all types of questions were going through Davina's mind . no one had ever survived the hellfire. will she be able to pass through it. she wasn't regretting her decision but she was scared.

davina knew that this is the only way out of this maze. she couldn't feel any connection with him , since the day her mate bond was broken. with every minute, every second that passes she couldn't help but wonder about him . is he okay? what was going on with him? she knew that this was the only way out for her.

" there is always a way " daeliah said interrupting davina's thoughts. her lips twitched upwards as she realized what her wolf just said.

There is always an another way, somewhere written in some forgotten language in some city lost in lava likely lies burried to have everything one wants, all at once but not today .

it was already 6am . one hour more. davina haven't seen lucifer since that argument from the evening. curiosity was getting the most out of her. what was behind that gate ?

she sighed as she made her way out of the room towards the never-ending hallway . it was a long never-ending night as sleep was nowhere to her.

a silhouette came in her sight as she turned around the corner. of course the daylight could bring brilliant fuchsia or deepest scarlet, but for now it could be a scene from a black and white movie. The silhouettes were already more discernible than they were a little while ago ; any moment the sun would kiss the sky orange, igniting a new dawn, bringing the chorus of the birds.

his large yet muscular figure couldn't be hidden from anyone's sight. before davina could take another step his voice stopped her dead in her tracks.

" you realise that i can read your thoughts little demon? "

she shifted uncomfortably as she heard his deep and husky voice .

" i am not thinking anything Mr lucy " she said looking straight at him. his back was still turned on her but it couldn't hide the dark aura that surrounds this men.

her entire life she was never bothered about anyone. she never cared about what others think or what they have been through but this man . she couldn't help as she wants to know more about him. what led him to here ? what would have happened to him? that once an angel of the heavens is now a dark demon lord of hell .

" My story is too dark for you little wolf. don't get curious for something you will never get to know . " he said turning towards her now. everything was black and white. davina couldn't help but flinch under his gaze .

"There are no greater agony than bearing an untold story inside you " Davina said without hesitation. she herself didn't knew what she said until she heard them .

davina waited for his reply but nothing came for a long time.

" do you want to spend your last moments with me little wolf? " he said stepping closer to her. everything around this man was cold and freezing. davina wanted to run away from him but her feet frozed under his gaze.

" why are you so sure that i can't get through the hellfire? " davina asked fiercely looking into his eyes.

a smirk crossed his face as he turned away from her .

" you think you can do it.? lemme remind you that - many gods, demons. hundred time stronger than you had died trying to achieve power, eternity and immortal-ness . what makes you think you can do it? "

his words felt like a sharp daggers piercing through her body

" there was once a person who survived hell full of the hell fire " a voice spoke to davina. davina took a step subconsciously afer hearing it. it's not the first time she is hearing it. she doesn't know where it is coming from.

" it's almost seven. " davina replied back ignoring everything around her.

" eager to die! aren't you ?" lucifer said clutching his hand inside his pockets . he couldn't understand why this little wolf is bothering him so much. he shouldn't be caring about her. whether she lives or not it's her decision.

he walked past her motioning her to follow him. davina didn't took another second as the started following his footsteps.

they walked through endless empty corridors. they stopped in front of the same red door but davina couldn't understand how it is that when the last time she saw it , it was in different place that here.

" last time, it chose you and this time you chose him. the door is to hell itself but before one goes to the hell. they pass through hellfire itself. it's said that the torment and punishment of hell, envisaged as eternal fire. long time ago, when hell was first created, the heaven god itself decided to give everyone a chance to pay for their sin. the hellfire decides whether the person is worthy of forgiveness or not. people like you, are other categories . if you survive today , not only will you be able to get a huge cultivation but you will be able to summon it whenever you want but this will only be possible if it accepts you. it will show you your darkest fears and insecurities. remember that they are illusions. don't get driven away by them. "

his words confused davina more. why did he said that it chose her at the first place ? what does he mean by people like me? but she simply chose to nod her head before all the braveness of choosing her own death vanishes away.

" i will see you in hell, if you couldn't pass it little one " he said finally opening the gate for her. from where she was standing she couldn't see anything beyond that door it was dark. the more Davina stared in that darkness , the more she felt like someone is staring back at her. a new fear took over her .
