Chapter 25

~Luna's PoV~

I had reached the castle front, it wasn't the same as my own but it was quite similar. "You said this was an alternate timeline of our own, right Death?" I asked my demon. "So why does everything look different yet similar? It makes no sense." I added.

"Because this timeline is slightly different than our own, there are more people here as well as more royals. Unfortunately there's a huge difference between our own timeline and this one, the demonic magic here is much stronger and older than the demonic magic in our timeline." Death answered. "Plus the people here are terrified of the Devil, it's why the demonic magic here has grown so much and the souls of the original Demons who settled here remain to keep the rumors of the Devil living amongst the living true. Your sister commands these demon souls to kill these people to keep the rumors alive. The villagers had lived without a single death for two years." She added.

"Come on! Let's head inside the castle!" I said, running towards the gate but was suddenly stopped by the guards there.

"Halt! On the orders of the Angelic Princess no one is allowed to enter the castle!" The guard said, narrowing his dark eyes at me.

I sigh and unfold my wings, flying above the guards heads and into the castle grounds.
