Troublesome Paparazzi

Zhang Lian's assistant Qin Qiaohui and her manager, Tong Mao already put her belongings in her van.

Although she haven't seen what it looked like outside, Zhang Lian was sure that there were tons of people in the parking lot. She could see that Qin Qiaohui and Tang Mao were almost bathed from their sweat.

Zhang Lian was dressed with a white polo with long sleeves tucked in a black tight pants and a pair of black wedge heels. The outfit complimented Zhang Lian's white complex and even when she dressed simply, Zhang Lian emitted a classy and graceful aura like a educated lady to from a wealthy family.

Tang Mao approached Zhang Lian who was sitting at the room designated for the main lead's dressing room, "We'll leave first so the crew can fully assist us then they'll assist Li Zuo Jin after we depart," he explained.

Zhang Lian nodded.

She couldn't help but feel worried about what will happen to Li Zuo Jin. She was thinking of accepting one of the interviews but her manager disagreed, saying that the news will eventually died down.

Since Zhang Lian couldn't contain her nervousness, she opened her WeChat and tapped her conversation with Li Zuo Jin.

[Zhang Lian: It seems like we'll be going first! Have a safe trip.]

After sending the message, she felt much better at the same time a representative the crew knocked to informed that they have already prepared the assistance of several crew outside the shooting site.

Zhang Lian has four crew around her along Tang Mao and Qin Qiaohui while another crew leads the way.

As soon as they opened the gate of the palace, she felt blinded by the flash of the camera's of the paparazzi. She immediately close her left eyes. The paparazzi along with fans were talking simultaneously that she couldn't hear any statements anymore. For Zhang Lian, it was like hearing thousands of buzzing bees around her.

Although faced with the pressure, Zhang Lian remained calm and smile for her fans. She even bowed to expressed her gratitude for their supports and waved at them.

Paparazzi and severals fans blocked the pathway towards the parking lot so reaching her van wasn't easy. Although there the crew assisted them and made a way towards the parking lot, a crowd like this one couldn't be controlled.

The crew fended Zhang Lian but the crowd were persistent. They kept pushing themselves towards Zhang Lian.

Suddenly, a mic held by a female paparazzi in front of Zhang Lian, "How long have you started dating Mr. Li?" the female paparazzi asked.

Zhang Lian only smiled as she didn't want to answer any question.

"Is it true that you're dating him to promote your drama?" The same female paparazzi asked again. This time, she became more pierce. She made her way through the crowd while following Zhang Lian.

Zhang Lian felt uncomfortable however she didn't show it.

"That's not true." She polite answered and smiled at the paparazzi.

That was the first and last statement she was willing to answer. She wanted to clear this perception of the masses that she and Li Zuo Jin were only dating to promote their drama. Not only this perception will have negative effect on Li Zuo Jin but on the drama itself, clearing it would be much better.

After minutes of struggling through the crowd, Zhang Lian finally make it into her van.

She didn't noticed that she was sweating too much, nevertheless her natural scent seems like she came from a bed of flowers.

She lead her back on her sit on the van to rest. She closed her eyes after she wipe the sweat in her face and body.

Zhang Lian drifted into sleep after the tiring day. When she woke up, she was already the parking lot of her condominium.

She got up and rode the elevator, with her assistant and manager to help her carry her belongings, going to 18th floor where her unit was. Afterwards, they bid farewell.

Zhang Lian rested for an hour before she took a bath. Bath after a tiring day was sure to relieved one's fatigue. It was like her ritual after work.

While drying her hair. Zhang Lian remembered that she haven't checked her phone. She immediately saw Li Zuo Jin's reply which warmth her heart, her heart and eyes softened and her lips smiled tenderly.

[Li Zuo Jin: Yi Qin also informed me about it. Have a safe trip and a good night. Thank you for today. :)]

Zhang Lian didn't know how a simple message like this one made her heart skip a beat yet it seems like spring spread into her heart.

When she was about to reply to Li Zuo Jin, a notification popped out.
