And they were teased

Zhang Lian was in the her dressing room and now getting her make up done. Due to their announcement of dating, people were discussing it in different platforms. She was not worried about herself, it was not like she didn't care about her image but because she was normal for her to be honest in her private life if somebody asks. However she was worried for Li Zuo Jin who just started his career. This was his first time playing as a male lead and it was even a huge project. It may stain his image that will affect the next project he will take.. Zhang Lian really worried.

All of sudden, they heard a knocks on the door. The make up artist, Yu Feng Mian and Zhang Lian looked at each other. Wondering who would disturb them. Yu Feng Mian opened the door, Zhang Lian heard Yu Bin gasp, she looked at the mirror and saw the reflection of Li Zuo Jin. She started to felt uneasy, what should she do? How should she act in front of Li Zuo Jin? She felt her blood rising, her cheeks felt hot.

"Good morning, Mr. Li," Zhang Lian heard Yu Feng Mian greeted. There was a hint of awkwardness in Yu Feng Mian's tone.

"Is Zhang Lian there?" It was just four words yet it already made Zhang Lian nervous.

"Yes. I am currently doing Ms. Zhang's make up." Yu Feng Mian answered.

"Oh. Please say hi to her for me." Li Zuo Jin said. "I'll go now. Thank you."

I already heard it!! I heard your conversation!!!

Zhang Lian heard the door closed, footsteps of Yu Feng Mian was slowly making into her way. When Zhang Lian looked at the mirror, she saw Yu Feng Mian's expression smiling sheepishly at her. With Zhang Lian's personality, it was easy for her to get along with someone she was working with. For months, Zhang Lian has been working with Yu Feng Mian everyday, her relationship with her was already good. Teasing her, Yu Feng Mian, are you that heartless?

"Ms. Zhang, your husband dropped by to say hi to you. But I was doing your make up so he didn't come in anymore." Yu Feng Mian said. Zhang Lian saw Yu Feng Mian's eyes twinkle as she speak.

For how long are they gonna be teased like this? Zhang Lian thought.

The scene they were gonna take today was the scene they couldn't take last time. It was first kiss of Wei Meirin and Xie Yuan.

Wei Meirin just finished presenting her latest painting for the emperor. It was clearly seen how delighted the emperor was for the talented painter that he found. The emperor favored this painter very well that everyone speculates that Wei Meirin would become emperor's concubine. All of the officials were here, along with the competitors for the next crown prince, Xie Yuan and Xie Jun. It was supposed to be simple presenting of painting but because Wei Meirin was emperor's favorite, the emperor wanted to boast Wei Meirin to everyone.

As the emperor praises Wei Meirin, Xie Yuan was suppressing his emotions. It's been a while since he saw his childhood love, but she was being taken away by his father. Xie Yuan tried to approach Wei Meirin but she would just treat him like how she treats the high ranking officials. Xie Yuan was jealous but he can't do anything.

It was late when the gathering finished. Xie Yuan was going back to his villa when he saw Wei Meirin, staring at the moon, in the pavilion. Nobody was supposed to come here, it was used by the royal family only.

Xie Yuan pondered for a while whether he should go or not to Wei Meirin. After a while, he finally went to Wei Meirin.

"You've been staring at the moon for a long time," Xie Yuan said as he walked slowly towards Wei Meirin.

Wei Meirin was startled, she immediately rise, "Your Highness!" Wei Meirin bowed, "I'm sorry for using the pavilion without your consent!" Wei Meirin remained in her position.

"Ascend." Xie Yuan commanded. He stepped closer to Wei Meirin until only few centimeters left for their bodies to touched.

The sudden movement of Xie Yuan made Wei Meirin nervous. Although she already knew Xie Yuan's feelings for her yet continued to ignored him for a long time.

"We weren't able to see each other for 10 years, now you are treating me like how you treat other officials?" Xie Yuan said in a cold but gentle tone. Wei Meirin lowered her head, she couldn't look at Xie Yuan.

Using Xie Yuan's left hand, he caressed Wei Meirin's face and then lifted her face. Staring at each other, after a few moments, Wei Meirin tried to resist by gently slapping Xie Yuan's hand but Xie Yuan was stronger than her, he caught her arms. Wei Meirin was caught off guard, Xie Yuan took ths opportunity to kiss Wei Meirin.

"CUT!" Director An shouted and clapped.

Everyone in the set was enthralled by the acting of Li Zuo Jin and Zhang Lian. Everyone didn't expect that it one take would be enough to film the scene. During the filming, the time stopped for the whole crew. Their acting was simply too captivating. It looks so real, Li Zuo Jin's acting was brought into another level. Was it been influenced Zhang Lian's acting?

Zhang Lian and Li Zuo Jin were also shocked. They didn't expect that filming this scene would go smoothly. They were both nervous the last time they tried to take this scene. They even had to take it for number of times but right now it took only one take! They were both still anxious how they would fix the problem last time and they started dating.. They were afraid things would be awkward especially they haven't talked after that.

They both stared at each other shyly and bowed at the crew. Their lips couldn't stopped smiling, their cheeks feels like it's gonna burn.

They walked at separate ways after. They still feel awkward each other. Zhang Lian went to her friend Jian Shufen, who was sitting near at the producer, waiting for the set to be ready for her scene with Xie Yuan.

"Sister Lian, your scene with Brother Li Zuo Jin was too captivating! Was it because you two are now a couple?" Jian Shufen asked excitedly. Zhang Lian blushed, even her friend was teasing her.

Zhang Lian's couldn't stopped blushing, "It's nothing like that! Li Zuo Jin's acting was just good. I was influence by it! Sister Shufen don't tease me please. You're siding with them sister Shufen. I didn't expect you would also tease me!" Zhang Lian was flustered.

Jian Shufen laughed softly, "C'mon sister Lian. I was just joking!" Jian Shufen looked at her seriously, "But if it's really like that. I'm afraid I might fall for Brother Li Zuo Jin." Jian Shufen smiled and looked seductively at Zhang Lian.

"Sister Shufen, please stop teasing me with your acting." Zhang Lian didn't know whether to laugh or cry.

Jian Shufen laughed again with Zhang Lian's remark. "I'm sorry but it was so fun teasing you sister Lian!" Jian Shufen guffawed.

Everybody seemed love teasing them. Why is it like this?
