Interruptions

It was the second to the last scene they were going to take, but no one has gone home. Even the actors and actresses who already finished their scenes were still hanging around the shooting site, watching the last scene they were going to take. Their shooting today has gone smoothly today that they were almost done even if the sun was still up. However they were intrigued what would be the changes between Zhang Lian and Li Zuo Jin who were now the hottest issue in the industry.

Zhang Lian who was currently sitting at the chair watches her friend flirting to her lover at front of her. Li Zuo Jin and Jian Shufen were currently shooting their scene. Jian Shufen's character Tao Rie was seducing Li Zuo Jin's character, Xie Yuan. Although it was only an act, Zhang Lian felt something sting in her heart.

"Brother Yuan, what do would it good if you continue to pursue Wei Meirin?" Tao Rie asked, mocking Wei Meirin's position in the palace. Tao Rie slowly advances to Xie Yuan, wanting to corner him. "Why don't you just pay attention to me? I'll become future's emperor wife," she smiled seductively at Xie Yuan.

'Ah. Girls in these drama are really aggressive,' Zhang Lian thought.

Zhang Lian enjoys watching them while she was on break. She felt that observations would help her enhance her acting skills more. There were certain expressions needed in some scenes which she sometimes couldn't figure out how to do, however through watching the actors she would have an idea how to show it. Although a lot of people says that her acting was already above among normal actors and actresses, she still strives to become better so she could deliver a first-class acting skill or drama to the viewers and her fans.

Li Zuo Jin who was pinned onto the wall by Jian Shufen, "You've have changed Tao Rie." Li Zuo Jin said coldly, his sharp gaze would make you shiver nevertheless, his refined face was still noticeable.

"We already grown up, Brother Yuan. How come I can't change? Even Wei Meirin changed a lot," Jian Shufen's facial expression became more fiercer, disgusted and jealous with her childhood friend. She began circling around Li Zuo Jin. Suddenly, she touched Li Zuo Jin's chest. "I'm better than her."

Li Zuo Jin was supposed to have an intense eye to eye contact with Jian Shufen but he wasn't able to, instead he stared at Zhang Lian as if asking for her permission to continue the scene.

Zhang Lian was stunned. She didn't know why Li Zuo Jin suddenly turned into her way and stared at her.

"CUT!" Director An shouted, "The scene was already doing good! Why did you get distracted now Li Zuo Jin?" Director An's tone obviously indicate how upset he was. Jian Shufen and Li Zuo Jin's acting were extremely good but it was ruined when Li Zuo Jin directed his to something else instead to Jian Shufen. They rarely even get a passable first take scenes for Jian Shufen and Li Zuo Jin's scenes.

"I'm sorry Director An!" Li Zuo Jin was very apologetically yet his eyes diverted to Zhang Lian again.

Zhang Lian smiled at Li Zuo Jin and nod at him, giving him approval that it was okay to continue the scene. She lift the bottled water that Li Zuo Jin gave to her, "thank you," she mouthed. Li Zuo Jin gave her a smiled.

"Where are you looking at?" Director An asked and followed Li Zuo Jin's gaze. "Oh. He's looking at his wife," the director added.

Everyone was flabbergasted. The supposedly good take was interrupted because Li Zuo Jin was hesitating to act the scene? Their eyes looked back and forth to Li Zuo Jin and Zhang Lian. Aren't they too affectionate? Even the single people in the crew were jealous of their relationship.

Due to the stares, Li Zuo Jin and Zhang Lian felt awkward. They immediately diverted their gazes at other things.

"Let's take another one," Director An said. "Cameraman and actors needed in the scene please stand by."

With the directors cue, the scene begins.

Like the first take, it went smoothly again. Suddenly, one of the crew who was in charge of the production's food came running to Director An. He whispered to the director's ear, all of sudden the director stood up, with flabbergasted face he yelled, "What?"

Another interruption. Zhang Lian thought then sighed.

Li Zuo Jin and Jian Shufen squelched acting. They didn't know where did it go wrong, everything was going fine yet with the director's yell, they were interrupted.

When Director An regained his composure, he whispered something to the crew. No one know what was happening. The crew then left, Director An turned to Jian Shufen and Li Zuo Jin. "We'll take a 20-minute break. I need to attend something urgently. I'm sorry for the interruption," with that Director An ran where the crew went.

Everyone was puzzled, what the hell happened that Director An abruptly interrupted the shooting? Everyone was talking about what just happened. They could only guess what had happened.

Jian Shufen and Li Zuo Jin walked towards Zhang Lian who was sitting at the rest area. This was a good spot for resting area, you can watch as the actors and actresses perform their character.

"What happened?" Jian Shufen asked as soon as they reached Zhang Lian. Since both she and Li Zuo Jin were acting during the time Director An suddenly shouted, they were more clueless than anyone else, along with the crew involved in the scene.

"A crew just whispered something to Director An then he was taken by surprised." Zhang Lian explained. "I also don't know what really is happening."

"That's weird," Jian Shufen sat in the stool beside Zhang Lian, she reached for the water at the table and drank it, "I wonder what happened?"

Li Zuo Jin was still standing in front of Zhang Lian. Now that they think about it, this is the first time they went near each other since they announce they were dating. They rarely interacted for the whole day.

They didn't notice that they were staring at each other. This actually feels nice for them. Although they were still feeling awkward, they both felt refreshed, they feel relaxed.

Jian Shufen coughed, "Should I excuse myself? Am I interrupting for the both of you?"

Both blushed tremendously. Just what the hell was wrong with them?!
