The immortal scientist

In "The immortal scientist," Jason Brown, a 19-year-old African-American scientist and self-proclaimed smartest teenager on Earth, finds himself floating in space after a wild party celebrating their victory at the "Galaxy Star" fair. Jason and his team, known as "The Lightyears," had become the smartest teens on Earth. However, their celebration takes a dark turn when a fight breaks out between Devon, a member of "The Lightyears," and Jake, a rival contestant. As chaos ensues, Jason and his friends flee the scene, only to wake up the next day to news of a meteor crashing into Earth. Jason realizes that he and his friends had unknowingly initiated a plan called "Light Speed," which involved building something to protect themselves from the imminent disaster. Jason hurriedly gathers supplies for space travel when he is ambushed by alien creatures. In the confusion, Jason is shot, causing him to lose consciousness. When he wakes up, Jason discovers that the meteor has destroyed Earth, leaving him alone in space. He reflects on the events that led to this moment, questioning the aliens' motives and contemplating the fate of his friends. With a mixture of resentment and determination, Jason decides to search for his surviving friends while grappling with the vastness and solitude of space.
