Win Doh

So this is the best I can do to solidify myself within the mortal lands. I could have been a man, any powerful beast, a bird, or even an ant. I could have immediately become a powerful mortal in this realm but instead...this happened. How can I possibly develop great power as...this, said Win Doh. Win Doh was a mighty cultivator who had long since transcended beyond his mortal bindings. He was an ethereal figure that could take any form by manipulating the quantum world around him, effectively concentrating energy into an entangled structure at will, of which he could as easily disperse. His favored manifestation was rather humanoid, as that is the form he'd become most familiar with during his 748,312 years as a mere human.

He emanated a powerful aura that spanned thousands of light years in every direction, which represented his direct influence on the universe around him. At its source, this aura was so powerful that it gave Win Doh a translucent, glowing, white appearance to a mortal observer. Win Doh was an extradimensional being though, and his perceptual abilities far surpassed those of a mortal man. Every sense for him was synesthetic. He could directly perceive the longest and shortest of wavelengths, which included the likes of cosmic waves. He could pick up on the interwoven subtleties of the universe, experiencing how all was really one, and timeless for that matter. It would suffice to say that he was simply too complex to express the full extent of his being in a four dimensional existence.

This however, was precisely what he had intended to do. Win Doh had been intent on creating his own universe for some time now, but every attempt had failed. He had attempted to do so millions of times, and every attempt had ended in an utter catastrophe. Win Doh was missing something. He had successfully been able to forge the beginnings of a universe using his generalized understanding of the fundamental laws of the one he inhabited, but it was clear to him that this was simply not enough. He had a clear understanding of what he wanted to do, but he had spent 4.7 million years beyond the reaches of a mortal life. He had long forgotten what that existence was like.

The best he could produce was an uneventful universe best suited for his current existence. It had dawned on him that to truly set in motion a set of laws that could give rise to sentience of his own creation, he had to refamiliarize himself with the mortal realms of existence. He had to become a mortal, and learn what it meant to live a mortal existence. He had to understand the inherent limitations of such an insignificant existence in order to create laws that gave rise to such an existence. He had to re-experience his growth from a mortal infant to a high celestial from the perspective of a high celestial. What Win Doh was missing were the finer details of a universe. It was only of natural consequence that by spending millions of years in such a vast state of perception, Win Doh had become less effective at focusing on the details. It was with that, that he began to formulate a plan to integrate himself with the mortal experience.

As Win Doh calmly devised his plan he allowed himself to interact with the lower four dimensions. He needed to deeply understand the entropic properties of existence within these lower dimensions, namely time. Due to Win Doh's extradimensional experience, he had to will himself to experience time and the entropic properties which manifested alongside it. This task would require him to experience things from a unilateral perspective, of which he was illy acquainted with. He was very poor in doing so at first, and was met with many inconsistencies. He'd seen time move in reverse, jump in random intervals, he'd frequently lost focus on the inherent properties of time creating his usual state, a pause, where he'd experience everything within his roughly 6 thousand light years of influence at once, but he was not determined to give up. He pressed on and eventually found himself succeeding. Memories rushed back to him as he experienced a sensation long forgotten. He was experiencing unilateral progression and the inherent unknowns that accompanied it. Win Doh was taking his first steps into a mortal existence.

Much time passed as Win Doh persistently pushed himself to create a consistent mortal reality for himself. This was no easy task even for him. He was creating an illusion for himself after all. It was after spending 13,032 years perfecting this illusion that Win Doh was met with complete success. He could successfully immerse himself in a set of mortal parameters at will. His senses could be individualized, he could limit them to imitate his best understanding of that of a mortal. He just needed now to find a suitable planet to manifest himself upon, and create his mortal form. His search for a planet ended quickly, as he picked up the faint and unmistakable energy of lifeforms on a planet within his range of influence. This planet was average in size amongst terrestrial planets, and it existed at an ideal distance from its A class main sequence star to support carbon based lifeforms. It was relatively uncommon for life to inhabit a planet around such a powerful star due to its immense amount of solar radiation output, but this particular planet had a very sturdy ozone layer protecting it.

The most dominant lifeform there appeared to resemble most hominids, and this lifeform was fairly complex. It was a bit feudal and lacked any understanding of cultivation as indicated by the levels of power present amongst its species, but it had a population of roughly 118 million and the planet possessed a fairly abundant array of lesser lifeforms, two of which seemed to be somewhat sentient. All lifeforms here seemed to have darker skin on average than most hominid species on other planets due to the excessive UV radiation levels, but this was not consistent amongst all of these species indicating that the planet had, had a drastically changing climate at some point in the past. The variance in evolutionary properties was plentiful indicating that these species were highly adaptable. Win Doh would choose this planet for his mortal existence. He would have to see a great reduction in his localized power on this planet if he was to condense himself into something material. This took a great amount of energy and the strength that he could express in this state would be greatly reduced. He was doing so in addition to actively forcing himself within the confines of a mortal existence separate from himself after all. A lot of mental energy would constantly be expended in this form. He proceeded to condense this external energy until it became something sturdy and material.
