48 Football match

His team kicked off and unlike previously in the girls game where they all chased the ball, the boys spread out and tried to take advantage of the entire field.

They tried to pass the ball around, but it didn't take long for one to slip up and to lose possession of it. This happened for a bit, yet Jake had still to come in the vicinity of the ball, so he got a bit bored.

Then suddenly the opposing team send a long pass to his team's side of the field. It was meant to just be a clearing, but the opposite team got lucky and the ball didn't go out and went over the right back's head.

The left-winger of the opponent was faster than their right back and seemed to reach the ball earlier. From then on he would have a lot of space to head for the goal.

He could already see it as he ran towards the ball. He visioned himself picking up the stray ball walking towards the penalty box and scoring the first goal for their team.

Yet before he was even in reach of the ball he could see someone wearing the opponents uniform pick up the ball and pass it casually towards their keeper, with great accuracy.

Every one of both teams looked at Jake in surprise as none had thought Jake would be fast enough to pick up that ball. Some had gone to the same middle school as him, so they knew he wasn't that athletic.

Even Jake himself was quite surprised. Not only by the sprint he just took easily reaching the ball before anyone else, but mostly because he knew exactly what would happen.

In his head, he calculated the position where he could pick up the ball and where his opponents would be.

He realized this was all because of his brain being used better than it did before. It wasn't hard for him to calculate where the ball would be and if he could reach it before the opponent would.

Even though everyone was surprised the game was still in play so they quickly cleared their head and resumed playing. Yet time after time they were astonished by Jake.

After a bit of playing it was very clear the other class was way better than Jake's. Still, the score was 0-0. And that was all because of a single player.

Jake had thwarted their offense again and again. Every long ball was easily picked up by him as even though the wingers were far faster than their backs, Jake was even faster than them and always seemed to appear right where he needed to.

He was never one step too late and always easily reached the optimal position to pick up the ball and pass it towards a free player.

If a player tried to dribble past him, they would always lose the ball. Not only was Jake's body stronger than the forwards, but he also always seemed to luck out and know how the forwards would try to pass him.

No matter what kind of feign they tried Jake always intercepted the ball and passed it towards a teammate. Only because his team just wasn't that good, they could never capitalize on Jake's amazing defense.

At first, Jake was surprised by his performance as well, but naturally, he knew what was the reason for this. His brain was way stronger than anyone else's right now and because he had been working out for quite a bit now, his body was very strong as well.

He didn't understand why but because of his stronger brain, his body seemed to grow stronger at a rate much faster than usual. That was the reason he was getting much stronger in a very short amount of time.

Not just the two teams had picked up on Jake's amazing defensive skills, but their spectators in the girls from their classes as well as their gym teacher in Mr. Wright had seen it as well.

At first, the girls were only chatting with each other, not caring much about the game the boys played, but once a girl pointed out Jake was not only playing very well but looked kind of handsome too, the girls paid some more attention.

They saw that Jake was amazing. Jake was quite tall as he was a bit over 1,80 meters. He had short blonde hair with some gel in it to style it.

Seeing that not only was he pretty tall he was actually quite handsome as well. So most of the girls who had either not seen Jake before or not really looked at him like this started to get interested in him.

Jake who had wanted to not attract too much attention towards himself was doing the opposite of it right now. But he couldn't help himself as he actually quite enjoyed playing football.

Before he was always really bad at it, so naturally he came to dislike playing it, but currently he was unbeatable and no-body was able to pass him, so naturally he enjoyed it very much.

A lot of the girls were now paying attention to Jake as he was not only quite handsome but seemingly very athletic as well, but one girl's eyes were filled with more fire than the others.

And not because she thought Jake was handsome, but because she really wanted to compete with him. Just before at the girls' game, she had single-handedly won them the game and even after seeing some of the more talented boys playing football she thought she was able to beat them.

But seeing Jake a fire lit in her eyes as she wanted to play football against him. But she knew that wouldn't be possible.

In the meantime, Jake continued to impress everyone on the sports field with his outstanding performance, but the score remained to be 0-0. When suddenly someone yelled in pain.

"Aaahhh."

Someone from the opposite team fell down and grabbed his ankle. Mr. Wright paused the game and went to see what happened.

After a bit, it was clear the guy couldn't go on as he had sprained his ankle. He was helped by some others to the sideline where he sat down. After the game would end he would be taken to the nurse's office.

"All right let's continue." Mr. Wright said.

Then someone said: "but now we have uneven teams."

As every boy was already playing and there were no substitutes, it was now uneven. Mr. Wright thought for a bit as he suddenly got up with an idea. He looked at the girls before he found the one he was looking for.

"Jessica how about you join in?"

Mr. Wright looked at the blonde girl who had dominated the girl's match.

Most of the boys looked at Jessica as well. They didn't really want to play with her. Not because she was a girl, but because she could most likely dominate them as well.

Naturally, none of the boys wanted to be shown all sides of the field by a girl. Their pride couldn't take that. Still, they couldn't say this out loud.

Jessica's face remained as cold as ever as she looked at her teacher. Even though inside she was smiling with joy. She had wanted to join the game and play football since the boys started and even more so when she saw Jake's skill, but she hadn't been able to.

Now that she was asked to join how could she refuse so she said: "Okay, I'll join in."

Jessica then walked onto the field towards the striker position.

When the boys saw her walk onto the field they had wanted to say we'll go easy on you since you're a girl, but they quickly swallowed their words as they hoped she would go easy on them instead. They had all realized they were probably no match for this beauty.

Jessica stood in the striker position and the boy playing it before had reluctantly given it up to her. Opposite towards her stood Jake looking quite without a care in the world.

He was most likely the only one who didn't think he was outmatched by Jessica.

Jessica looked at him with a sharp gaze, making him quite uncomfortable. He didn't think he had done something wrong to her, so why would she look at him like that?

Meanwhile, Jessica vowed to herself to beat Jake, by passing him and scoring a goal. Even though her expression was still ice-cold. Inside she was raring to go.

The game resumed not long after and Jessica demanded the ball. After getting passed the ball she dashed towards Jake, the ball seemingly glued to her feet.

Every boy realized in that simple dribble, she had been taking it easy in the girls' game. They all got even more scared of her dominating them.

Jake instead smiled as he saw the beauty running at him. Naturally, he glimpsed at her bountiful chest swaying as she ran towards him.

But once she got close he focused. Naturally, he wouldn't let her pass no matter what.

Jessica appeared in front of him, feigned right and went left, but as soon as she did, Jake shadowed her and appeared in front of her again.

Jessica unfazed, feigned once more trying to pass Jake, but no matter how much she feigned or tried to pass him, Jake was always right in front of her. Realizing it wouldn't be that easy she grunted.

It was a true 1v1 as no other boy dared to come close. They knew they weren't a match for Jessica at all, so they chose to stay away and let Jake match up with her.

She once again dashed towards Jake full speed and used a step-over, feigning to go left but go right instead.

She did it at full speed, flawlessly and as she finished her move, Jake disappeared in front of her and only the goal remained, but she immediately realized something was wrong.

Looking down at her feet she saw no ball was present. Jessica immediately stopped running and turned around. She then saw Jake with the ball at his feet while he smiled at her cheekily.

This only infuriated her even more. Not only did he beat her in the 1v1, but he now tried to mock her as well, by standing still and smiling at her.

But while she got angry, her heart skipped a beat as well. She didn't know why but suddenly and for the first time she developed an interest in a boy.

She had not cared that he was handsome and quite athletic, but now seconds after he beat her in the 1v1, a red blush appeared on her face as she felt something weird in her stomach. Naturally, she immediately tried to suppress this feeling and looked at him with an angry gaze.

She wouldn't go down so easily and Jessica sprinted towards Jake trying to regain control of the ball.

Jake seeing the beautiful figure of Jessica dashing straight at him, moved in the direction of the opponent's goal and sprinted towards it.

Usually, he had always passed the ball to a teammate whenever he got it, but now it was time to take matters into his own hands, so he made way towards their goal.

The opponents didn't expect Jake to take a run at them and after recovering they moved to defend, but Jake slipped by them one by one easily. No matter if it was speed or skill, Jake was better than every one of them and passed them in a blink, making way towards their goal.

Even Jessica who thought she was quite fast, couldn't catch up with Jake. Even though he had the ball at his foot and needed to dribble past his opponents. She still couldn't catch up with him.

In the end, Jake easily passed all defenders and after running at the keeper, he easily shot the ball in a corner of the goal out of the keeper's reach.

All the boys from his class cheered and the other's were dumbfounded. Not only was he unpassable as a defender, but he was unstoppable as a forward as well.
