabricating a good comeback.

"Ladies is there a problem." Soren asked while raising his brows which settled his glasses in the way that it pushed down low purposely.

"No, nothing at all. Actually Our Rose here is big glutton. She asked me if she can eat like normally or she had to get back empty stomach she had a big appetite ya know." And that was my comeback.

Rose pinched me hard in the back but what she could do. (hehe) I already labelled her as glutton.

"I know now why Iris had a crush on you, You really look good in those glasses. You were not wearing one when we rescued you. Oh by the way how are you now. Did they bully you again if yes just tell me I will teach them a big lesson."

"Haha, no they not dare to do now. Thanks for the compliment and my wounds are all right now." He adjusted his spectacles with his left hand and had a smile on his face like he was having fun and enjoying the compliment.

When he adjusted his glasses my gaze went through his dress up. He really looked good wearing a dark blue t shirt and black jeans. And being a windy day his hair, covering his forehead were irritating him but which made him look more fabulous.

"Who can resist such kind of charm?" I spoke to myself but Rose being our arms clinked heard it.

"Me, not all our fools like you, my witchy" she replied with sarcasm making a poker face.

"By the way you haven't clear the air about having a thing for me are you admitting it shamelessly. Wow so bold of you." She snicker.

"I don't like you" I just spoke out with a stright face.

"Huhh" Both Rose and Soren sounded out at the same time with their faces stunned .

"I mean like you but I don't like you." They glared at me with strange expression.

"I mean Rose is just getting back at me for teasing her." I shunned my hands while saying it and close my eyes for one second.

"You are a good person." I smiled foolishly having thought what was I doing.

What the hell was I thinking while talking. I got bewitched by Rose's word. I glared at Rose.

"I hate you."

"But I love you darling so much" she clinked my arms tighter.

"It's alright. No need for that. I know such things happens between best friends teasing and all. So please don't feel bad. It's okay, I understand." He told with a big smile but I was still embarrassed about the things I said.

So where should we go first. what you two like to have? There is a nice cafeteria across that street. Shall we go there?

"Yeah, let's go. It's been a while I had macroons. I was craving for sweets for so long." Rose clapped her hand in excitement.

"Coincidentally their macroons test best in the whole city, I can assured that." Soren exclaimed.

"Wow, you have a sweet tooth, It's rare for guys to have one." Rose looked shocked while replying.

"Taste are not divided on some basis, It's just personal choice and the things that make one happy. For me sweet does. My grandma used to make lots of sweet dishes for me. So slowly I got adapted to it." Soren told looking one second at her and one at me.

"So what are we waiting for. Let's go"
