Expelled

"I need you to come here right now!" a yell on the other side of the phone was heard. Chen Waan scratched her ear as the elderly voice on the phone hurt her ears.

"Yes Dean, I will be there in a few minutes," she said obediently. It was holidays time, Christmas mood was in full swing, everyone was out of campus, what did the old man want from her?

"Granny, can you check the condition outside?"

It had not even been a day. Today was Christmas, it had snowed very heavily previous night. Most of the reporters had left but Chen Waan had still spotted that stubborn Fu Fanghua late into the night in her car.

There was nothing around in five miles radius here. What was she expecting that they take pity on her for her dedication to her job and then give her the interview? Never!

Well, the granny did end up providing her and one or two other remaining reporters hot meal. She did urge them to go back since they would never get what they were looking for.

"It seems like the crowd is back. Hmm… there are a few more reporters from China too," granny checked from behind the window. Well, that was enough time for everyone to know that Fu Fanghua had already reached the scene. Others might have followed her just for chasing after an exclusive.

"Li Fa Ying, can you help me out? I need to be there as soon as possible," she pleaded to her friend.

"Why are you not even bothered about what is happening? And what did you mean this was your plan all along? Did you really approach the guy intentionally?" Li Fa Ying had run out of patience.

One, Fa Ying had just woken up. Her long blonde hair was all over the place. Her pale face still had drool stains. And her jet-black eyes were ready to kill this girl in front of her.

Just for herself, Chen Waan had put whole Li family in trouble. This was such a huge inconvenience and this girl was not regretting her actions one bit.

"If I were to say yes?" Chen Waan smirked. No one in this world knew what was going on in her mind.

"Cannot deal with you. I will go out from behind, then you can leave," Li Fa Ying gave up on her friend. Once she had made up her mind about something, no one could deter Chen Waan to complete her mission. Even though no one knew what that something was.

Chen Waan was able to deceive the reporters using Li Fa Ying as a bait and headed to her college. She was promptly taken to the Dean's office.

"Ours is a pretty small but quite prestigious university," Dean Roman started lecturing Chen Waan as soon as he saw her. The girl clasped her hand behind her back while still standing in front of the Dean.

Dean Roman had served this university here for last 40 years. He had slowly climbed the ladder to finally reach where he was today. He had seen wild students once in a while. Most of the people, after coming to college, would calm down and mature. But there was always one odd case in almost each batch.

But this girl! She did something so outrageous! He had been hounded by so many reporters to get a background on this girl.

Yes, the university was small but that did not mean he would know each and every student of some 4000 students personally? Why did they have to ruin his and his family's holidays? It was all this girl's fault!

"You do understand that you have ruined our reputation, don't you?" the Dean folded his hands in front of him, resting his chin on them and spoke seriously. His half bald head also had turned red out of anger.

"But sir, I did not do drugs nor did I cause a sex scandal. How is this ruining the reputation? I just happen to have a good looking boyfriend," Chen Waan blinked her eyes innocently, her brown limpid eyes eliciting pity from the Dean.

For once, the Dean wanted to help her out. Her argument was quite valid too. But it was the question of his marriage. His wife had given an ultimatum. She was very furious over the calls they were getting the whole day, and night since people did not understand the time zone difference.

He shook his head and remembered her wife's face, before yelling, "If you really have that boyfriend, why don't you take him out for the world to see? What is so wrong in giving everyone peace eh? It is holiday's time for God's sake! Why do I need to be dealing with your stuff when I could be enjoying my family time?"

Chen Waan grinned. Now came the real reason. He was not interested in finding out the truth, he just wanted his peace. And where would she produce that boyfriend from? The guy did not exist. So much for saving an idol from harassment.

"Well, you see sir, he is a student, he has been living under the shadows precisely because he keeps getting harassed like this. He came here because he wanted some peace. Who knew the fans of that idol existed here too? He has gone back to his shell once again, and I was the one who called him here. We are kind of, going through a rough patch right now. So please give me a break," she made up a ridiculous story.

Well, this whole mess was ridiculous from the beginning anyway. She had banked upon those WhirWind agency's PR team to take care of this, but they let it blow to this proportion. What was that Wang guy thinking?

"I do not know about all that. I sympathize with your cause but this won't work, okay?" the old Dean cleared his glasses.

"So then, what is the solution sir?" Chen Waan asked in a calm and cool manner.

"You are being expelled."
