Meet and eat dinner tonight

In the same night, Zhang Lian confirmed to Tang Mao that she and Li Zuo Jin decided to give a interview that many people can watched and let the management decide on the rest of the details.

The following days of the shooting went smoothly. Their management announced on the same night, that they would be doing a live press conference on saturday that week. The announcement made the reporters and fans calm down.

The reporters were nowhere to be seen, only few fans went in the shooting site and there were only a small number of Zhang Lian's fans. Perhaps ashamed of their previous behavior.

The press conference was scheduled on Saturday at Pearl Grand Hotel. A function room was reserve for the live press conference.

Although Zhang Lian's entertainment company, Regal Entertainment, have several A-list artiste who announced that they were dating, none of them became a controversy like this. They knew that Zhang Lian was the most popular artiste at her age in the country, nevertheless, no one expected that it would explode like this.

The interview also made two different entertainment, Regal Entertainment and Supernova Entertainment, work together which was something unlikely to happen in the industry as entertainments mostly compete with each other.

Regal Entertainment's Public Relation was more accustomed handling people in such events, Supernova Entertainment decided that they would let the head of Regal Entertainment's Public Relation face the reporters.

Inside the shooting site..

The shooting had just finished. The cast were already packing their things and removing their heavy make-ups while the crew were packing the props and equipments.

After the female leads packed their things, they bid goodbye to the crew and other actors and headed to the parking lot.

"There's no commotion again today!" Jian Shufen smiled widely. She clung into Zhang Lian's arm, "Let's have a dinner!" Said Jian Shufen in her usual cheerful voice.

Zhang Lian smiled apologetically, "I'm sorry! We're having live press conference tomorrow. I'll have to prepare for that today."

Jian Shufen formed an 'O' in her mouth, "It's about you dating Brother Jin, right?"

Zhang Lian nodded.

Although she was already used talking with a lot of camera in front of her, the situation was not the same. The press conference wasn't for a drama or endorsement, it was about her love life.

"Then, we're going to finally hear you tell about you and Brother Jin!" Jian Shufen said happily.

Jian Shufen was referring 'we' as she included their other girl friends.

"I didn't keep any secret from you guys." Zhang Lian said helplessly.

Jian Shufen looked at her as if she hurt her, "I don't believe you. You didn't even told us when the two of you started dating."

"Ehh.. It's not like that. We started dating just the night before we announced it." Zhang Lian explained to her friend.

Jian Shufen jaw dropped. They started dating just this week? And they already announced it?

A lot of celebrities kept their relationship for at least months, some even years before they let the public knew about it. Zhang Lian was just too honest!

Zhang Lian stared at her, confused, "Why?"

Jian Shufen explained to her that they were so honest about dating and her other thoughts about it.

"Well.. It's okay. I like being honest to my fans," Zhang Lian said as a matter of fact tone.

Jian Shufen nodded and they part ways after.

After getting home, Zhang Lian was reviewing possible questions and answers that the reporters might ask for their interview when her phone rang. She immediately picked it up without looking at the caller's ID.

"Hello?"

"...Are you free?" A man's voice resounded from the phone. A deep yet warm voice echoed in her ears which made her heart skipped a beat!

Stunned, she answered without thinking, "Yeah."

"You're not doing anything?" The man continued to probed as if he was confirming something.

"Yeah," She answered honestly. It was as if her brain was malfunctioning. She just kept answering the questions thrown to her without thinking. "I'm just reviewing the possible questions tomorrow. Why?"

There was a moment of silence before Li Zuo Jin spoke as if he was hesitating, "Have you already eaten dinner?"

"Not yet." Zhang Lian then looked at the wall-clock and saw it just turned 6 P.M, "It's still early so I haven't prepared dinner yet."

Li Zuo Jin remained silent for a while before he said in tense tone, ".. Then can we meet and eat together?"

Zhang Lian could hint that Li Zuo Jin was nervous with his almost trembling voice. Nevertheless, her face still turned into red. Her heart was beating like crazy.

He just asked if they could have a meal tonight, how can she be so flustered by it?

She was in daze as bite her lips. Seconds later she nodded as if the other person can see her, "Mmm.." She said shyly.

"Really?!" Li Zuo Jin sudden spoke in a exhilarating voice. You could never imagine that he was nervous seconds before.

"Yep."

"Then I'll reserve a room at Royal Spring Hotel! Let's meet there!" Li Zuo Jin spoke so fast which made her chuckled.

"Okay. I'll be there in 30 minutes!"

With an abnormal beat of heart and a smile on her face, Zhang Lian picked out a white pleat dress and drove straight to the hotel.
