Return

"Haaaaa..... Just some little children who think their gods after having a title given to them and a bit of power.." said a young man who looked no older than 20 years old.

"They called themselves.. Immortal Gods?" the young man thought. Earlier when he was travelling through the worlds, he saw a group a bit less than a dozen destroying the world to its core. As he was in a good mood after finding some clues to where his birth place was, he decided to help save the planet by killing these ants.

"Well whatever, back to cultivating." as the young man was about to start his cultivation inside an unknown location, he suddenly felt a ringing in his head and the next thing he knew, he blacked out.

Azure Martial Province, Lao City, Liu household

"I... Slept.." the young man thought while getting out of bed.

After getting out of bed, the young man was alerted greatly

"?!?"

"Impossible! My cultivation has reduced to a mere mortal!" the young man thought in a panic. He was completely aware after travelling through countless realms, worlds and dimensions, that there was nothing that could reduce, destroy or even seal his cultivation as it was to high.

Quickly regaining his composure, the young man stepped out of them bedroom.

"Strange.. Everything feels and looks so familiar but incredibly distant as well."

"Oh? It seems you finally got up by yourself huh? Good, good mom's cooking breakfast, hurry and eat it before you leave for school. Trust me, after being gone for so long you'll start to miss your mothers cooking hehe" said an old man who noticed his son standing in the hall.

Hearing a voice beside him, the young man turned his head with incredible difficulty.

"T-this voice.. It can't be.." the young man thought with many emotions.

"D-dad.."

"Hm? Little Li, is something wrong? You don't feel well? Strange you seemed so excited yesterday, how could you be sick?"

"I see. So this is what happened huh." the young man thought. Unknown to him, he had returned to his birthplace.

Earlier, he panicked that his cultivation was in the mortal realm, but he was surely able to recover it in a matter of a few years. It was simple once understanding how to advance through a stage and avoiding all bottlenecks within them. That and a good cultivation technique to guide you.

The young man resisted the urge to run up to his father as he knew that his father was weak and even a little bit of contact would be dangerous. It was a miracle that he was even able to stand and walk.

"Liu Li, maybe it's just morning sickness, go wash your face and freshen up a little bit, it'll get better, besides you can't miss the first day of high school!" his father said.

"En." Liu Li said with a nod. "Go back to your room and rest dad." In his previous timeline, after high school he had died before he even knew what happened. His soul started to wander across the worlds as if compelled to a mysterious force and ended up materializing in the Martial God Continent. His parents wearn't to rich as they were just running a food stand which was barely able to support his new life after he left the city for high school.

"Hmph, you've finally entered high school and think you're old enough to tell me what to do!" father Liu said but still returned to his room after using the washroom.

Listening to what his dad said, he found the washroom without much trouble, freshened up, wore clothes suitable to walk outside with and went to the kitchen to grab a bite to eat.

Entering the kitchen, Liu Li saw that his mother was currently cooking in there run down kitchen. The light was extremely dim as it barely lit the kitchen, the stove looked as if it was two decades old with rust covering it and the kitchen was barely big enough to fit three people inside of it. After millions of years of sole supreme dominance over the Gods of many planets and universes, holding extreme prestige as many kneeled to the ground and slammed their heads to the floor at his presence, seeing his mother who still looked as if she was in her late thirties working in such a dump, he couldn't help but feel extreme heartache as a single tear drop fell from his face.

No one in millions of years was able to move Liu Li's heart. Not able to even so much as cut a hair off his body but seeing his mother and father living in such a run down house, his heart was devastated. No matter how strong one becomes, no matter how high up one becomes, no matter what conditions one went through childhood, with a loving mother who doted upon him very much before he transmigrated, seeing that she had to live through such a terrible and hard life, he secretly promised himself that he would make his mother stand on top of the world making no one dare to even breath loudly in her presence. Making her live a easy and carefree life.

"Ah! Little Li you're awake! Come are you hungry? I've just finished cooking some eggs come sit and eat them!" mother Liu said.

His eyes started to turn moist yet again. After he was strong enough to travel through the universe he tried and tried to find his home planet but finally after few million years was he able to find a slight hint as a familiar Qi unique to his planet was emitting from the planet but he was only given the general direction as he had to search for that stand of Qi that soon disappeared.

He knew his mother and father would long be dead but returning a soul to ones body was but a game to him. With a wave of his hand he would be able to revive them in perfect condition as if they were in their 20's, completely going against the heavens will.

Liu Li thought while running up to give his mom a big hug as he started to cry. Millions of years of searching for his home planet for the sole reason of reuniting himself with his mother and father, he couldn't help but think "This is the reason I returned for.. They are the reason I struggled so hard to survive. And for this, all those who had bullied my parents in the past, shall feel despair."
