12 Chapter 12- Is It True?

December 24th, 2046, 19:30

(Ally's POV)

The afternoon was very cold and still I didn't feel anyhting, not even chilly. I decided to return home before it was late. I didn't want to, because we were going to have a Christmas Eve dinner with everyone, and Noah was the last person I wanted to see. I was feeling very upset now. How could he? I'm enraged right now. I arrive to the shack where Tess, Nancy, and Noah were already busy making the dinner. Bulgogi dupbap and japchae, a korean Christmas dinner. Tess insisted.

As I opened the door, everything smelled delicious, there were already bowls of veggies and meat in the table. But I was too focused on what I was going to do. I went inside the kitchen, where Noah was cleaning some vegetables in the sink. He saw me and smiled, he dried his hands and waited for me to be close to him. His smile suddenly turned into a frown as I got closer, probably because I was red in the face. Once I was close enough, I slapped him right across the face, leaving a big red mark on his right cheek.

-What was that for?!

He claimed as he turned red in anger.

-That was for lying to me, and using me to cheat on your girlfriend, you lying piece of sh*t.

Then I kicked him in the balls. He groaned in pain and fell to the ground. I stormed out of the house and walked about two kilometers when I fell tripped and fell to the ground. A few seconds later, everything went black.

(Noah's POV)

What did I do? Why did she do this? After she kicked me, I stayed on the ground for a while, confused, angry, sad, in pain, trying to process what is happening. I can see someone lean down to see me, it's not someone I can recognize easily, besides, the tears make everything seem blurry.

-Noah?

I hear a sweet voice call me out. It's like water, running down my ears and filling my head with it. It's not a sensation I enjoy. As i start to get up, I look at the mirror and see my face. Blood-shot eyes with dry tears, a huge purple bruise on my right cheek and very messy hair. it's disgusting.

-Noah are you ok? What happened here?

Jully's voice asks me. Now I know who leant down to see me. What is she doing here?

-What are you doing here?

I say as loud as my sore throat will allow.

-What do you mean? Your girlfriend invited me.

-Well, judging on what just happened, I'd say she broke up with me.

I finish with a sting on my chest. Did she? Did she break up with me?

After we finished taking everything to the table, we heard knocks on the door, rythmical, robotic knocks. Knock, knock, knock. Nancy stood up from the couch and opened the door.

-Who are you?

She asked to whoever had knocked. A split second later, she was thrown across the room and was lying lifeless against the wall. Behind the door was Winter Shadow, eyes filled with madness and bloodlust. She looked enfuriated around the room until she locked her eyes on me. She grinned maliciously and held an ice sword. She crushed it with one movement and threw the shards to the floor.

-Fair fight.

She said, but in a voice that sounded like Ally's, but, deeper, older. She ran towards me, and I coulnd't move. My feet were fixed to the ground, and I stood there, just waiting for whatever may come. A split second before she reached me, Jully cut her off and pinned her to the ground.

-Let me go!

Winter Shadow snarled as she shook her off and grabbed her by the neck.

-Who the f*ck...-July was saying when Winter Shadow freed herself of her grip and threw her aside.

-Now, you little scumbag, let's dance, shall we?- She said as she started walking towards me. Out of nowhere, Tess appeared in front of me and gestured me to move out of the way. I forced myself to back out of the dining room and upstairs, but suddenly an ice wall was in my path.

-Having fun, aren't we? Why leave?

-Get away from here you crazy b*tch- Tess said with rage as she clenched her fists.

-Bring it on bloodsucker.

Tess snarled at her and charged at her in the blink of an eye. Winter Shadow was caught off guard and flew towards the wall. She hit it and fell to the ground. Tess and I eyed each other as I thought that it was over. I walked towards the spot where She got thrown and saw that she was back to Ally's looks. I crouched to see if she was breathing and, yeah, she was, only she was unconscious. I carried her bridal style and laid her down on the sofa, it would be no use to try and wake her up. I looked back to the stairs to see that the ice wall blocking the path upstairs was not there anymore. It disappeared as soon and quickly as it had appeared. I didn't think too much about it becuase besides the stairs also lay Nancy, who was waking up after being thrown away when she opened the door. Her eyes darted in all directions scared, she didn't know what had happened apart from being flown all the way to the stairs after opening the door. I approached her and she started trying to talk to me, but she couldn't make a whole sentence. Tears streamed down her cheeks because of the desesperation.

-Hey, it's OK- I said while kneeling down to talk to her-, everything's OK, don't worry.

-T-t-the g-gi-girl in t-the do-door...

-Don't worry about it, it's all over, you're safe OK?

She nodded and cleaned her cheeks.

-Come on, there's still a lot of food, let's go eat- I finished, offering a hand to help her get up. She took it and got up. After a few minutes, she was already going through a plate of mashed potatoes and meatballs. While she ate, I washed some of the dishes in the kitchen. My cheek still hurt pretty bad from Allison's slap and the bruise only seemed to get worse. A few minutes later, Jully came into the kitchen. She opened the fridge and grabbed a banana milk.

-I wouldn't do that if I were you- I said while I washed the soap off a pan.

-Why?

-Those are Allison's, and she get's really mad when someone takes them without asking.

-Whatever- She answered putting the milk back-. So, do you mid explaining what happened?

-None of your business- I answered her becoming irritated. Ever since she had appeared, Ally had been acting very strange. I racked my brain to find out what had happened or if I had done something else to make her mad. I couldn't think of anything until I thought about earlier, when she showed up with Lyla and the unconscious guy. She had spoken to me in Korean, saying that I was only hers. I obviously told her to back off, to leave me alone. But of course Allison wouldn't have understood it. Then... No, she wouldn't, or would she? I mean, she's the only one who was there who speaks Korean apart from me and Jully. No, it can't be.
