Prologue: The Beginning

Everything has a start or a beginning somewhere, and a ending. In the beginning of everything, there was nothing, it was all blank, the only thing that existed was a dark empty cold void or abyss as you might call it. The void had corners but you couldn't see them, even if you saw them and got out of the void there would be nothing outside. Everything outside was just fill with a endless sea of white light that stretched for all eternity, the void was the only thing that existed in that endless sea of white light.

Life didn't exist in the void or outside of it and it continue that way for a long time; the void stayed empty for trillions of years and it would have continue that way but in a tiny corner of the void. There was a tiny red light that can barely be seen floating next to the corner of the void, it flickering like it was going out, it was barely surviving the freezing cold that the void produces. It kept struggling for many years, it could have been millions or billions of years, or more.

Finally when it seem that the light was about to go out, there was a big...

BOOM

That could be heard for millions of miles.The darkness was swept away, the light became giant waves that went in any direction and darkness couldn't be seen for billions of miles and more. Now the only thing that filled the void was a bright red light, since no time existed in the void, there was not knowing how long it lasted, it have been a millennia or more.

Finally, the light was beginning to become smaller and smaller until it was only more than 1 million meters tall. It began to take shape of a male humanoid creature, with pale skin, a face with dark emeralds eyes, a normal nose, light color lips and a muscular jaw. The creature hair was pitch black but had tint of little stars, that it made it looked like a galaxy with million of stars. On his back there was a pair of wings, angels wings except his wings were black and with some red that looked like blood. There were also grayish chains wrapped around each of his arm from the wrist up to his elbow, with tiny reddish flames flickering around the chains.

It stood on top of a black transparent platform that was formed underneath his feet, with a blank look, staring faraway, looking for something. Then the creature looked down his body to inspected it. and saw the chains, he tried to take them off, but couldn't. So he looked around one more time before walking away toward the darkness that led to the center of the void, with loud heavy footsteps.

Thud

Thud.

Thud.

Rang through the void.

The creature kept walking and walking for god knows how long, he didn't stop or eat, well there wasn't anything to eat anyways, he just kept walking and walking until he suddenly stop. He opened his mouth to say something but no words came out. He kept opening his mouth to make any sound but couldn't, he was mute. He looked around and still only saw darkness, nothing else, he look down at his hand and saw the chains that were still wrapped around his arms. He shook his hands, making a jingle sound, and trying to get them off but couldn't, they were stuck like leeches sucking on blood with their life on the line.

Ding.

Ding.

Ding.

A sound was heard through the void, and the creature looked up and try to find where the sound came from.

Ding.

Ding.

Ding.

The sound kept ringing through the void but the creature couldn't find where it came from. So he kept walk forward, and while he walked he searched for where the sound was coming from.

Ding.

Thud

Ding.

Thud

Was the only sounds that were heard in the void. The creature kept searching and searching for that mystery sound but still couldn't find it. He at first just walked on the platform for a long time, but the black transparent platform ended. He stood there looking down and seeing the abyss of darkness, even if you look up it will be the same, there is no color in the void only the darkness. The creature at first didn't know what to do, so it just stood there, waiting for something to happen.

While standing there for how long one knows, he felt something on his back. He slowly turned his head around to see his angelic wings flapping. The wings were flapping slowly and it was as it had a mind of its own; the flapping started to created a mini tornado under the creature feet. The creature slowly started to rise into the air, until he couldn't see the platform anymore. After experimenting how to fly upwards, downwards, sideways and backwards, the creature continue to fly forward, toward the center of the void, where the sound kept getting louder.
