The Igneous Hunter

Due to an unwanted experiment, Manna was released from its chains that bound it for millions of years at the core of our planet. The elements were born and declared their dominions in different parts of the world creating their own territories. Animals, nature, and humans underwent shocking changes in their systems thanks to Manna. Being able to make fire from our hands was no longer a dream or a fiction, but more a reality. In short, it was the beginning of a new era in which magic and technology went hand in hand. An era ... magical. Unfortunately, like any good story, there will always be trouble around the corner. The portals. The portals emerged without warning in different parts of the world and in large numbers. From these portals, powerful beasts emerged that brought all manner of destruction in their wake. The attacks these beasts carried out were steeped in a deep and inexplicable hatred towards our world. Human weapons could not do the slightest damage to these beasts. The enormous confidence that humanity had in its military power was completely destroyed. Millions of lives were lost in an instant. But in all this darkness, a small trace of light appeared. After countless experiments, humans managed to use the energy of the world and the elements in their favor to fight against these beasts, gaining peace in their lives as a result of constant struggles. --- Leo was the son of two D-rank hunters. He was orphaned at the age of 12 after learning the tragic news of the death of his parents on an exploration to a C-grade portal. Alone and without a way to live in this cruel world, Leo becomes a hunter and wanders from portal to portal alongside a group of inexperienced hunters who despise him and treat him like useless trash. During an exploration inside an F-rank portal known to be somewhat more difficult than the others, Leo is betrayed by his team by being thrown like bait into the jaws of the beasts so that they can escape. In the last moments of him as his limbs are separated by the beasts and his flesh is torn by his claws, Leo with what little consciousness he has left feels like a fiery energy emerges from his chest to spread throughout his body. It is then that a strange message appears in his mind. [Element awakened.] From that moment, the entire world and all living beings in it will have a significant change. The start of many wars and the loss of many lives would only be the beginning of a great catastrophe ...
