Full Of Falsehood

When Fiennes saw Su Wan's pleading expression, his expression suddenly froze.

Su Wan actually asked him to chase after the emperor?

Su Wan looked at Fiennes without blinking.  She glanced at the man who was about to disappear at the corner of the corridor.  The expression on her face became more and more anxious.

"Can you?  I twisted my ankle and can't run, but I really have something to tell him."

Fiennes lowered his head and glanced at Su Wan, as if he was trying to tell if the anxiety on Su Wan's face was serious.

Previously, Su Wan had called him "Your Highness" many times, but he did not see the emperor turn around.  It was obvious how much the emperor did not want to see Su Wan.

Was Su Wan acting like this just to beg the Emperor for mercy?

Seeing how Su Wan looked like she was about to cry, if he did not know that Su Wan was pregnant with a wild child of unknown origin, he might really think that Su Wan liked the emperor.
