Value

Shrugging her shoulders, she scoffed, "How long does it take to know someone? Maybe a five cups of coffee and a couple of dates. You have already been on two late night drives with him so I think two cups of coffee and a forma date should be enough."

"Can we please not talk about men or dates and anything related to it? It's weekend, let me chill." Passing her a cup of coffee, Amber added, " If you are so desperate about dating, why don't you do it yourself?"

When Catheline did not say anything, she sighed, "Come on Cath, it's been so many years already. You don't have to linger around it anymore."

Catheline nodded her head and agreed, "I know but—" Keeping quiet for quite some time, she explained, "It's not like I haven't moved on, I have there are a few things which are hard to forget."

"I can understand, feeling this way is completely normal. But you also have to keep in mind that time heals everything, you just need to go with the flow."

"Yes, we need to go with the flow, this is why we are going out tonight. We are gonna party, get drunk and maybe get laid." When Amber did not say anything, Catheline asked, "Seriously girl, do you even remember when was the last time you got laid?"

"I—"

Cutting her off, she scoffed, "Oh let me guess, you probably don't remember—"

Scrunching her brows, Amber defended herself. "Hey, that's not true. I have a long list."

"Yeah, with a maximum of two or three names on it." Taking a sip of her coffee, Catheline chuckled, "I think Jackson Horris is the only man who shines in that short list of yours. I can't believe you ditched him after taking advantage of him."

"That is so not true, I never took advantage of him. We both were drunk and who would have thought he would get so serious and start talking about marriage and kids?" Amber sighed.

"Yeah, he was a handsome creepy man," she sighed. "That was like nine years ago girl, you have never been with anyone after him, right?"

Amber chuckled and nodded her head. "Well, there is no time, I am busy almost all day. And trust me, I feel life is better this way."

Ivan's place.

"No—"

"Oh come on dude, it's Saturday night. How can we just waste it by staying at home?" Athan frowned. "We need to go out and party for world peace."

"You know how crowded clubs are on weekdays dude and you also know I don't like crowds."

"Don't be such a wuss," he remarked. "I don't know anything, you are coming with me and that's it." When Ivan glared at him, he shrugged his shoulders. "You really don't have a choice mate."

"I am not coming," Ivan stated before walking towards his room.

"So you can go for long drives with that therapist whom you barely know for two days straight but you can't go clubbing with your best friend on a Saturday night. Okay, I know my value in your life now."
