1 The Boy Who Turned Immortal: Part 1

New York City, 6:00 AM

Inside a luxurious Master room with a bed almost three times the size of a normal queen sized bed, a boy no less than the age of 15 with short blonde hair, blue eyes with a skinny white figure was occupying his bed with no other company. The bedroom itself was as big as 6 normal housed living rooms accommodated with its own mini fridge, bathroom, balcony a three monitor computer set up and a 100 inch tv.

The boy was resting peacefully as if he had just been relieved from stressful work when a man silently entered the room and opened the curtains allowing the suns ray to shine down towards the boys eyes.

"Master Jay, it is time to wake up."

"5 more minutes Alfred!" Jay yelled sleepily. [I got lazy naming the butler.]

"Master Jay, I'm afraid we can't risk you being late to school today. It's going to be 18 degrees outside today with no chance of rain. Would you like to have breakfast in bed or at the table?" Alfred said.

"In bed then.." Jay said lazily as he sat straight up.

"Right away sir." Alfred said as he went to serve Jay his breakfast.

After Jay ate his breakfast, he went to the bathroom, brushed his teeth and took a shower, put on a pair of black no name shorts and a loose white no named t-shirt over his white skinny framed body.

Coming out of the bathroom, Jay went to find Alfred who was in the kitchen preparing Jay's lunch. Leaning on the kitchens door Jay said "Alfred I ran out of body soap could you go buy me some?"

"Very well sir. Speaking of which would you like to walk to school or be driven?"

"Ugh, another year of having no friends. Just drive me and pick me up after school." Jay said while waving his hand trying to dismiss the topic.

"Master Jay, if I may be so presumptions, the reason you don't have friends is because your chasing that childish dream of becoming Immortal! Through the thousands of years humans have lived, not one has managed to become truly Immortal. Maybe it's time for you to drop the Immortality project and start making friends and having normal hobbies a 15 year old would have. It breaks my heart when I see you in that damned lab every day working yourself until you faint from exhaustion. If it was up to me that lab would have already been burned hundreds of times over!" Alfred said while ranting. Since Jay was born, Alfred had been taking care of him as his butler and more or less his father even if he doesn't admit it, Jay already considers Alfred his father to some extent.

Jay retorted defensively "Alfred you don't understand! Humans are extraordinary living creatures with unlimited potential!-"

"-And that's all we are Master Jay! Living creatures who are one day meant to die!"

"Ugh, you'll never understand Alfred. Won't it be marvelous to become Immortal and live through thousands if not millions of years seeing the advancements of humanity?" Jay said with awe as he imagined what it would be like.

"To me it sounds damn lonely! Personally I couldn't bear seeing one generation rise and fall one after another!"

"Whatever" Jay said taking his lunch and leaving the mansion.

"Haa... That was a workout in and of itself." Alfred said while wiping the sweat off his forehead.
