“Sure.”
After that, Galen focused his attention on the newly engaged couple once again. He remained there for a few seconds longer before heading in the other direction from Odon.
“Galen!”
Galen faced Odon immediately. “Yeah?”
“Say ‘hi’ to Dion for me, will you?”
Then Odon winked at Galen who was honestly astonished to receive such a strange request coming from the grim reaper. He also couldn’t comprehend why he felt warm all over. It was as if he was feeling embarrassed about something, and that didn’t make sense to him.
“What are you talking about?”
“I often visit his funeral home,” Odon replied. “I like it there. It’s cold, and the atmosphere is peaceful and calm.”
“And?”
Odon snickered. “I was there earlier this morning, and I noticed the distinct traces of your angelic magic all over the main hall and inside one of the rooms. There were some on the staircases, as well. You have all the luck in the world.”
“What’s that supposed to mean?”
