Fight

A sudden commotion from outside jolted a deeply asleep Han Lan awake. She felt disoriented but the noises coming from outside were growing much louder and sharper.

It seemed like her friends were fighting and arguing over something. She glanced back at her phone to see that it was four in the morning.

She had visited the guys late night and fell asleep while watching a movie. She currently found herself in the former room shared by both Lu Nam and Lee Min.

Rubbing the sleep away from her eyes she decided to check out what the huge fuss was about. She froze on the spot with her hand on the door knob when the voices became clear and she heard her name being mentioned.

It clearly was Lee Min and Lu Nam making the whole ruckus. She took a deep breath and quietly decided to listen to them.

Meanwhile, unaware of the eavesdropper Lu Nam and Lee Min were engrossed in their own little fight.

"Min just spit out what the hell is wrong with you?!" Lu Nam questioned agitated, "You've been acting weird lately."

"It's nothing brother Nam. I'm fine." Min replied quietly refusing to say more.

"Fine my foot!" Nam pressed for answers, "You look like total shit so come out with it!" He look ready to kill people if given the chance.

Nam had had enough of Min's attitude lately. He looked and acted like he had lost his life and all his happiness.

He couldn't stomach it to see his brother in such a state. Even now when he returned to their old dorm from work he met Min outside who almost swallowed a bunch of sleeping pills.

That was the last straw and Nam couldn't hold back but confront the guy who looked pale, thin and lifeless.

He looked like a ghost each passing day. The dark eye circles underneath his eyes were a huge contrast to his deathly pale complexion.

"Guys cut it out." Xiao Yao emerged from his room annoyed, "It's not early anymore."

"Brother Yao, go back to sleep we'll keep it quiet." Nam didn't want to let Min go without answering his questions. Truth be told he kind of knew what had made his brother a living zombie.

Xiao Yao rolled his eyes, "Go sleep. You guys can sort it out in the morning." He tried to subtly warn them about Lan's presence in the dorm.

"No brother Yao." Lu Nam wasn't taking the hint, "I just saw Min swallowing sleeping pills like breathing in air. I can't let this continue anymore!"

"You already know the reason Nam", Yao sighed sadly, "it's-"

"Brother Yao, brother Nam, I'm fine." Min interrupted them, "Just go back and rest. I'll follow you both."

"It's all because of me and her right?" Nam connected the dots, finally coming to terms with the answer he already knew, "It's about Lan!"

"Nam, leave it." Yao said cautiously looking at Min's drooping face.

"Min?" Lu Nam wanted to know.

Min tried to avoid the issue altogether, "It's just something-"

"Shut up!" Lu Nam was livid, "I can't believe this! You said you were fine with it!"

"I don't know anything anymore brother." Min said sucking in a deep breath, "Just stop bothering about me!"

"The hell you don't know! I asked you before I agreed to go out with her!" Lu Nam was beyond livid, he wanted to punch this idiotic brother of his, "How can you not tell me!"

"I am not ok with anything brother Nam." He was starting to feel exhausted, "It's all for her."

Nam clenched his jaw tight, "Lee Min! I swear-"

He couldn't finish his sentence as at that moment Lan couldn't stand it anymore and walked out of the room- out of her hiding spot.

The three guys in the room all froze at her appearance.

They couldn't be sure of how much she had heard but judging by her horror and confusion filled face they could already guess that she had heard enough.

On the other hand Lan quietly took in the shocked face of Nam, surprised face of Yao and scared face of Min.

She didn't say anything and quietly walked out of the dorm altogether to sort out the once again messed up feelings and thoughts.

The argument which they had was definitely about her and it looked as if she-

She didn't want to think anymore. The feelings now were exactly same as the feelings she had when she got to know about her amnesia but now it felt as if the whole world had been left into a sort of chaos for her.

A war was raging in her mind and she couldn't trust nor believe anything anymore. The guys had lied to her from the start. She felt betrayed and lost.
