Chapter 28

~Chara's PoV~

"Wh-why do you have your g-gun out?" I stuttered out of pure fear. My heart was pounding, adrenaline flooded my body as I prepared to run if he decided to shoot.

"You killed your own sister and plan on killing another one. So why should I trust you not to kill me as well?" Alex said, still pointing the gun at me. I whimper and back away.

"There's one more thing here that wants to kill me, and it's neither nice or merciful. It will do anything just to get to me and it's not from this timeline, but I suppose you wouldn't understand. If I had wanted to kill you I would've done it already, besides, you're the one with the only weapon capable of taking away all my magic. So I suppose you don't have to trust me, but if this… demon from another timeline… manages to kill me, this whole world will be doomed. The spirits of the demons around here will go wild. They will kill everything in their path in a fit of rage." I say, letting my own fear seep into my voice.

Alex shakes his head and says, "You could be lying for all I know. Besides, demon spirits are the least of my worries right now." He aims the gun right between my eyes.

I whimper again as I have no way of defending myself and look directly at Alex and his gun. "Go ahead. Shoot me." I say, walking towards Alex until the gun was directly against my head, right between my eyes. "At least then, I won't have to suffer anymore." I say, letting Alex see my tears. "My sister, Amy, will lose her shit once she finds out that I'm dead for good this time." I added.

Alex sighs and lowers his gun, putting it away. I slowly begin to regain my magic. He then brushes my hair away from my eyes before kissing me. Before I can even think to kiss him back he ends up backing away. "No more lies and no more secrets, alright?" Alex says, looking down into my eyes. I nod and we begin our walk yet again.

I forgot to mention this in my previous chapters but thank you guys so much for over 10k views! I really appreciate it.
