Testing Theories

Ray walks up, dragging his feet as he heads toward his cliff. While his body is practically immune to exhaustion, his mind is not and the toll the day has taken is showing.

Ray sighs, 'For over a year now I have been working nonstop, first the school, then the run-in with that cult, becoming a demigod, more school, a war, time travel, and now this?! I need to bring Asrea back, but after that, I will probably have to deal with a lot more all the time. I know being an 'Enigma' will mean there's a lot on my plate, but this is... Overwhelming.'

'You will grow used to it,' Kaine responds. Ray scoffs but says nothing in response and he thinks, 'I guess out of all times to confront the gods now would be the best time. They have another enemy they need to worry about, and I have a Primus on my side.'
