Dinner With You

Royal Spring Hotel was famous for their fresh and savory seafoods. It was one of top seafood restaurant in the country. Aside from it, the security of the hotel was also excellent. A lot of celebrity and company owners were customers because of this, they did not need to worry about invader in privacy. However booking a private room was extremely hard. It would take you a month or three before you can dine in the restaurant.

This cause Zhang Lian to wonder how did Li Zuo Jin reserved a room for them, perhaps he know someone inside?

She brushed off the thought and walked into the hotel. She did not try to wear any disguise since the hotel has excellent security. She can walk freely inside the hotel.

The went to the clerk and asked for the room reserved by Li Zuo Jin.

"Room 308, Miss Zhang." the clerk said as another attendant appeared to guide her to the room.

When Zhang Lian reached the room, the attendant left with a sly smile in his face which left her dumbfounded.

Seriously? She knew that all the employees of the hotel were professional, but how come that even the hotel attendant was teasing them?

She just sighed and opened the door of the room, she saw the room was set for two people only. On the left chair, Li Zuo Jin was sat but immediately stood up and went to her.

She felt her heart swell by the effort of her lover. She thought it would just be a normal dinner, who knew it would be a romantic dinner? It was not as if nobody had ever done this to her, but this was the first time she sincerely appreciated it.

"You've reach in less than 30 minutes!" Li Zuo Jin said in surprised. "I just finished preparing too." then he laughed nervously.

He asherred her in the chair opposite to his, although it was not a candlelight dinner, it has some certain atmosphere of it in the room.

Zhang Lian chuckled, "Hmm.. This was quite a surprised."

Li Zuo Jin looked at her in the eyes which made her conscious, "Well.. I just thought we should have a proper date before we cleared up all the misunderstandings." he said shyly.

A knock was suddenly heard through the door. An attendant went in to serve the dishes.

Zhang Lian asked, "You already ordered?"

She saw the seafoods being placed into their dining table, each of these dishes costs five to six digits in the hotel! Reserving a room plus the dishes, it would cost a fortune!

Li Zuo Jin nodded, "I saw your favorite foods in one magazine. You said that you like seafoods so I reserved a room here. You also mentioned that you love shrimps, scallops and lobster so I ordered those," he said attentively.

"It's our first time having a meal together since we started dating so I did a lot of research about it," he continued and smiled that melted Zhang Lian's heart.

Li Zuo Jin was already handsome but when he smiled, Zhang Lian thought that he was one of those seniors that she admired, out of reach. However they were together. With his sweet talks, smiles, gestures, efforts and sincerity, no wonder she felt Li Zuo Jin was different from other guys who tried to pursue her.

"You don't have to do much. A simple dinner would be enough for me," Zhang Lian said with a gentle smile.

Li Zuo Jin's smile never left his lips, "Just let me do this for you," he said it smoothly that her unprepared heart almost exploded!

His eyes spoke for sincerity, one could compare it to ocean. There was no hidden agenda in it, his eyes were as clear as water but anyone who would look at it would be drowning. No one could escape from it.

She laughed bashfully, not knowing how to respond to Li Zuo Jin. This guy caught her off guard!

They started eating their dinner, Li Zuo Jin assisted her in every way he can- pouring wine in her glass, serving her the already peeled lobster and serving meals to her plate. He was practically a gentlemen. This was the first time she saw this side of him.

In the middle of the meal, Li Zuo Jin spoke, "By the way, Senior Jian said that I should treat your friends, do you know when they are available?" he asked.

Zhang Lian almost choked the food in her mouth when she heard this. Li Zuo Jin immediately handed her a glass of water which she drank in one go.

"Shufen actually said that?!" she bursted. "You don't need to treat them. She was just joking."

That girl never knew how to stop herself from these kind of things!

Li Zuo Jin found her expression amusing, he cackled, "It's nothing. I also want to meet your friends. They are also my seniors so I might get some advice from them."

"Li Zuo Jin, you're too kind! You need to know when to say no too." She didn't want him to meet her friends or else they will be subjected into another teasing and hot seat.

Li Zuo Jin smiled teasingly and said, "You're also too kind Senior Lian. I heard that you never say no to other people too."

She didn't know how to react, her own words was used against her. What should she do now?

"Don't worry about it. I just feel that I also need to meet them," he assured. She could only obey because she can't go against him anymore.
