3 CHAPTER 2

The only thing we inherited was the house and the cars, of course, but my brother, Zack, managed to keep us on our feet.

Now I scurry off to college, and I was able to get a full-ride scholarship for my brain power which I would admit is something I am proud of. That would be enough weight off of Zack's shoulders. I also intend to get a part-time job once I aligned my schedule and classes. Since I'll be staying in the school dorms, I don't expect to get the weekly allowances I'd been getting.

I'm a big girl now, and it wouldn't hurt to fend for myself every once in a while now, would it?

I slammed the backseat door as I finished setting my luggage and got into the driver's seat of my car as I waited for Zack to lead the way. Soon enough, we were cruising down the city and pulling into the parking lot of my new humble aboard.

I pulled up next to him and got out, eager to settle in right away. Zack helped me with my bags, and we approached the admission desk, and I was handed a room key with a number to the door, and the blissful lady took it upon herself to lead us to the dorms.

"Here we are. You will come to pick up your issue of the curriculum and timetables in the Hall in 5hours time, and there will be a freshman guidance team ready to guide you." She said and smiled at Zack and me.

"Thank you, ms....", "Olivia," " Oh, thank you, Olivia. "Zack flashed one of his charming smiles on and winked at Olivia, and she smiled back, blushing, and walked away.

" I'm not even settled in, and you are already flirting with the school's secretary!? You're such an embarrassment. "I tsked and opened my door.

Zack just shrugged his shoulders and helped me put my stuff in my room, luckily I arrived before my roommate and got to choose which side of the room I wanted, and I immediately started unpacking and decorating my side of the room and when we were done Zack left, and I lay in bed waiting for the time to fly by so I could go to this Hall-guidance-whatever.
